Harry Potter and the Reveal of Mysteries
Summary
What if Harry Potter wasn't an actual Potter? What if things had a small change? What if Lily or should I say Lilianith was a bit smarter? And this led to the unexpected whirlpool of differences in Harry Potters life. But what Harry Potter wasn't real?OR:Lily was forced into a marriage with James while she loved another man and disguised her child as James' child, Harry. But things will soon be revealed.—I’m currently rewriting this fic since it been so long and it will b posted separately as a fresh start. I’m not sure if I should mark this as discontinued, but I may come back to it at some point in order to finish it.
Note
Hello! This isn't the first fanfic I've written, but it's the best one I've written and one I've put effort into. I really hope people like it since I really enjoyed writing it. Here some notes and background notes.-Harry has a different father + different name-There is Hogwarts Academy for years 1-7 (ages 11-17) and Hogwarts University for years 8-12 (ages 18-22)SPOILERS -Lily's name is Lilianith-Reason for this is that her parents died in the first magical war and she was put in a muggle adoption center instead of a magical one, she is also a pureblood Anyways, I'm not a good writer but enjoy the first chapter!

Lucius and Draco Malfoy

“And who might you be?” the younger blonde asked, a hint of a snarl on his prestigious features.

“Are you talking to me?” the other young man asked.

“Of course you, who else would I be talking to. It’s not like that creepy old wandmaker is here so help me get a new wand.” The younger said, shooting a glare at the newly proclaimed heir.

“I’m sorry, but I don’t work here.” Haruki tried to defend himself.

“Then why did you come out of that room that no one ever uses? You must work here, don’t try to lie to my face.” the blonde spat.

“I was also getting a wand. I tried out these wands,” Haruki gestured to the boxes lining the walls, “but none of them connected with my magic, so Olivander-”

“The creepy old man.”

“-brought me to the back to make me one,” Haruki explained, not too fond of the way the blonde interrupted him. “So I’d appreciate it if you didn’t treat me as if I was lower than you. I haven’t even gotten your name, not very nice for someone who looks like a pureblood.” Haruki said, knowing he struck a nerve with his comment.

“Well if you must know,” the boy snarled, “my name is Draco Malfoy, of the most ancient and most noble house of Malfoy.” the newly recognized Draco said, upturning his nose at Haruki. “And who are you then Mudblood?” Draco insulted, unveiled aggression in his eyes.

“Haruki Shiroiya, and I am also a pureblood if you must know. I thought purebloods were supposed to recognize others, though I guess Britain has been lacking in knowing the houses of other countries.” Haruki introduced, taking the opportunity to take a jab at Draco’s knowledge of the world.

“Well, then what house do you belong to if you are a pureblood then? Assuming you aren’t lying.” Draco said, spitting an insult back.

Haruki contemplated answering the question, not sure if he should reveal himself so soon. He decided that he would, it would give him more authority to have a prestigious house on his side in the future right? “I belong to multiple houses. My family has married to the most powerful houses in Russia and Japan, though along those lines, we have incorporated many powerful people who caught our eye. I belong mainly to the most ancient and extravagant house of Shiroiya.” Haruki said. He caught the way the older blonde's eyes flashed in recognition.

“I’ve never heard of that house you filthy Mud-” Draco started until he felt a hand grasp his shoulder. “What?” he turned to his father but closed his mouth when he saw the look of disappointment and anger in his eyes.

The man turned his eyes away from Draco in order to face Haruki. “It is a pleasure to meet you, Lord Shiroiya. I am Lucius Malfoy, head of the most ancient and noble house of Malfoy, and the father of Draco.” Lucius greeted. “I apologise on behalf of my son, and I hope that he didn’t offend you, he wasn’t aware of your status.”

“It is alright. I don’t expect someone to know everything.” Haruki reassured, flashing a blinding white smile.

At that moment, Olivander walked out of the room. “Ah, Shiroiya, you’re still here?” Olivander questioned nervously. “And Lord and Heir Malfoy, how lovely to see you,” Olivander said. “Is Draco here for his second wand for University?” The old man got a nod in response from the elder Malfoy. “Lovely. Well, let’s start then.” Olivander said, going to the walls to pull boxes.

“Well, I’ll see you around Olivander,” Haruki said as he walked out of the shop.

“Goodbye P- Shiroiya,” Olivander responded, almost slipping up.

30 minutes later

“Aunt Petunia, I’m home,” Haruki said as he took off his shoes at the door.

“Welcome back hun.” Petunia said as she came out of the kitchen wearing an apron over her pink blouse and jeans. “How was your shopping? Did it go alright?” She asked.

“It went well. I got books, a trunk, a wand and- oh no! I forgot to get potion supplies! And robes!” Haruki said in despair.

“Don't worry dear, you can go back tomorrow.” Petunia suggested a small smile on her face.

“I guess,” Haruki said dejectedly, “thanks. I’m going to put all my stuff upstairs then.” Haruki said as he trudged up the stairs.

“Alright,” Petunia called after him.

Haruki made it to the top of the stairs and made his way to his room. “Ruki!” a familiar voice screeched. Haruki was then tackled by his bear of a cousin Dudley.

“Hey Duds,” Haruki said as he patted the shoulder-length mop of blonde hair. “How you doin’?” Haruki asked.

“It was boring without you here,” Dudley replied. He had grown up more since he was a child considering he was also now 18. He filled out more, but instead of fat, it was muscle, purely muscle. He grew out his hair and actually took care of himself. He took after Haruki’s example of putting on some muscle though he did push it to the point of being jacked. No wonder he was on his football team. “I beat a level of my game today actually, and I got around to cleaning my room. Where were you all day?” The blonde questioned.

“I was getting my stuff for University,” Haruki said.

“University!? Why didn’t you take me with you?” Dudley complained. “I need to get my materials too. I need to make a good impression on Oxford.” Haruki had been tutoring Dudley since they were little, and now Dudley was a genius just like his little cousin.

“That’s because I’m going to a different University, and no it’s not Harvard or something. I’m going to a magical school.” Haruki explained with an eye roll.

“Magical?” Dudley asked. “So you’re going to become a magician? Learn how to do magic tricks?” Dudley snickered.

Haruki shot him a glare. “No, I’m not. Remember when we were little and you said you wanted your hair to be blue? And then it was suddenly blue? That was me. I can do magic Dudley, didn’t aunt Petunia tell you?” Haruki said in mock confusion.

“Huh!? You can actually do magic!? And mom knew!?” Dudley said in blasphemy. “Jesus Christ, why didn’t you tell me Ruki?” Dudley said, dramatically sniffling.

“Well, you never asked.” Haruki said, turning away from his cousin and making his way to his room, “ I have stuff to look through.”

As Haruki closed the door, he could hear “Oi! Come back here you little-”
