“Aren’t spies supposed to be subtle?” Okoye mutters, adjusting her bright pink jacket. 

“You wear red and gold all day,” Nakia points out as they round the corner. 

“Yes, and it is not subtle,” Okoye says, carefully not looking at the curve of Nakia’s shoulders in her sparkling purple dress. 

“Sometimes the easiest way to blend in is drawing attention to oneself,” Nakia says absentmindedly. 

“That makes no sense.” 

Nakia huffs. Relax, all right? You’ll be able to wreak all the havoc you wish very soon.” 

“Yes, and I’ll have to do it in pink. That doesn’t make it better."
