The room was quiet except for occasional chuckles from Sirius and James. Remus was concentrated on his book just like you were, and Peter was occupied doing his potions homework just like the other Marauders were supposed to, so you had no idea why they kept laughing, because the homework surely was nothing to laugh about. Luckily you already did it a few days ago together with Remus so you both could relax now while the other three kept complaining about it.
"Ugh why is this so hard? Remus, Y/N please can't we just copy your homework? I swear I'll rewrite it," Sirius begged.
"Definitely not. Do I have to remind you what happened last time I let you copy something from me Mr. Black?" You answered which caused Sirius to groan and let his head fall into his pillow.
They continued their homework for another thirty minutes until James looked up to the window and saw the heavy raindrops that fell on it. He immediately jumped up which caused you and Remus to flinch slightly.
"Look guys it's raining! Let's go outside!" He exclaimed excitedly and pulled you off the bed.
"James let go off me," you giggled when he picked you up, "you still have to finish your homework."
"I can do that after we went outside," he answered but you all knew it was a lie and he would just bother Lily until she gave him her homework to copy. But instead of arguing you let him carry you down the stairs until he complained that you were too heavy, which made you punch his arm, and put you down. Sirius and Peter were close to follow but your eyes kept searching for the tall boy.
"Where's Remus?" You asked but the others just shrugged.
"I guess still upstairs reading," Peter answered.
"Alright I'll go get him. You can go we'll catch up," you stated and made your way upstairs again while the boys started to run towards exit.
You knocked carefully on the boys dorm before entering. Just like Peter said Remus was still in the same position on the bed reading his book. He didn't even bother to look up at who just entered the room until you cleared your throat.
"We're going outside," you said.
"Great," he responded and his attention returned to the book.
You rolled your eyes and made your way over to his bed to sit next to him. He finally put his book down and looked up at you.
"And you're coming with you."
"Why should I? It's raining outside," he stated and crossed his arms.
"That's the point Remus come on it's gonna be fun," you whined but he just shook his head.
"This is my favourite sweater no way I'm gonna make it wet on purpose."
"All your sweaters look the same," you said and he frowned at you.
"How dare you," he whispered and then suddenly shot up to tickle you. It caught you off guard so you fell off the bed but that didn't bother him he just continued to tickle you.
"Okay okay stop," you cried out.
"Why should I?" he questioned slightly out of breath.
"Because otherwise I'll eat all of your chocolate," you answered and he stopped, looking at you as if you were a madman.
"You wouldn't."
"Oh I so would," you grinned.
"I can't believe we're friends."
"Well I wouldn't do it if you would come outside with me," you offered and he chuckled.
"You're really not gonna let me stay up here are you?"
"Nope. Now let's go Remmy," you said and he looked at you in disgust.
"Don't call me that."
"Remmy. Remmy. Remmy. Remmy. Remmy," you stood up and quickly ran away luckily Remus chased you downstairs until you were outside and he finally caught you. He carried you on his shoulder until you reached the other boys who were already completely drenched.
"I see you covinced him took you long enough," Sirius said with a grin.
"Well it was hard work."
You all laughed and started to stupidly run around. This is one of the best parts about being friends with the boys they'll never say that someting is too childish to do. So you spend an hour outside in the rain just chasing each other and standing in the rain. No other student or teacher was insane enough to be outside because the rain started pouring so strong that you couldn't see further than twenty meters.
"I think I'm going inside," Remus screamed over the rain and you nodded in agreement.
"Yeah me too," you said.
"No come on just a bit longer," James begged like a little child.
"No way James. If you stay any longer you'll catch a cold also you still have to finish your homework," they all groaned at the word homework and you made your way back inside.
You made a quick stop at your dorm to bring some dry clothes but didn't bother to dress there because you tried to spend as little time as possible with your roomates. They are horrible but luckily you found good friends in the four stupid boys that you met on the train.
Back at their dorm Peter handed you a towel and you took it gratefully. After a small fight about who would get to go into the bathroom first to dress you all agreed that you were the one needing it the most since the boys had seen each other naked several times. It took you about twenty minutes until you were completely dry, had your fresh clothes on and you hair was acceptly dry so that you could put it into a messy bun.
When you entered the room again the boys were already dressed and doing what they did before except for Remus who now also snacked on some chocolate. You popped down next to Peter who gave you a quick smile before returning to his homework.
Sirius looked up to you but his gaze lowered to your neck, at first you were confused but then you realized what he just spotted. There was no way you could hide that now, so you thought of the only other way to escape this situation, run.
"Well guys I really have to go now because you know I got this thing with Lily and uh yea bye," you said quickly and jumped up but Sirius stood up and of course his bed was closer to the door than Peter's so he blocked the door.
"You're not going anywhere," he stated calmly. His voice scared you and the other boys looked up.
"Let her go Pads, Merlin I didn't know you had such a big crush on her," James joked but Sirius didn't laugh he didn't even smile or smirk he just kept his eyes on you.
"Turn around let the guys see what I saw," Sirius said but you shook your head. Now you both had the full attention of the other boys even Remus put his book and chocolate down.
"Sirius please don't do this," you whishpered but he didn't budge one bit.
"What is he talking about Y/N?" Peter asked but you still had your back to them.
Sirius took a step towards you and then another one and one more until he was staying right in front of you. He grabbed your arms tightly and pain shot through your body. His hands putting pressure on two new bruises your boyfriend gave you recently because you spend too much time with the Marauders in his eyes.
He turned you around and you tried to escape his grip but he was too strong. He held you close against his body, so that you couldn't move. When you faced the boys they looked at your scared face and their face was full of worry and anger because they didn't know why Sirius would do that. But then the bruise on your throat caught their eyes. It was the form of a hand and a dark purple which meant this happened just a few days ago.
"Y/N what happened on your throat?" Remus asked slowly but you didn't answer.
Sirius grabbed your arms and pulled up your sleeves to reveal two bruises on your wrists again in the form of hands and two other bruises on each side of your arms.
"Who was it?" Sirius asked angryly
"No one I just fell it's no big deal okay?" You said but the boys just stared at you.
"Don't lie, who did it?" Peter questioned.
"Was it Y/B/N?" Sirius asked and your breathing started to speed up at his name. A tear slipped out of your left eye and you quickly wiped it away but they all saw it. Sirius finally let go off you and stepped in front of you. Your body was paralyzed you couldn't move.
"Hey Y/N it's okay we won't hurt you. We wouldn't. Not ever. But you have to tell us who it was so we can protect you," He talked calmly and took your face in his hand slowly stroking your cheeks.
You still couldn't move or talk or even make noise you just stared at Sirius with teary eyes.
"Was it Y/B/N?" He asked again and it took a few moments until you could answer but then you nodded and you let out a shaky breath. All of them stood up at once and started walking towards the door. But before they could walk away you grabbed Sirius's wrist and immediately stopped to know what's wrong.
"Don't hurt him," you whispered and Sirius frowned.
"What? Why not? Look at what he's done to you," he said angryly.
"Please don't hurt him Sirius," you begged and finally the tears started to fall.
"Hey hey it's okay we won't hurt him okay?" He whispered while pulling you into a tight hug.
He lead you both to one of the beds and laid down while still hugging you. His one hand slowly stroked your hair while the other rubbed circles on your back.
"We just want to protect you darling," he said quietly. The other boys sat around you at nodded at his statement.
After several minutes you finally stopped sobbing and slowly sat up. You eyes were red and swollen from the crying but none of you cared.
"Please tell me you're going to break up with him," James said.
"I already did. Yesterday after he said bad things about you," there was a small smile on the face of the boys.
"Chocolate? It'll make you feel better," Remus stated and gave you a bar. You nodded and took it gratefully.
"You still have to finish your homework it's due tomorrow," you said with a grin which made all of them laugh.
