James decided to ask out Lily again. He isn't even going to be surprised if she decides to say no.

"If she says no, I'm rioting." Sirius said, dramatically.

"Shut up, Pads. It's her decision. If she decides to say no, again, then no. I'm not going to stop from asking though." He said, defensively but his tone got slightly obnoxious towards the end.

"Isn't your crush on her getting a bit," Remus pauses, "Crazy." He added, almost whispering.

Sirius sucked his teeth. "I agree, James." He said, voice straining.

James rolled his eyes. Sirius was way too biased when it comes to Remus but the besides the point. He's absolutely sure his crush on her is getting out of line, which is why he isn't going to do something too over the top. It's a very simple thing. So simple in fact, he's just going to ask her out like a normal person would.

Lily was walking along the hallways. James shifted slowly towards her.

"Hello, beautiful." He said, sing-songy.

James saw a smile tug on the corner of his lips. "Hello, Potter." She greeted, fighting a smile.

James frowned at the last name drop. "I wanted to ask you something."

"Asking me to a date?" She said.

"Hogsmeade visit tomorrow. Join me?"

Lily grinned. "Wouldn't hurt anyone. Sure."

James frowned, disappointed. "Come on, Evans, ple— Wait, yes? It's a date?"

She grinned widely. James loves that smile so much. "Course, see you tomorrow."

She walked away, still grinning. James hopped away happily like a little girl.

"She said yes?" Remus asked in disbelief. "Wow, congrats."

"I knew you could do it, Prongs!" Sirius exclaimed. "Now if you don't mind, I will pick out your outfits." He said shuffling past Remus.

James gasped. "Padfoot! You will not dress me!" He yelled, chasing Sirius quickly.

"You'll thank me tomorrow, Prongs!"

James sighed. He actually didn't mind Sirius dressing him, considering he dresses like a model. That was the reason Remus fell for him.

Sirius flatted out a nice outfit on their bed. The outfit looked a lot like Remus' clothes. Oh, cause they were.

"Wear this." Sirius said happily.

James grinned at the outfit. Reluctantly, he picked it up and tried it on.

"Viola!" He said, showing off the outfit on all sides.

"You look gorgeous!" Sirius exclaimed.

Remus' body shot upward. "Is that my sweater? You can't wear that."

James pouted asking, "Why not?"

"Because it's mine?"

"But, babe! Doesn't he look good in it?" Sirius yelled, sadly.

Remus sighed, rolling his eyes. "Better than I look?" He smirked, smugly.

Sirius grinned, "Course not. You look good in everything, babe. Compared to you, he's ugly." He swooned.

James clutched his chest dramatically, "First of all, PDA in the dormitory is banned. Second of all, how dare you?"

Sirius rolled his eyes, "You know I didn't mean it, Prongs." He whispered. "You look great."

James grinned widely at his friend's compliment. He turned to the mirror, checking his outfit out some more. "Hot piece of ass you are, Potter. Why thank you, Evans, you too." He recited to himself proudly.

James tried to fall asleep that night but he was far to excited to finally get a date with Lily.

James shot up from his bed, ready for his date.

"Hey, Prongs. Good morning." Peter greeted, walking out of the bathroom.

"Hey, Pete. Where were you yesterday?" He asked, picking out a towel to take a bath.

"Not important." Peter mumbled, drying his hair with his own towel. "Got a date?"

James nodded, grinning. "With Lily." He bragged.

Peter rose an eyebrow, smiling proudly. "Wow, good luck. Stay safe."

James smiled at his friend before walking into the bathroom. He took of his clothes walking in the shower. He turned on the faucet, letting the cold water slide down his back slowly.

He got dressed in front of the mirror, happily. So happily.

"Hey, Prongs. Goodluck. Babe, say goodbye to James." Sirius said, waking up Remus.

James didn't even notice Remus was sleeping in Sirius' bed. "PDA!" He yelled, running out of the room.

In all honesty, James was nervous, as if all self confidence left his body. He sighed heavily.

Lily was standing in the common room with a nice soft fluffly dress. She looked beautiful, red hair as elegant as roses (Smelled like roses, too.) and shoes that matched her fluffy dress.

"Ready?" She said, offering her hand to him.

He grinned widely as he accepted the offer. "You look beautiful, my lady. Not as beautiful as me of course." He remarked, smugly.

Lily smiled sweetly. "Don't be cocky, Potter."

They walk together to hogsmeade, hands interlocking each other. Lily's head was on James' shoulder while they were walking together.

They stopped at Honeydukes for some sweets. James found out that Lily was quite fond of licorice sticks, so he bought a load of packs of them. He also found out she doesn't like chocolate as much as he does but she still likes them so he bought some of that too, along with tons of candy bars and lollipops.

"Okay, Potter, that's enough. You're teeth is going to rot." She scolded him, snatching a lollipop out of his hand. "Let's go and pay for all of this."

And so he does. "No, no. I shall pay for this my lady." He said, sliding a few coins out of his pocket.

"Fine, but we should spilt what we buy in the next store." She gave in.

James sighed, paying the cashier. "Would it hurt if you let me pay? I asked you out."

Lily nodded. She refused to give in.

"Fine, but were not going to another shop." James sighed but his mouth was quickly forming into a grin. "We are going to sit at the lake eating all this sweets. And you can read your book. Yes, I know you have a book in your purse. Even on a date, you can't let a book go."

Lily smiled in agreement.

They walk towards the lake together with the sweets in a bag. Lily sat down on the trunk of the tree near the lake.

"So beautiful." James said, looking around the horizon before turning to Lily. "Not as beautiful as you though, Evans."

Lily's cheeks turn slightly red. "I love the lake, too bad I don't have swimwear with me."

James smirked, "Who says we need swimwear?"

Lily's cheeks grow bright red. She shook her head. "I'm not skinny dipping with you, Potter. Mabye on our next date." She shrugged.

James gaped at the 'next date'. "Oh? This isn't your last date with me?"

Lily smiles sweetly. "I like you, and I want to see to date you. But we've only been on one date."

James agreed. Everybody else he's been with always start with sex and never a date.

"Fair enough." He said, building into something. "Can I kiss you?"

Lily sat up on her elbows, leaning forward to close the gap between her and James. It was a small peck on the lips but it was sensational. Like James imagined.

"I like you too." He smiled

Lily smirked, "Oh? I didn't know." She rolled her eyes.

James' best date ever. He wasn't to excited to go back to the common room. He knew Sirius would be barateting him with a million questions.
