When the sky comes crumbling down
Summary
What happens when 9-1-1 exists in the same universe as marvel? What happens when the entire 118 is exposed to a fire that isn't so natural as it is mystical? What happens when everyone wakes up in a room they've never seen before? What happens when the sky comes crumbling down, will they be able to hold themselves up or will the weight of the world crush them as they adapt to brand new circumstances?~●~●~Or; When my delusions catch up to me, and I finally decide to make a story so my favorite original characters can have a home with my favorite characters (That isn't in my notes app)(WIP Story, huge thanks to @llawliettii for helping me with ideas, grammar, and punctuation :) )Edit: There will more than likely be little-to-no Marvel characters present in this story, they do however still exist, and may be referenced on occasion.
Note
Well hello my lovelies this is my first ever fic (Except for one I made on wattpad 3 years ago but we don't talk about that... 2021 was a rough year) please please tell me if you see any spelling errors or anything wrong with a timeline or anything I've never been the best at realizing my own mistakes when writing because I write on impulse instead of planning anything, but anyways! This will be a 911 and marvel crossover there's not gonna be a lot of marvel characters in this because I wanna focus on 911 here but there will likely be some mentions or appearances as they do in fact exist in this world, there will also be a couple of my Oc's in here, i do hope you all enjoy this story and if you didn't come here from tiktok go follow me <3 see end of story for more notes <3 if you hear a name you don't recognize (Such as Vivian) assume it's an oc, their place in the story and backstory WILL be explained my writing is a bitnout of place but i swear the beginning of this is weird because it's a bit in the future it will skip back and explain everything I swear

What's happening to these people?

Reno had left Vivian and the other woman, apparently known as Athena, to work through the battle that was transferring unconscious patients.

Luckily enough for Reno, he had been able to get in touch with the emergency contacts for the rest of them. Reno had informed them of the situation and informed them where they'd be going and why, which seemed to settle most of it.

Edmundo Diaz, the first person he had gotten a file for, Single father, divorced a few years back. Eddie's emergency contact was an Evan Buckley, but seeming as the man in question was in the same predicament as Eddie, he had to call his backup, Isabel Diaz.

The woman was sweet, but apparently she hadn't been alerted to Eddie's presence in the hospital to begin with. Despite that he managed to convince her that the company would be able to take better care of her Grandson than the hospital.

Next was Howard Han, his emergency contact was a woman named Anne Lee. The woman had a lot of questions, but after reassurance, that they'd take better care of him, she hesistantly agreed to the transfer and that was that.

Next was Henrietta Wilson, who was almost as simple as the rest, but apparently her wife Karen hadn't been made aware of her presence in the hospital either- he most definitely needed to get on the phone with someone about this when this was over.- The woman insisted that she was on her way to the company and to transfer her, ignoring Reno's advisory not to come right away.

Now the last 2 weren't so difficult as they were annoying. Robert Nash's contact was his wife of course, but she hadn't answered any calls, in hindsight that would be because she was with Vivian.

And then Came Evan Buckley, He had no emergency contact. Absolutely nothing, no family, no friends, not even the man who listed him as an emergency contact was listed. Usually you would need an emergency contact but his file was blank, which made things complicated.

He had no real authority over the hospital so, besides calling a person who has medical authority over decisions, he had no way of getting them transferred without direct consent. Which meant no way of transferring an unconcious patient with no emergency contacts.

It was a real pain in the ass, he didn't know these people, but they were first responders and with the brief research he did by listening to old news, they seemed to be LA's dream team. That made him want to do everything right by them.

He didn't have time to dwell on the subject after Vivian had told him to transport the ones he already got consent for, which he did... and it was strange seeing them.

None of them quite gave off the indication they were alive. They had clammy, cold flesh, and it was malleable in a way that shouldn't be human. He'd never seen anything like it and if it weren't for the pulse, seemingly healthy breathing and the light beeping drowned by his own thoughts, he'd think they were dead.

Reno had auto-piloted putting them into his truck, it was a truck specifically designed for hauling large numbers of medical patients. He wasnt exactly sure what the "specifically designed" meant considering the truck was practically a larger uhaul that had power in the back, but he never questioned it too far.

A few moments- roughly 13 minutes- later he was pulling into the company, a large M displayed on the front of the building. Vivian had worked here for 3 years and he himself had been working with a company that frequently worked with this one, but he still wasn't quite sure the name of the company.

Reno walked around to the back of the truck, opening the doors, and when he did he was met with the 3 of them as he'd originally expecting,  but one was now in a sitting position, with their eyes closed.

Henrietta Wilson as he recalled, was sitting up in the gurney he had transported them in, it was strange they hadn't woken up at the hospital so why now. His thoughts were interrupted when he realized she wasn't awake.

Reno pulled down the ramp for the truck and climbed in,  looking at Henrietta, placing a finger on the pulse point in her wrist. "Still steady, but you don't seem to be awake so why are you up?" Reno mumbled to himself, checking the pulse of the others. They were still hooked up to a monitor but he wanted to be sure he could feel their pulse too.

When Reno finished looking them over he started to haul them out, starting with Hen, seeing as she seemed to be the enigma out of them so far. Once he stepped into the door someone grabbed Hen from him and told him the room number she would be in, which quite frankly was super helpful.

Next he brought in Chimney, making a mental note that the monitor listed his temperature at an Abnormally high number, guessing it was probably just a malfunction. Though his skin was warm to the touch, not nearly as cold as before.

And then there was Eddie, when he went to pull Eddie down the ramp he grazed Eddies arm with just one of his fingers and suddenly Reno stiffened violently, every nerve in his body locking up as he fell backwards.

It felt like his hand was just given a lobotomy, he thought a bit half hazardly, he couldn't move but he was still able to think and internally laugh at himself so... whatever just happened didnt kill him, but his fingers did not feel okay. He tried to make an effort to look at his hand or to move his hand where he could see it but he couldn't move, he was trapped in his own body.

Whatever it was it felt temporary but something tells him that if he hadn't just grazed the man he wouldn't have been as lucky as temporary paralysis... his point proven when someone from the company came out to check on the loud noise, the man didn't seem to see Reno from the way he fell, he fell off the side of the ramp while Eddie just slide the rest of the way down it, and when the man went to grab Eddie's gurney, he made the mistake of grabbing Eddie's arm.

Reno had tried to muster up the energy to warm the man, he could just barely see him as he sees the man's eyes roll back into his head, body falling limp rather than stiff. 'What the hell is happening...' Reno thought to himself in mindless panic, or perhaps his mind was the only thing present in this panic, none of his motor skills seemed to be functional right now. He tried to move himself again before he suddenly felt the urge to sleep. It was nice, he was so tired and he hadn't even realized it, a nap couldn't hurt.
