(Name's POV)
I notice that my aunt and uncle were much smugger as the days go on. They must think I did not get the letter. That I was not a witch. Or that I was not good enough to be a witch. I was still treated like shit. But now they acted even better than me. I did not like that at all. I hated the fact. I wish I could learn how to curse them. On my birthday I decided to "treat" them to fresh pastries. Really I only did it so I could have a couple later in the night for my treat. There was a knock on the door and I go to answer to see a very large man. Almost like a giant.
"Who is it, girl?" I hear Vernon asks and I answer.
"Some really tall man." I say.
"May I come in?" He asks.
I nodded and let him in and Vernon and Petunia both freaked out. "Who the bloody hell are you!?" Vernon demands. "Why did you let him in girl!"
"Do not talk to her like that." He says and points an umbrella at him.
He then to prove a point did some sparks with his umbrella. I smile so it was real.
"Now onto business." He tells them and turns to me. "You have grown up a lot since I have seen you last, you were just a little babe back then. I dropped you off myself."
I nodded. "Who are you?" I ask him.
"Rubes Hagrid, keeper of keys at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft of Wizardly." He tells me and I smile.
I glance at my aunt and uncle who were glaring at him.
"But of course, you know everything about Hogwarts." He says and I shake my head.
"I only just heard about it a few weeks ago. When I open my letter in private."
"So no one told you, you are a witch? Not even your aunt, she came from a wizarding family!" Hagrid said and Petunia looks away.
"What?" I ask. "You told me my parents were drunks who died in a car crash!"
"A car crash!?" He demands. "A Car Crash Killed Lily and James Potter!?"
"I was born among those freaks the only normal one out of them, my perfect sister being the perfect one she was was a pureblood witch unlike me! My parents were so PROUD when she got her letter, glad she did not turn out like me! But I knew they were wrong. I am the normal one they are your filthy kind are nothing but freaks. Then she met that Potter and had you, and I knew you would turn out just as abnormal, just as much as a freak." Petunia says and I dug my hand into fists.
"You will not talk about her like that." Hagrid said towering over her. "She is not a freak and she will be learning to be a witch, under the watchful eye of the best headmaster Hogwarts has ever seen. Albus Dumbledore."
"She will not be going!" Vernons shouts. "I will not pay for some crockpot old fool teacher her magic tricks!"
That is suddenly when the Umbrella is pressed threateningly in his face. "Never. Insult Albus Dumbledore, in front of me." He threats him and then he zapped Duddly and he grew a tail out of his but a pigtail."
I laugh at that and they panicked. Serves Them Right.
Hagrid turned to me and looked at me, I could tell he saw the bruises. "Pack your things (Name), we will not let you stay here next year. Or at least we will try not to let it happen."
I nodded and packed all the things I wanted. The idea of never being here again. It made me happy.
