You were completely out of the wizarding world, you didn’t want to work or know anything about it for a while. Just get to live your life without worrying about anything but when you got that letter from Dumbledore, you raced back right to the castle that used to be your home for the best seven years of your life.
When you got there he wasn’t at his office but that’s okay since the letter contained everything you needed to know. Going to the stairs that are near the Great Hall you went down towards the dungeons, and straight to the Slytherin’s entrance. After you have said the password and going up the flight of stairs you entered the single bedded dorm and waiting inside for lunch to finish and to the boy to come up the stairs.
It wasn’t a long wait since it was nearly over, maybe you have waited for fifteen to twenty minutes before you heard the first movement downstairs. After another five minutes, he came in. He stood frozen once he noticed your presence.
“Hey” it came out ever so quiet and soft but it was all he needed to be broken from his haze. When he slammed against you it caused you to lose your balance for a second or two but that didn’t matter what mattered was that he was in your arms again, finally, after few years of not being able to contact each other, he was back in your arms. He had missed you so much, he thought you must have forgotten him or didn’t care anymore, but that’s not true at all because he was all that you thought about when you were away.
“I have missed you pup, so much that I was willing to go back there just to see you” it was true, so many nights while your sat down on your couch where you thought about going to that vile place just to take him or to just see his face again for one minute and that would have been more than enough but you couldn’t. You wished if you were able to take him with you but you didn’t have enough money for both of you nor did you have a stable life. But now you do, you have enough money and a stable job that gives you more than enough for the both of you. You wish that you have gotten to him sooner before he fell this deep in. But at least your here now is what you remind your self that your here and he is here and now both of you could a try at living a normal life with no pain or torture, maybe some happiness too, you just want both of you to get away from all the cruelty you had seen growing up in the manor.
“Can I see it? the mark I mean” when you didn’t hear a response you looked at his face to see a hesitation coating his eyes. Moving your hand gently towards his left forearm in a manner that wouldn’t startle him. Pulling the sleeve up, you stared the horrible mark of the dark lord, the one who robbed the young boy’s childhood.
“Oh my, I thought I thought it wasn’t true. Oh, dear am so sorry that you had to go through that! I promise you that from now on you will not have to worry about a thing! Could you pack everything that is important to you and a change of cloth that’s worth a few days?” He was definitely puzzled by your request but done it nevertheless. After noticing his confusion you explained your actions. “Am taking you with me where no one from the dark army would be able to find us and can live a free happy life we both deserve”
“But what about the task? you must know what he tasked me with I can’t just leave he will hunt us down!”
“He won’t be able to find us, just like they weren’t able to track me down after you know” Oh how could either of you forget the reason why you left? There was no way, both of you will always remember that night with the fight that made its way between you and your parents. you were fighting for your right and what you know is the right thing to do, after all, you didn’t believe in their beliefs. You were the black sheep of your family ever since you were born, you were different. Your father had hope that maybe after you get older that you will turn out just like he wanted you to be but oh boy did you prove him wrong, you got sorted into Hufflepuff for your trustworthiness, loyalty, and a strong work ethic.
You often find your self wondering why you weren’t sorted into Gryffindor since you had all their traits and it was more prominent. you were brave and courage, you liked to take risks and stand up for your self yet also stand up for others that couldn’t stand up for themselves, maybe that was the reason why you were in Hufflepuff.
Your parents wanted you to go off and marry some death eater’s son, you would have agreed if he had a good personality, yet he didn’t have an ounce of respect to others that are around him. you could let yourself be in a marriage that’s exactly like your parents, no love present and kids that resent you and their own father, you just couldn’t find it on yourself watch your life get turned into a black and white picture where you could find a dot of happiness or love. So your parents decided that you weren’t worthy of their status and money, basically disowning you and removing you from the family tree.
After the young man took what was important to him, which wasn’t much, both you and he left while no one noticed you, leaving the room look like he was just going to come back since his stuff was there, even though he wouldn’t come back, making it look like he disappeared from the face of the earth.
“I promise you Draco, you will live a happy life away from all that stuff and won’t have to worry about a thing, you and I just living in complete pure bliss.”
