Chapter 4
The next morning, Freddy walks downstairs into the kitchen, stretching his arms over his head.
"Morning Freddy" Marionette leans on the kitchen counter, mug in hand.
"Morning Mari" Freddy gives a weak wave and sits on the couch in the shared room.
Their house wasn't the biggest in the world, the biggest room was their stage room which was huge, but their kitchen and living room shared a single room, it was fairly large but not at the same time.
"You want anything for breakfast? I'll make it for you" Marionette offers.
"No thank you, I'll make myself something later" Freddy says.
Marionette nods, "Alright then, I'll get working on Gregory's, did he tell you want happened to DJ yesterday?" They turn and open cupboards and grab different things out.
"He didn't, is everything alright?"
"Oh yeah he's fine, he somehow got two of his arms stuck and couldn't get them out."
"But he has 4?"
"And still couldn't get himself out," Marionette leans on the counter again, "seriously, that mans a nightmare."
Freddy laughs to himself, he's known DJ and Mari all his life, both were friends of his parents and friends since they went to Hogwarts, both graduated the school years ago, both of them were in Gryffindor.
"I overheard we've got two guests here," Mari says, "new Hufflepuffs?"
"Yeah, they're both first years, they're twins."
"What're their names?" Marionette opens another cupboard and reaches to grab something.
"Sundrop and Moondrop."
Mari drops the thing they grabbed from the cupboard, it hitting the counter harshly.
"Are you ok?" Freddy asks worriedly.
Mari was frozen in place for a moment before reaching for the thing they dropped, "I'm fine" they say softly, turning back to the counter with purple marks from their eyes down their face.
Freddy knows those marks only show when Mari feels or is getting upset, they slowly fade into colour like a mood ring but theirs is always purple.
Freddy knows that something is up, since Sun and Moon first started, all the adults have been acting weird or just not normal, it reminds him of some very bad past memories...
**There was fire everywhere... the room got hot... he huddled in the corner with a crying 2 year old in his arms... the screams were horrible... the yelling... the cries... the pleads for life... the door getting kicked down... those purple eyes...**
"Good morning" Chica enters the room.
"Morning Chica" Mari and Freddy say, "I've got everything for you out already" Mari says.
"Thank you Mari!" Chica gives Marionette a quick hug and then walks to the other counter, filled with cooking supplies.
Chica didn't seem to have noticed the purple marks, Mari knew they were there and they knew Freddy sees them too.
Roxy and Monty had came downstairs shortly after and also saw the marks on Mari's eyes.
They motion for Freddy to follow them, he gets up and the trio leave the room and to the outside of the house.
"Did something happen with Mari?" Roxy asks.
"I honestly don't know what happened," Freddy says, "Mari asked about Sun and Moon, I told them their names and they froze up, then the marks appeared."
"All of the Professors have been acting strangely too," Monty says, "Well besides Snape, he's normal."
"Even Madam Hooch was being weird," Roxy says, "during quidditch practice she was talking to Professor Sprout about them, I had to be careful incase they saw my ears listening."
"What did they say?" Freddy asks.
"Madam Hooch was asking if Sun and Moon had flown before, Sprout didn't know and asked why, Hooch said they took up flying like they invented it."
"How so?" Monty asks.
"Apparently they were in the air and flying around with ease, even doing large loops and flips."
"Are you sure?" Freddy asks.
"You're doubting an animagus' hearing?" Roxy says.
"Of course not, I believe your hearing and what you say," Freddy says, "it just doesn't sound believable."
"I know" Roxy says.
The three of them stay in silence for a while, until Monty breaks it.
"Do you think Mari knows something about their past? Like the sorting hat said?"
"Mari's never mentioned them before, not that I know of at least" Freddy says.
"Should we ask?" Roxy says.
"If it makes those marks appear, I'd leave it for another time" Monty says.
"You're right, we will ask Mari about it, but not now," Freddy says, "But, on a happier note, guess who I heard singing a lullaby to Greg's last night" Freddy pulls his wand out and makes a circle, a puff of cloud spills out of the tip and forms into Freddys POV of what he saw last night, sound included.
"Oh my god" Roxy holds a hand to her chest.
"That kid can sing I'll give 'em that" Monty says.
Freddy waves his wand again and the cloud retreats back into the wand, "I know, they've both got some talent."
"Show Chica that later and she'll melt" Roxy says.
Freddy chuckles and the trio go back inside, they instantly see Sun, Moon and Gregory had came down while they were out and sitting in a little circle on the carpeted floor, Sun was braiding Moons hair and Moon was doing sign language to Gregory, the smaller doing the same.
Freddy walks over and pats Gregory's head, picking up the empty plate next to him and putting it in the sink in the kitchen.
Freddy can see Marionette giving small and quick glances over to the twins, the purple marks now a deep violet, Freddy frowns and turns his attention back to the sink.
He could hear Gregory snicker about whatever they're signing, Freddy looks over his shoulder and sees Sun had joined in with the signing, Moon signed something which made Gregory laugh out loud and Sun trying to not smile, giving Moon a whack on their arm.
Freddy didn't know sign language, it was Mari who taught Gregory while Freddy was at school, but he and Mari made a deal that once he's graduated, Mari would teach him too.
Mari offered to teach Gregory when his nightmares started, Gregory never wanted to talk after waking up from them so it helped him a lot to learn it, it hurt Freddy that he couldn't talk to his brother like that after his nightmares, all he could do was hug and reassure his little brother he was safe.
He didn't expect Sun and Moon to know sign language, but he's glad they do and that Gregory can sign with other people then just Mari.
Once everyone had eaten and all the dishes were cleaned and put away, everyone went to the stage room to set everything up for practice, the band members checked their instruments, Mari checked the under-stage and raising floor and Gregory, Sun and Moon checked the curtains and lights, Sun had found a fog machine and accidentally turned the intensity up too high and the whole room filled with fog.
Best to say it took a long while to clear the fog out...
Mari had closed the final window after all the fog had left, they get a buzz in their ear piece, they press a button on it and DJs voice comes through.
""We need you at the office,"" He says, ""It's urgent.""
""On my way"" Mari says, taking their finger off of the button and going backstage where the others were, poking their head in.
"DJ needs me, I don't know how long I'll be gone for so keep out of trouble, ok?" They say.
"We will!" The Glamrocks and Gregory say, they wave goodbye and close the door.
"Who's DJ?" Sun asks with a head tilt.
"Another family friend that lives here," Freddy says, "He's always busy so he's not here a lot, but he makes time to come and see our shows."
"He's really big!" Gregory says, holding his arms out, "And he has 4 arms!"
"Like a spider!" Sun says.
"Exactly like a spider!" Gregory says.
Moon shivers, not a fan of spiders whatsoever, they remember Sun finding one when they were locked in the basement for a few days by their parents, he felt like he was gonna pass out when Sun brought it closer to them.
While Sun and Gregory were talking about spiders of all things, Freddy handed Moon a sheet of paper with writing on it.
"What's this?" Moon takes it and looks down at the black ink.
"It's song lyrics," Freddy says, "I thought you might wanted to try the microphone while the others play the song? Only if you want to that is."
Moon looks from the paper and up to Freddy with wide eyes, their mouth open slightly, "But I've only sand lullaby's, I've never done anything like this... what if I fuck it up?"
Freddy decides not to correct Moons language, he gives Moon a reassuring smile, "You won't mess it up, and even if you do it doesn't matter, we could start again or just carry on like it never happened, it's called practice for a reason, right?"
Moon looks back down at the paper, their grip had unknowingly had tightened on the paper but not enough to tear it accidentally.
"Are you sure?" Moon asks again.
Freddy smiles, "I'm sure" he goes to ruffles Moons hair but takes his hand back once he remembered what happened on the first day, "come find me once you're ready ok?"
Moon nods, still looking at the paper, "Ok..."
Freddy smiles again and walks to the rest of the Glamrocks on the other side.
"Did they agree?" Chica bounces on her heels.
"They agreed, they're learning the lyrics now" Freddy nods.
Chica squeals excitedly, "I'm so excited!"
"They've never sang a song like this before, so be patient with them ok?" Freddy says.
"We will," Roxy says, she shakes her head rapidly and her ears turn the name colour as her hair and extend out slightly, "Getting into character."
Sun sees Moon sitting against the wall all by himself, staring at a piece of paper, Sun skips over and sits next to Moon.
"Whatcha reading?" Sun leans in to get a look.
"Freddy asked if I wanted to sing for their practice" Moon says, still focused on the paper.
Gregory peeks his head on the other side of Moon, looking at the paper and scanning over the lyrics, "I wrote this one!"
Sun and Moon look up to the boy, "you did?" Moon asks.
Gregory nods, "yeah, there's a lot of short songs they play for practice, I wrote this one during one of their practices ages ago just for fun, but they liked it and included it."
"I'm not surprised," Moon says with a small smile, "its good."
Gregory gives them a huge smile and Moon turns back to the paper, repeating the lyrics in their head until they can memories them without the paper, he does quicker then he'd thought he would and stand up to tell Freddy.
Freddy smiles and hands Moon the wireless microphone, "It's already on, I'll give you a signal before they start playing, just go with what you think feels right to you and the song, remember, there's no right or wrong, it's only practice."
Moon nods and Freddy walks to Sun and Gregory, who're sitting on the floor watching, Freddy stands next to them and gives Moon a nod, they nod back and Freddy gives the signal.

Chica, Roxy and Monty start to play the song, Moon takes a breath and sings into the microphone.
"That's right I've heard the story over and over again!" They surprised themselves but doesn't let it stop them, "Gee it's swell to finally meet her~ Other Friends!"
Suns eyes brighten and his expression beams, Gregory had a similar reaction and Freddy smiles.
"That's right I've heard the story-! Don't really like how it ends! Gee it's swell to finally meet her other~ friends."
Moon starts to spin to each of the playing Glamrocks, "What did she say about me? What did she say~?"
Then the next, "What did you do without me? What- Did- You- Do~!"
Then the last, "Did you play games without me? What- Did- You- Play~?"
They then leave and spin quickly while moving back to the middle of the room, their free arm held up over their head, curved "Did you think all this time that I wouldn't find out about you!" Then stops spinning.
"Oh! That's right I've heard the story over and over again, gee it's swell to finally meet her other~ friends~"
The song dies down until it stops all together, Moon had the biggest smile on their face that even Sun had never seen before.
Sun hurries to his feet and barges into Moon, grabbing him in a hug and spinning them both around, "That was incredible Moony!"
They spot spinning but Sun doesn't let Moon go, they both look at each other with huge smiles.
"You think so?" Moon says.
"I know so!" Sun cheers, back to squeezing the life out of Moon while they do the same.
"That was excellent!" Freddy cheers, Sun feels Moon trying to wriggle out so he lets him go, Sun didn't expect Moon to run to Freddy and pull him into a hug.
"Thank you.." Moon says quietly.
Freddy slowly and gently wraps his arms around Moon to not startle them, when they don't move or flinch Freddy pulls them closer.
"You're very welcome Moondrop."
Marionette disapparates and appears in Dumbledores office, Dumbledore, DJ, McGonagall, Sprout, Hooch, all of the staff were in the office.
Mari floats above the ground, they never actually touch the ground, preferring to fly then walk.
"Welcome Marionette," Dumbledore says, "So glad you could join us."
"I'm pretty sure I know what you needed me for" Marionette says.
Dumbledore nods, "It is what you're thinking, but there's also a second reason."
Marionette floats a little higher, floating in a sitting position with their knees raised slightly.
"I've called you all here for two reasons, one being two of our new first years, and the other... is this" Dumbledore pulls out a newspaper and turns it around on his desk for the others to see.
A moving picture of a woman with long pinkish white hair and bunny ears had her hands locked together, angrily thrashing around.
Murder and Mind Controller, Vanny, has escaped Azkaban Prison!
All the teachers stare at the page, though the piece effected Marionette and DJ the most.
"We believe Vanny will come searching for her target once again, we thought she'd be headed to the last sight her target was at, but she wasn't there and never showed, so it's clear she doesn't know where her target has relocated himself, but she does know that people who know her target attend Hogwarts" Dumbledore says, mainly looking at Mari and DJ.
"You two must keep the boy safe," Dumbledore says, "His parents had sacrificed themselves to keep the kid safe, do not let their deaths be in vain."
"We won't" DJ says firmly.
Dumbledore nods, "The staff must keep a close watch on The Glamrocks, Vanny knows Fazbear attends Hogwarts, we believe she'll try and get to him to get the location of his brother."
"Do we know why Vanny wants the kid?" McGonagall asks.
"We do not know why" Dumbledore says, "but we do know she'll go to great lengths to get to the boy."
The room goes silent while everyone takes everything in, then Dumbledore speaks again.
"For the other thing I called you all here for, is about Sundrop and Moondrop."
Dumbledore turns to Hooch, "You said you believe they're who we think they are?"
Hooch nods, "I'm sure, at first their names caught me of guard, but I convinced myself it was a coincidence, but after their first flying class and how they look and acted... it was too much to be a coincidence."
Marionettes purple marks somehow get darker, they hug themselves and dig their nails into their arms, pulling their knees closer.
Dumbledore turns to McGonagall and she knows what to do.
"Even on their first day of Hogwarts, they got into trouble, but Moondrop saved Sundrop from even more harm and wouldn't let go until they knew it was safe, like Hooch had said, their names, appearance, attitude, it is not a coincidence."
All eyes turn to Marionette, the purple marks still there, but purple also leaking from their now black and hollow eyes, the white dot disappearing.
"Mari... you know just as well as us that it must be them, you met them this morning right? If they truly are your kidnapped Sons then-"
"I know..." Mari says, "I've been with them all day... I knew it was them just by their names... they remember the sign language I taught them... Sun remembers how to braid hair like I taught them... Moon remembers the lullabies I sang to them both... but they don't remember who taught them... they don't remember me..."
Dumbledore nods, "I to knew it was them by not their names, but the power I felt radiating from them, identical to yours, Mari, I hope you'll be glad to know I have gifted them both transmission rings so they'll never be far from each other."
Marionette nods, "thank you Albus."
The rest of the weekend went by quickly, heck, the next 3 weeks went by quickly, every weekend was spent with The Glamrocks and Gregory either to just hang out, explore, or practice their music.
Freddy and Moon took turns with singing, Sun even got involved and sang a few songs himself just for fun.
It was once again Friday and their 4th week at Hogwarts, the twins were attending their final lesson of the week, Flying.
Sun and Moon were flying on their broom higher up in the air then the other students, Hooch hadn't been hiding that the twins were better at flying then the other students, some even claiming that the twins were the Professors favourites and letting them get away with everything.
Madam Hooch had been called away for a quick talk with McGonagall, she had instructed the students to continue what they're doing, and not to do anything else until she gets back.
A first year Hufflepuff looks up and sees Sun and Moon higher in the air, doing flips or just swaying and circling around.
He growls at the sight and nudges a Slytherin next to him, "Hey, you wanna knock them off their brooms?" He whispers.
"Well duh" she whispers back, "those two have been the favourites to all the staff and even the Glamrocks, they deserve it."
They fist bump and sneakily fly up and higher until they were just below the height as the twins, neither of them had noticed the new arrival underneath them until they get shoved and pushed off of their brooms.
If it wasn't for Sun screaming no one would have noticed the two kids falling to the ground, Hooch and McGonagall had heard the screaming and rushed out and saw them falling.
Moon was able to push themselves through the air and grab Sun, the blonde burring their head into the crook of their brothers neck, trying to hush their screaming to not deafen Moon.
They both beg internally to stop falling, hearing each others words in their heads thanks to the rings, but they keep falling...
And falling...
And falling...
Until they stop...
Moon opens their eyes slightly to see what had stopped them, but they see nothing underneath them besides the ground about 30 feet below them.
"Sun..." Moon says quietly, "Sun look..."
Sun peeks his head up and sees the same thing as Moon, he yelps and jumps out of Moons hold and just floats back a little, both of them were floating in the air.
They both look at each other in confusion, then looking under them to see the students and two Professors looking up at them.
"If this isn't more evidence... then I don't know what is..." McGonagall says quietly.
