Akutagawa & Chuuya w/Dazai and Atsushi witnessing
You’d think that after everything, with Fyodor and the Decay of Angels being dealt with, things would calm down in Yokohama. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. Sure they’d had a couple weeks where there were no immediate threats but for the Armed Detective Agency and Port Mafia, that meant catching up on work after the hectic few months they’d had and for everyone else it meant dealing with the aftermath of Fukuchi and the Decay of Angels’ plan. And now, this. A new group of Ability users from the UK called The Illusionists. Yes, all of them but one had Abilities related to Illusions, and yes there had been judgment based on the name, mocking comments about creativity, but, regardless of the name, they were proving to be quite the nuisance. They’d managed to kill quite a few low level Port Mafia members and had recently shown signs of targeting the Armed Detective Agency. What was worse was that they had someone with a nullifying Ability. It wasn’t as strong or effective of Dazai’s but it was enough to cause a problem.
It was ultimately decided that the last thing Yokohama needed right now was another massive war between Ability users, so Mori had reached out to Fukuzawa and requested for Dazai to work with Chuuya once more and dispose of the threat before it got too large. Dazai had agreed but only if Atsushi and Akutagawa came too. This would be a great opportunity for them to work together without the fate of Yokohama being at stake. He considered bringing Kyouka too but she’d been paired up for a job with Kenji. Involving information gathering.
That brings us to now, Chuuya, Akutagawa, Dazai and Atsushi were at The Illusionists’ hideout, Dazai had already goaded Chuuya and taunted Akutagawa, and Akutagawa and Atsushi had exchanged insults and now it was game time. Dazai had given the plan, Atsushi and Akutagawa infiltrating the base and attacking, pushing them out, where Dazai and Chuuya would be waiting for them. It was a simple plan, but one that meant Atsushi and Akutagawa would have to work together. Both had attempted to protest, but it had fallen on death ears.
Somehow, even with a simple plan, something had gone wrong. After leaving their respective mentors, Atsushi and Akutagawa had started arguing, and it had drawn the attention of The Illusionists. That had been fine, they’d pulled themselves together enough to attack, but they’d lost the element of surprise they might’ve had. They managed to drive the Ability Users out of their hideout, and then they’d started arguing again about the plan. It had been a split second where Akutagawa lost focus, but that was enough for Nullifier to get close enough to touch him. At least they would’ve, if it wasn’t for the bullet thet embedded itself in their hand followed by another shot to their stomach. Akutagawa looked, wide-eyed at his saviour, Dazai. He couldn’t decide if he was thankful, annoyed or embarrassed at being saved by Dazai. Quickly Akutagawa refocused but he could see Chuuya frowning at him from the corner of his eye. Great, just great, now he’d have to talk about this with Chuuya once they got back to the Port Mafia building.
At least that’s what he thought, until they’d taken out The Illusionists. Chuuya didn’t waste a second before he turned towards Akutagawa and stormed towards him. “What the fuck was that, huh?!” Chuuya demanded, scowling. Akutagawa stopped himself from backing away, he couldn’t show such weakness in front of Dazai and the weretiger, but it was a near thing. It wasn’t that he was afraid of Chuuya, not really, he knew the man would never take things too far, it was just a reflex. There were very few people who would mess with an angry Chuuya. Unfortunately one of those few people was here.
“Oooh- Akutagawa’s in trouble” Dazai chimed childishly, voice coming out in a sing-song tone. Chuuya glared back at him, and he held his hands up as if in surrender but the amused look never left his face. Akutagawa, on the other hand, barely held back a gulp. It was true and he knew it. Worst of all he knew what his most likely punishment, but surely he wouldn’t do that here? In front of the weretiger and Dazai? Not that it would be a new sight for Dazai. Hell, in the past it had been Dazai’s knee he was over. But in front of the weretiger? No, he couldn’t let that happen. He schooled his face into its usual angry expression and buried the nervousness bubbling up in his stomach.
“what ever are you talking about?” he knew it was the wrong thing to say but he couldn’t admit he’d been distracted. They’d had that conversation before.
“Shitty Dazai having to save you from his knockoff version. Don’t play dumb with me.” Akutagawa held back a flinch, he’d just made him angrier.
“aww, slug, so mean to me,” Dazai whined , throwing himself forward and draping himself over Chuuya’s back, who quickly tried to throw him off but he was clinging tightly. By the time he knocked Dazai off his band sent him a glare, Akutagawa was sure he was going to get it harder because of Dazai’s actions. Instead Chuuya took a breath and loosened his shoulders, visibly calming down. Atsushi was watching all three of them looking beyond confused.
“Akutagawa, do you want to tell me why exactly shitty Dazai had to save you?” even though it was phrased of a question, Akutagawa knew he didn’t really have a choice, but he wouldn’t say it. He clenched his fists and glared, refusing to speak. “You were distracted again, weren’t you? And you let your emotions get the best of you. You lost focus.”
Akutagawa huffed, “nothing happened, I’m fine.”
“yes, this time. Next time you might not be so lucky. How many times do we have to go through this? Have this same conversation?” Chuuya’s voice was stern now. Akutagawa couldn’t stop the blush rising to his cheeks. He always hated these lectures, they never failed to make him feel like a child, even more so with the punishment that followed. He couldn’t help but glance past Chuuya at Atsushi, making sure it looked like a glare. Atsushi was biting his lip, for some reason looking nervous, and clenching his fists as if he was holding himself back. He also kept glancing towards Dazai, as if he was unsure. Dazai himself didn’t seem to notice, simply watching with his usual smugly amused smile. God, everything about this sucked.
“you’re not even listening to me now,” he heard Chuuya grumble out, and before he could refute that, Chuuya continued. “Fine I’ll just have to make sure it so you can’t ignore me.” Chuuya grabbed his arm and started to lead him towards a nearby crate.
“I am listening,” Akutagawa grumbled, trying to free his arm. His attempts were futile. Chuuya moved the crate so he could sit on it and pulled Akutagawa over his knee. Akutagawa fought against him but still found himself bent over Chuuya’s knee. He blushed and looked at Atsushi once more, only to see him blushing and looking away. Dazai had seemingly followed them. He still kept his distance but he was still standing closer than Atsushi, who seemingly couldn’t meet his eyes. Well good, he didn't want the weretiger seeing him in such a pitiful position anyway.
SMACK! SMACK! SMAcK! SMACK!
The first round of firm spanks landed, causing him to grit his teeth to hold back his grunts of time. He may be getting spanked but he refused to let the weretiger see the effect such a humiliating punishment had on him. He’d take this spanking as stoically as possible.
SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!
“you know this really takes me back, seeing little Akutagawa like this,” Dazai mentioned. Akutagawa held back a groan as he realised what he was doing. Sure it may seem like a flippant off hand comment, reminiscing on old times, but Akutagawa knew its true purpose was to embarrass him further, subtly letting Atsushi know this wasn’t his first spanking. It was also a common part of his old spankings from Dazai. Dazai never spanked as hard as Chuuya but he spoke more during the spanking, taunting him and embarrassing him. Akutagawa didn’t know which was worse, Chuuya’s firm spankings or Dazai’s humiliation-focused ones. But this one, feeling Chuuya’s firm spanks, hearing Dazai mock him, and knowing Atsushi could see, this may just be the worst spanking he’d ever received and it had only just begun.
SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!
Akutagawa was still trying to escape the spanks and couldn’t help but kick his legs slightly. No matter how many times he’d gotten spanked, it never truly stopped hurting. Though he could admit that perhaps it hurt his pride more than him physically.
SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!
Akutagawa sensed movement and turned to look, only to see the Atsushi had moved closer, seemingly without realising it. He looked shocked, as if he couldn’t believe what he was seeing.
“oh, Atsushi-kun, you came to get a better view,” Dazai guided Atsushi to a spot where he could see each spank land, Atsushi following absent-mindedly.
“Why?” Atsushi breathed quietly.
SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!
“Akutagawa has always been stubborn and this has always been the best way to get through to him,” Dazai explained. Akutagawa blushed at Dazai’s words. Before he could say anything, his black coat had been moved and his black pants pulled down to show his boxers. Atsushi gasped while Akutagawa fought harder than ever to escape.
“No! pull them back up! You can’t-“ Chuuya’s expression didn’t change as he delivered some slightly harder spanks.
SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!
“Now, are you ready to listen to me properly?” Chuuya demanded. SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!
Akutagawa grumbled something under his breath but ultimately nodded.
“I don’t care what reason you have. You can’t get distracted like this again,” Chuuya lectured. SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! “In our work, distractions get you killed!" SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! "I refuse to let you keep doing this. I refuse to see you get hurt or die because you got distracted or you let your emotions get the best of you.” SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! “I will get through to you one way or another.”
Chuuya paused for a second, only to pull his boxers down, baring his butt. The next series of spanks landed on his sit spots and thighs. SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!
“I hope you’re listening Atsushi-kun. This all goes for you too.” Dazai chirped, but his face was deadly serious. Atsushi jumped and whipped his head to look at him. “if you get distracted or let your emotions get the better of you, especially during a deadly situation, you can expect to get this same punishment.”
Atsushi blushed but reluctantly nodded. He didn’t like the idea that one day Dazai might spank him but he understood how dangerous this job was. Any distractions wouldn’t just endanger him but whoever he was working with too. “it won’t come to that,” he decided.
“I hope not, but I suppose we’ll see,” Dazai allowed.
Meanwhile the burn of the spanking was continuing to build and Akutagawa couldn’t help but grunt and groan and hiss in pain, tears spilling down his cheeks though he tried to hide it. “ouch! Okay, I get it -ow!- I won’t get distracted -ow!- on jobs anymore.” He gritted out
“good,” Chuuya praised, giving one last round of spanks before letting Akutagawa up. Akutagawa quickly pulled his pants and boxers up, wiping his eyes so no one would see the tears falling.
“Well, other than that, I’d say our work here is done,” Dazai declared before immediately teasing Chuuya about his spanking technique. The two soon started bickering and Akutagawa and Atsushi could’ve sworn Chuuya even threatened to spank Dazai next, who immediately started whining and calling him a brute.
Akutagawa and Atsushi followed behind, quieter than ever and avoiding eye contact with each other.
when Chuuya and Akutagawa got back to the Port Mafia, Akutagawa just wanted to forget everything that happened. practicing with Rashomon was usually good with that. so Akutagawa headed to one of the training rooms. He wasn't expecting Chuuya to follow him. between the humiliation of being spanked in front of people and the anger at Chuuya and himself, he couldn't help but glare at Chuuya. "Haven't you punished me enough?" Akutagawa demanded.
"I'm not going to punish you more," Chuuya sighed slightly. He'd had time to think on the way home and could admit that maybe he shouldn't have spanked Akutagawa in front of Atsushi and Dazai, but he could admit he hadn't been thinking clearly. he just kept thinking of what could've happened if the nullifier touched Akutagawa. Akutagawa could have gotten hurt or killed and that was all he could think about. he hadn't been angry at Akutagawa, not really. And even now, he knew that he wouldn't change what he did, except for one thing. "I know it was a bit unfair of me to spank you in front of Dazai and Atsushi. But I needed the message to get through to you. I won't apologize for that. But are you okay?" Chuuya asked. He hadn't checked on Akutagawa after the spanking. He'd been distracted by Dazai.
"I'm fine" Akutagawa grumbled. He wouldn't admit how embarrassed he felt but he wouldn't have to.
"It's okay to feel embarrassed, you know. It's supposed to be embarrassing. that's why it works. In our line of work, pain isn't uncommon, but we're rarely humiliated."
"How would you know?" Akutagawa scoffed.
"You're not the only mafia member that's been spanked. How do you think Dazai knew to do that? It was one of Mori's favourite punishments. It's why Dazai always emphasised humiliation over pain." It was only then he realised Alutagawa was staring at him in shock, he hadn't known that his mentor figures had been spanked too but he supposed it made sense. They were only two years older than him after all. "That's why I also know that after a particularly humiliating spanking, sometimes you need reassurance, comfort. Are you going to attack me if i get too close?"
Akutagawa shook his head. No matter how angry he was he'd never attack Chuuya, mainly because it would be pointless.
"Follow me," Chuuya directed and led him towards his office in the HQ. He sat on the chair behind his desk and patted his lap. Akutagawa hesitated.
"I'm not going to spank you again" Chuuya reassured as he grabbed some cooling cream from his desk drawer. Akutagawa still seemed hesitant, scowling at the thought of willingly bending over Chuuya's knee again, but he couldn't deny he'd always felt better the few times Chuuya had done this in the past. He always waited an hour or two after the spanking, so that Akutagawa could still feel the spanking, and then he'd recall him to his office and rub the cream in.
so it was with slight reluctance that Akutagawa pulled down his pants and boxers and bent over Chuuya's knee. Chuuya popped open the cream and poured some on his hand and started to rub it in.
"You know, for all Dazai likes to taunt you about your spankings, you take them much better than he ever did," Chuuya informed him. "Dazai always hated spankings, especially from Mori. they were the most effective punishment for Dazai."
Akutagawa scoffed, "I'm not surprised. He always said he hated pain."
"Yes, but more than that, it's the loss of control. Of course towards the end of his time here he managed to gain control over that too. But before that, he hated spankings because they were never part of his plan, never something he'd planned for. He hated that he wasn't in control more than anything."
For a few minutes Chuuya rubbed the cream into his butt until finally Akutagawa asked, "Did you have to spank me in front of the weretiger?" his tone was annoyed but the tips of his ears red and he refused eye contact, he was embarrassed.
"Yes, you weren't paying attention because you were too focused on him. If you're going to get distracted by him, you can be punished for it in front of him." Chuuya's voice was firm. "If me or Dazai messed up in a joint mission, we were spanked in front of the other. After all, getting distracted doesn't just put you at risk. It puts anyone you're working with at risk too."
"I suppose that makes sense," Akutagawa allowed, though he didn't sound too happy about it. Shortly after Chuuya let him up, and he left the office to go home.
