It was the usual day for Harry Potter. Nothing seemed out of place but he remained on edge. He was in Transfiguration with Ron by his side trying to pay attention to Professor McGonagall when the hairs on his neck prickled and a sudden wave of anxiety washed over him.
All of a sudden, a black and green swirl appeared in front of the class and attracted everyone’s eyes. It was then a boy, who seemed to look around their age, dropped out and the swirl grew smaller and disappeared. The boy looked strange at first. When he was dropped, he looked almost like an animation but as a few seconds went by more realistic features started to form.
For starters, the most eye-catching features were that he had green bushy hair that looked like a bird's nest and 4 freckles on both cheeks shaped in a diamond. Not something you’d see every day certainly. He was wearing casual clothes with what seemed to be burn marks and dirt-smudged on. A frown slid on his face after noticing all the eyes on him.
“Ugh..” he looked down and rubbed his head with a scarred hand, “Kaachan ‘s gonna kill me.. well I know that Aizawa-sensei was right all along when he called me a trouble magnet.”
The green-haired boy spoke with both a foreign accent and language which soon turned to English with the accent and then like the rest of them. This boy was strange and there was no denying it.
Harry stood up slightly and stared down at the boy on the floor, “Who are you?”
He looked up realising he had been spoken to. “Hey, you’re spelling English and I speak Japanese. Can’t understand... hey I’m speaking English.. huh what a strange quirk. Well anyways,” he stood up wiping off dirt, “I’m Izuku Midoriya but I think I should say, who are you and where am I?”
“Midoriya, how should we know that we can trust you?” Professor McGonagall said.
Midoriya turned his head around, “I never said you had to but I’d just like to know where I am before anything else happens.” He glanced at the wand loosely held in the teacher’s hand. “Well from what I’ve seen I am in England, which is very far from Japan mind you, and this is some school for what? Magic? Wizardry? I don’t know really but I’ve done my research and where I’m from I don’t think that’s real.”
“I doubt you would know about this, it is kept secret for a reason,” McGonagall replied.
“Oh no, you must have misunderstood. From the information I have gotten from this room, I have deduced that I am in a different universe where most people don’t have quirks or powers. I guess my theory was right, there are alternate dimensions.”
Chaos broke out in the room as the figure stood there nodding his head with a determined look on his face. He had just discovered something extraordinary after all.
