I levelled up both my Strength and Agility for a much more efficient and hopefully for better odds in my side. Although, seeing my personal Attribute screen it seems that I learned the Weapon Proficiency skill from my previous run in during the first scenario.
But what peeked my interest the most was the first skill listed that had already reached level ten. 'I don't remember ever upgrading that. Nor could I have learned and mastered in such short time.' I thought to myself and wondered what that skill does. I snap out of my own thoughts when the familiar texts appear infront of me again.
[ Hello! I am the system! I am the one who brought you inside the novel 'Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint' ]
Holy Shit! Wtf this is just like those isekai mangga's I read! Well I mean This is already an isekai mangga but you get the point!!
[Your Primary Directive is to reach the end of this novel in order to activate the Personal Attribute 'A second chance' and return to your original world—]
The texts infront of me was now newly accompanied by a robotic voice. But, just as it was about to continue, it's "voice" was cut off by the roar of the bear and the debris of the pillar I was leaning on to fall around me, making the text glitch out of existence.
SHIT! I FORGOT THAT THING WAS STILL THERE!
As the bear found my location I quickly grab the steel bar and bolted away from the pillar as fast as I could, shielding my eyes from the concrete dust.
The bear once again roars in fury and rushes towards me. Luckily I levelled my Agility and dodged quick enough for it not to hit me.
[The Constellation who likes bloody fights is eagerly clutching his seat]
What the hell? Why are constellations already tuning in!? Amd why are there still no donations!??
I complain inwardly as the bear is still disoriented from hitting hard stone wall. Yet, my break doesn't last long as it recovers once again and seems angrier than ever. I quickly dismiss the notifications and get back to running.
The bear stands back up and lunges to me on all fours. 'I can't possibly outrun this! Dammit' I quickly think to myself before stopping in my tracks. I turn back to face the bear as it roars and keeps running towards where I stand. I clutch the metal bar tightly, my hands shaking and just as the bear jumps for me. I run towards it raising the steel bar, and with the crazy stroke of luck, The steel bar managed to pierce the bears stomach and due to the bear launching itself toward me all I had to do was run and duck as the force of itself lunging helped the steel bar rip through it's own stomach.
I hear a loud thud and open my eyes, I let out a breath I didn't know I had been holding. The bears dying body bleed out behind me, I drop to my knees and pant outloud, tears pricking the sides of my eyes. I look behind me and just as it takes its last breath, A notification screen appears infront of me.
I feel my body weighing down with exhaustion as I read through it.

[The constellation 'Demon Bear-Prince' is looking at you]
The last notification made me tense up seeing as killing the bear might have angered the old story of Mor'du, but seeing the money made my troubles ease up.
A problem for another I suppose.
'Finally! Money! Yess this has got to be the best day of my life! Not only did I live, I also fucking beat this bear!'
I visibly smile like a mad woman as I stare at it. The notification screen soon disappears along with my smile. I suddenly feel aware of the sticky, wet feeling on my body as well as the stench of blood all around me. I gag at the feeling, I really wanna cry right now.
"Ewww this is absolutely disgusting!!" I exclaim loudly. "Does anyone in this fucking novel even shower?!" I cry out in agony as I stand up. "No amount of face washing is ever gonna clean me now!" I walk away to the bathroom my uniform sagging with blood, grumbling as I walk up the stairs, I can hear the groans of the surviving students as they stare at me in shock.
As I walk everyone seems to distance themselves from me, 'God why is everyone still so judgy even in the apocalypse?' I roll my eyes inwardly as I go back downstairs and head fro the exit. Walking out the gates of our school I look around and the streets are already in ruin. Potholes that have been covered up by asphalt and dirt can be seen, undoubtedly from the giant ground rats that have dug down. I look at some wrecked cars and inside are corpses some already missing parts of their face, I shiver at the sight yet keep walking to head to the nearby convinience store.
As I walk inside the familiar bell when opening the door rings, I head straight behind the counter to grab some bags. The convinience store isn't that much wrecked from others raiding it, I seem to be one of the first ones to get here. I go isle by isle just as if I was buying snacks and foods back in the real world, only you know the difference is that this time, I'm living inside the apocalyptic world of the novel I was reading.
I stock up as much food as I can carry with me, mostly canned foods that have those tabs for easy opening. I set down my gathered food behind the counter as I also crouch behind, 'it's better to camp in here for now since the sun is already setting' I think to myself as I take a deep breath in, the still strong scent of drying blood fill my nose.
[ Hello! I am the system! I am the one who brought you inside the novel 'Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint' ]
The "system" pings once again, repeating the message from before.
[Your Primary Directive is to reach the end of this novel in order to activate the Personal Attribute 'A Second Chance' and return to your original world. You must survive in here until the end or die inside the novel and die in the real world ]
"Wtf dude... For Real??"
[Yes. For Real.]
"Alright... by reaching the end, do I have to follow the Novel's original ending? Cause I really. Really. Don't like the original ending."
[You may influence the story however you please. You may create another ending by buying the promo 'Reader's Happy Ending' for 50,000 in-game coins.]
"Alright, I'll do it. To influence the story I need to meet Yoo Joonghyuk and Kim Dokja first. And in the Novel they should have already finished the first scenario right?" The robotic voice pings again interupting me.
[The scenario in the rest of the Seoul Peninsula have yet to start.]
"So that means I still have time right? If I remember correctly it should start tommorow in the late afternoon right?? If only I had a copy of the novel like Kim Dokja." I was to ask about the copy but the system beat me to it.

"SOLD." I exclaim and not even a second passes and the copy of the novel appears before me, and without wasting another second, I quickly open the first chapter reading through until I reach the correct part. "Great! So I was right. So all I need is to get to Guemho station! Easy!"
The sun has already set and the moon is shining in the sky by the time I've created a plan for everything. 'And everyone said overthinking wasn't going to get me anywhere' I roll my eyes at the thought, I've already figured out how to approach Kim Dokja so I don't hopefully get killed. I can hear the sound of bugs outside now and a few surviving people chatting in low voices. I call on the system quickly to clarify something and it immediately dings to life.
[Yes?]
"Will the constellation selection start tommorow?"
[Yes]
"Alright. Another thing, Is there a way I can take a bath or something?? I feel incredibly uncomfortable drying in blood you know!"
[Would you like me to initiate avatar cleaning program?]
"Yes. A hundred times Yes."
[Avatar Cleaning Program initiated 10%]
As the bar infront of me fill from 10% to 20% and so on I look at the program. "Wait. Avatar? What do you mean by that?"
[Yes. You are now currently wearing an avatar.]
"Ahh... I see." I think for a while until the bell on the door rings out, signifying that someone has entered. I quickly freeze in place covering my mouth with my hands to keep myself quite. The person seems to be walking around, Their heavy footsteps sound out, they seem to be walking around grabbing food. Their footsteps grow closer until they completely stop , I close my eyes tightly as I hold my breath. My blood runs cold at the sound of a man's voice.
"Come out little girl."
