Katani sits up with a sigh, rubbing her eyes, only for arms to come up like octopus tentacles and pull her back down. “Isabel,” she moans, blearily wriggling in the other girl’s grasp. “I’ve got stuff to work on–”
“And it’ll still be there in a few hours,” Izzy mutters, rubbing her back soothingly. “Relax, K-Girl; no one’s expecting you anywhere today. Rest your eyes for me.”
“Fine,” Katani mutters, reluctantly settling into Isabel’s arms. She decides to wait for Isabel to conk out before sneaking out of bed…and that’s the last thing she thinks before sleep takes her again.
