Chapter 5
A sweet ending to a new beginning.
(Fast Forward)
“I can’t wait to see what will happen later!” Draco laughed as he sat down on the bed. Hadrian and Cassi were currently packing their belongings from their dorms. Draco was already done packing his stuff and was eager to leave Hogwarts and see their father and Kalila again. He was sure that the feeling was mutual with his siblings.
The Goblins and their father had spent hours and hours on planning how to get the siblings out of Hogwarts without getting them harmed and gaining suspicion from Dumbledore and his soldiers. The meeting was going nowhere until Hadrian suggested:
“What if you attack Hogwarts, Father?” Hadrian spoke from his seat, his eyes drooping with sleepiness. The meeting with the goblins had been going for hours. He gave a glance at Cassi and his twin immediately knew what he was up to. Before Cassi was about to support her twin’s idea, she was interrupted.
“Dumbledore will attack back and you might get hurt.” Tom hissed, immediately disagreeing with the idea. He just got his children back, there’s no way he’ll be bringing them back to harm.
“But, we can pretend that we died in the ‘sudden attack’.” Cassi stated making Tom hum in thought. He thought of this before but immediately dismissed it as his children could get harmed. But if this was the only way for them to escape then they must go through it and take the risks.
“Will it work?” Tom asked Griphook. Said goblin went silent for a minute before speaking.
“It will. We can make fake dead bodies of the children for them to see but it may cost a fortune.” Tom didn’t mind spending that much money, if it was for his children then he will gladly do it.
Hadrian’s faced scrunched at the thought of having a dead fake body of him and his siblings.
“We can also make the portkeys so they will be able to leave safely. But to where?” Griphook questioned.
“Forks, Washington. It’s a small town with a small population. We can easily fit in there.” Draco suggested, in his lap was a sleeping Kalila.
“Forks is a good place. They have a high school there. You three could pose as transferee students.” Griphook glanced at the siblings who seem to didn’t have a problem with their plan. He made eye contact with Tom who seemed to also agree with the plan.
“Name your price, Griphook. And I shall give it.” Tom smirked.
-
“Too bad we won’t be able to see their reactions when Father comes and attacks this damned place.” Cassi huffed, zipping up her bag. She had already packed most of her belongings, which wasn’t a lot. Cassi refused to bring Dudley’s smelly, old, and torn up clothes and belongings with her to their move.
“At least there will be no more Dumbledore hovering over us, watching our every move.” Hadrian sighed, closing up his bag. He can’t believe that they were finally escaping this place. A loud bang and multiple screamings interrupted his musings. The death eaters were here.
“Are you two done?” Draco asked, standing up from the bed. He looked around the room to see if they have forgotten anything of value. The twins nodded at him.
Draco cast a shrinking spell on their bags including the one bag which contained their fake ids, passports, money, and the key to the house they were moving into once they arrive in Forks. He then gave their respective bags and watched as it was shoved in their pockets.
“We must hurry or we will miss the flight!” Cassi shrieked. The siblings got out of the dorm and was greeted by their Father.
“Go now, activate the port key, and get out of here.” He instructed his children, looking at the pendant Cassi was wearing.
“But what about you Father?” Draco asked. He was worried for his father. What if the plan fails and Dumbledore catches them?
“Hush little Dragon, you don’t trust your father? I will see you later. But for now, I shall terrorize this place.” Tom reassured them as if he could read their thoughts. The portkey was already activated and was only waiting for the travelers to touch it.
Footsteps could be heard and they must go now if they don’t want to be caught.
“Go now!” Tom ordered, looking at his three children for the last time before they disappeared with a pop.
He was now alone, staring at the spot his children had occupied before they left.
-
“It’s raining.” Hadrian stated, looking at the window from his seat. His breath fogged at the wet airplane window. It was starting to get cold so he snuggled in deeper the blanket that was provided on the plane. They were almost landing at where they were staying, Forks, Washington.
The siblings were supposed to just portkey directly to their house in Forks but it might bring in more unwanted attention from the locals. So, they decided to do it the ‘muggle way’. Hadrian, Cassi, and Draco had never got on an airplane before, let alone be in first class. Their father was really spoiling them.
“It is. Do you have your jacket?” Draco asked from behind. To fit in more with the muggles, they changed from their traditional Hogwarts robes to clothes that were trendy for non-magical beings.
Out of all the siblings, Cassi was the one who was most updated in fashion so she was the one who chose their outfits.
Draco was wearing a green and white long-sleeved collared sweatshirt partnered with black pants and white sneakers while Cassi wore a frilly white tank top layered with a velvet purple jacket. Her bottoms were black denim pants and black high-cut converse.
The youngest among the siblings, Hadrian, was wearing a white shirt with a dark blue vest partnered with black cargo pants and white sneakers.
“I have it. He almost left it in the washroom.” Cassi huffed, handing the jacket over to her twin.
“What would I do without you, my dear sister?” Hadrian mused with a teasing smile.
“Die, you idiot.” Cassi rolled her eyes, making Hadrian giggle.
“Passengers, please fasten your seat belts as we are almost landing in Forks.” The flight attendant’s voice boomed throughout the airplane. Earlier before leaving Hogwarts, his worries were eating him up. So many what if’s and bad scenarios in his head.
But all of those went to the drain when their father reassured them that everything will be alright.
‘So that’s how it feels to have a parent.’
Now, Hadrian was ecstatic. He couldn’t believe how his life has drastically change in a span of a few days. They found their father and little sister and were in Forks, starting a new life away from the manipulative headmaster. He doesn’t mind posing as a high school student anyways.
He had always wondered what his life would be if they weren’t wizards or saviors with big ass responsibilities but just normal teenagers.
Hadrian hopes that their life in Forks will not be too drastic. Surely nothing grand happens in that small town, right?
-
“He’s coming!” Alice sang, excitement buzzing off her lithe frame. The new member of their coven and the twins’ mate was finally here, in Forks. She couldn’t wait to meet the adorable green-eyed boy. Her visions had shown that they will be great friends.
“He is? Right now?” George voiced out to his pixie-like sister who nodded at him with so much enthusiasm.
To say George was nervous was an understatement. He had waited years and years for his special little one and tomorrow he was finally going to meet his other half, his mate.
George thought Fred should be here with him but he was with Bella. He dismissed the thought and listened to the conversation. He won’t ruin his good mood with the thought of the two.
“When will we meet him, Alice?” Esme asked, her eyes finally laying off the recipe book she was reading. The mother of the coven was preparing her cooking skills for her youngest sons’ human mate.
Sure, she did this with Bella but she won’t now as it is clear she won’t be a part of their family.
“He’ll be going to our High School with his siblings.”
“How will we change him if he has siblings?” Rosalie shrieked. That would be one of the problems when they’ll change the human. If the siblings find out, they’ll be exposing the existence of vampires.
The Volturi wouldn’t be happy if this happens.
“We’ll orchestrate something, honey. Calm down.” Emmet reassured her, hugging his beautiful wife from behind.
“We’ll talk to Carlisle about this once he gets home,” Edward said as he stood up from the stool of his piano.
“You’ll like him, Rose, and you too Jasper. ” Alice stated, glancing at the blondes. Rosalie rolled her eyes, there was no way she was going to like the mortal. Edward snickered at the blonde’s thoughts.
While Jasper was worrying, what if he slips up and drains the mortal?
“You won’t Jaz.” Alice reassured her as if she could read her mate’s thoughts and worries. Jasper tried to smile. He’ll do his best for his little brothers’ mate.
“Do you think he’ll like Italiano?” Esme questioned breaking the short silence as she made her way to the kitchen to practice cooking.
“I have a feeling he will do, Mom. Come on, I’ll help you.” George said, which made Esme smile.
