Storm ducks out of Monica’s reach, smirking. “Too slow,” she taunts, and darts back into the clouds. Monica swoops after her with a curse, scanning the sky in for another flicker of white hair or black jumpsuit.
She’ll have to try something else. Monica closes her eyes, letting her other senses track the movements of energy, the ripple of a body she knows so well–and there.
She comes hurtling down in a blind blue flare, hand shooting out to close on Storm’s. The other woman yelps but doesn’t fight as Monica pulls her close.
“Tag,” Monica whispers, and darts away.
