Letter Friend
Summary
Harry can’t dance. This fact is becoming quite prominent due to the upcoming Yule Ball. Maybe his new mysterious letter buddy help him out..?
Note
Hi! This is my first Hp fanfic so it may not be that good. I don’t support Jk Rowing.

The boy who lived was in a dilemma... how the hell do you dance?!

Okay, now while it may seem extreme, the Yule ball was arriving and he had no clue how one would even go about learning to dance. So now he's here, I'm the library hoping to something to teach him.

He would ask his friends but Hermione and Ron are mad at eachother and he's sure he'll never hear the end of it if he brings up the others name.

What he didn't know was someone had been watching him and seemed to notice his predicament.

If you asked Blaise why he was staring at the all-famous celebrity Potter he would probably deny the claim and change the topic, but here he was doing just that. He couldn't lie and say he wasn't curious of what was stressing the boy wonder.

Maybe he should go over? Nope, if he did Draco would surely be suspicious. He could send a letter? Sure that could work but what if he doesn't take it seriously. Or worse.. he could tell his stupid little friends and they could spill the would-be secret.

Oh well, maybe he just shouldn't act on his curiosity. It's not like he's friends with the boy.

Okay... maybe he couldn't deal with his curiosity. It's fine. Everything's
under control, this is what he wanted to happed (right?) So what if he had just sent his owl to deliver a letter to Potter?

Harry was.. confused to say the least. An owl had just flew through an open window and was now sitting with a neatly sealed letter around its leg.

He untied it, unrolled the sheet and read.

Dear Harry Potter,

While you may not recognize who you are receiving such a letter from, I couldn't help but notice something was on your mind. Before you get worried, I am not involved with the Dark Lord or anyone who may wish to harm you.

Perhaps you could reply and we could have conversations. I'm not ready to reveal myself yet but the idea of friendship with you is rather endearing.

I hope you don't mind me asking but if you feel comfortable sharing what has kept you do bothered may you do so? I may be able to help.

Sincerely, BZ

As he read over the mysterious letter he grabbed a quill and quickly wrote his response. He tied it around the birds legs and made his way to sleep.

Dear BZ,

I was rather surprised upon receiving you letter, and while I wish to know of your identity I also understand you would prefer to remain unknown for the time being.

I am however rather glad you have no relation to those who wish me harms way. The idea of a unknown letter-friend is quite intriguing. I will happily continue sending letters so long as you tell me hints or facts of yourself.

As for my discomfort, I am severely lacking the skill of dance. As obvious, the Yule ball is to arrive soon and I must attend as a participant in the Tri-Wizard Tournaments.

Sincerely HP
