Chapter 3
Dakota got up from her bed excitedly. Then Alfred came into her room.
"Good morning Dakota, you seem very cheerful today, is something wrong?" Alfred asked.
"Today I finally get to see the boy I've been texting!" Dakota said excitedly.
"Is this some kind of... virtual friendship?" Alfred asked.
"Yes and no, that boy and I are in the same class, but he didn't come yesterday. I didn't see him the first day either, but I'll see him today! I'm so excited!"
"I hope he comes today then Dakota." Alfred said.
"I hope so." Dakota told Alfred.
Dakota then went to the bathroom. She washed her face and hands and put on her make up. Daisy then went into the bathroom.
"Good morning, Daisy."
"Good morning, sister." Daisy said as she washed her face and hands.
"You woke up a little late today, even though we went to bed at the same time."
"I know, but you know how I love sleep. It happened again and it made me wake up late."
"Fortunately, school doesn't start too early, otherwise you would be late."
"Come on, sis, we're rich. If not, I could be absent, it wouldn't be a problem. I could get my absences erased for money."
"Yeah, but you can't do that all the time. You can only do it when you're really bad."
"I know... I hope breakfast is good."
"Alfred always makes the best breakfast."
"I know. He's a good guy."
The two girls came out of the bathroom and went to the kitchen.
After both girls finished the breakfast Alfred prepared, they hugged Alfred and left the house.
After the girls left the house, they got into the limo with Bernard. After Bernard dropped them off at school, the girls headed to their classrooms. After Dakota and Daisy said their goodbyes, Dakota excitedly entered her classroom.
"Good morning Danika!" Lindsay waved cheerfully at her friend.
"Good morning Lindsay," Dakota greeted her friend with equal warmth.
"Did Sam come to school?" Dakota asked her friend.
"Samuel?" Lindsay looked confused.
"No, the kid who was in this class but sat in the back row," Dakota replied.
"Ohh, I thought you were asking about Harold! But Sam hasn't arrived yet. His desk still shows as empty."
"Ohh..."
Dakota looked upset.
"Dan, are you okay? Or are you in love with him?"
"I just... I thought he was coming. He told me he was coming tomorrow... I wonder if he's scared of me, Lindsay?" Dakota asked her friend.
"No, why would he be afraid of you? You're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life," Lindsay replied.
"You know Lindsay, you're a good friend." Dakota said as she hugged her friend.
"Awww, I know, right?" Lindsay said happily.
Then came Lightning.
"Sha-Good morning girls! Who do you have a crush on today?" Lightning asked the girls with his egotistical attitude.
"It's definitely not you," Dakota told the jock with an IQ of no more than 3. He then rolled his eyes.
"Sha-What? Lightning is everyone's crush! Everyone falls in love with me! I know you're in love with me too!"
"Stop pushing her, Brightning," Jo interjected.
"Dude, I'm picking up girls right now and you're ruining it!"
"I think the first thing you should do is pull yourself together Brightning, no one is interested in your skinny dick and plump tits. Also, you have the shortest dick I've ever seen."
The girls laughed at Lightning as Jo laughed.
Lightning grunted and got into position.
"Thanks Jo."
"You're welcome, Dak. You look good today."
"You too, Jo."
Dakota and Jo hadn't been getting along for the last year, but they both had a common enemy. Mike's ex-girlfriend Anne Maria. They had both teamed up to break up the couple. And they had also embarrassed her. It had put things on a better track. The two of them were now close friends. Not as close as Heather, but still good friends.
"Anyway, I better get back to my seat, Dak, I saw Mike coming in just now. Maybe you could talk to him." Jo winked at her friend.
Dakota chuckled and shook her head.
Jo took her seat. Mike entered the classroom.
"Good morning Mike. You look good today."
"Thanks Dakota, you look good too."
Dakota blushed.
"My basketball practice took a long time yesterday, and Anne Maria keeps hounding me. I used to love that girl but she's become so toxic."
"She's always been like that. You know, the one who made that red-haired girl's life hell when she got close to you last year."
"Zoey? Oh yeah... Anne Maria wouldn't let me talk to her. Zoey transferred to another school but the sad part is we don't talk anymore. We lost touch."
"Ohhh, that's sad Mike. I don't know her because she was in a different class but I'm sure she's better than Anne Maria."
"Yeah, she was... but I still wouldn't go out with her because she goes crazy when she sees candy."
"Maybe it's because she saw you," Dakota joked.
Mike chuckled.
"Maybe, but that reminds me of Sierra."
Sierra was a girl who had a huge crush on Cody last year. She harassed him a bit but eventually Sierra transferred schools but the last thing anyone heard about her was that she and Cody were close friends.
"At least he made friends with Cody. I feel bad for that kid."
"Me too. I don't know if I could do it if I were him."
"Me too..." Dakota said with a hint of sadness.
"Dakota, are you okay? You look a little upset? Is it because your good friend Heather didn't show up?"
Heather came in after Mike asked this.
"Who said I didn't come?! Of course I did and I would never leave my bestie here alone!" Heather said as she hugged her best friend.
"Heather, it's so good to see you."
"I know, right?" Heather said, looking at her nails.
"But it's still nice to see you too, Dak."
"I know, right?" Dakota said, looking at her nails. Then they both laughed at each other.
They all took their places. Then a slightly shorter man came.
"Cam!"
Mike walked over to the short boy.
"Mike!"
The two kissed.
Everyone in the class was very surprised by this situation.
"Mike... what's going on?" Dakota asked.
The two of them stopped kissing.
"Ohh sorry, Cameron and I just started dating." Mike explained.
"But he and you-" Before Dakota could finish her sentence, Mike cut in.
"Cameron is a history teacher, I knew he was teaching us today, he wrote to me. Cameron and I are 3 years apart, which I think is a pretty reasonable age difference," Mike explained.
"Well, I guess that makes sense." Nina shrugged.
"Didn't our regular history teacher come today?" Oliver asked.
"Ohh, Miss Miriam got sick today. She told me to teach you guys today." Cameron explained.
"That woman just couldn't die either..." Heather mumbled under her breath to Dakota.
"I know, right?" Dakota mumbled to Heather.
"Can one of you name the class?" Cameron asked.
"Everyone from our class is here except for one person. Our friend Sam, who didn't come yesterday, didn't come to school again today." Scarlett explained.
"Okay then, I'll fill out the attendance book," Cameron said.
"I can't believe Sam didn't come today either..." Dakota mumbled.
"Did you say something, Dak?" Heather asked her close friend.
"No, I just said it was weird that it didn't overlap," Dakota explained to her close friend Heather.
"I honestly don't care, that cow might not come as much as she wants." Heather shrugged.
Dakota wanted to say something but found it strange so she decided to keep quiet.
"Okay, today we're going to talk about the French Revolution. The French Revolution came about in this way..."
While Cameron was teaching the lesson, Dakota kept thinking about Sam. Was she avoiding him? Had Dakota not been friendly to him?
Dakota looked a little worried.
Dakota spent the entire class thinking about Sam.
"And that's how the French Revolution came about. Any questions?"
"I do, is it true that the Queen actually said let them eat cake?" Nichelle asked.
"Although it may seem true, it is not. This is a distortion by the public. The queen was someone who was not loved by the public. That is why this sentence was lensed as if it was hers. Why else would the great queen say this?"
"I dunno, I think I'd say eat the paste." Nichelle shrugged.
"Divaaaa!" Julia said in support of her friend.
"Well, I take it you don't have any more questions, do you?" Cameron asked.
"I guess so," Tomy said with a shrug.
"Then you are free to go," Cameron announced.
All the students cheered.
"Mike, would you mind coming with me?" Cameron asked.
"Sure Cam," Mike said, standing up.
Cameron and Mike walked out of the classroom.
There was silence in the classroom for a while.
"What do you think they'll do?" Priya asked.
"They'll probably fuck or something," Nina said.
"We wouldn't be surprised if we saw bruises on Mike's neck," Tomy added.
Nina and Tomy laugh at the joke.
"Well, it wasn't a bad joke, I guess..." Brick said.
While everyone else was chatting amongst themselves, Dakota stayed aside for a bit. She was thinking about Sam. She wanted to write to him but decided not to as she didn't want to be caught by the others.
The whole day passed somehow. When Dakota and Daisy came home Dakota went to her room.
Dakota was crying in her room. Not only was she Bisexual, but she was also upset about not being able to see Sam.
Daisy entered her sister's room.
"Dak, are you okay?"
"I want to be alone right now..."
"Look, if I leave you alone, promise me you won't hurt yourself, okay?"
"Okay, I promise."
"Good..."
Daisy took one last look at her sister before leaving the room.
"You're worrying me, sis. I just want you to be okay. It's okay if Mike turns out to be bisexual, there are other fish to be had."
"That's not even the problem!"
"Then what's the problem?"
"The problem is Sam doesn't come to school!"
"Who is Sam?"
"The boy you've been writing to for the last 2 days is in our class, but because the others in his class don't like him, they don't let him into our class group, so I'm making him friends. He said he'd come today, but he didn't... What am I doing wrong...?" Dakota asked her sister, crying.
"Ohh Dakk! You're not doing anything wrong. I've met people like him a lot, it's not easy. It's not that simple to open up to someone. It's something that will happen over time. You won't be dating after all, but still, don't force him. If he feels ready, he'll show up for you anyway."
"You think so?" Dakota asked her sister.
"Of course it is, just stop thinking about it right now. Sleep tight and you'll feel fine. If you wake up, let me know."
"Okay, thanks Daisy. You're the best sister."
"You too, Dakota. You too."
After the two girls hugged, Daisy left the room.
Dakota decided to sleep without thinking about anyone for once. She wouldn't even answer Sam. She didn't care anymore if Sam came.
Dakota went to sleep and felt a little better.
"If you don't come, I won't come either."

(To be continued)
Note: Hi everyone, I'm so happy that the episode went as planned. The interaction with Jo was going to be a little different, but since the interaction with Lindsay took longer than I expected, I couldn't write the lines I wanted for Lightning, but that's okay. I wrote the rest very well. There will be other things in the next episode. The length is debatable, but I hope it's good. I wish you all a good read. See you in the next episode, love you 333
Note 2: I like the Mike and Cameron ship, in our school the intern teachers are usually young. That's why I made Cameron young. I don't think the 3 year age difference is a problem. Mikameron 4everrr!
