Arriving At Hogwarts
It seemed like it was just yesterday Newt was waving to his older brother through the train window.
But now, Newt was sitting next to his brother in the famous Hogwarts Express.
Newt Scamander wasnt a person to often get scared.
Nervous? All of the time.
But scared was a now thing.
Theseus had promised to keep him safe, but right now his older brother was focused on catching up with his friends.
Theseus had a lot of friends, hopefully he could hide in his brothers shadow like he had his whole childhood.
Theseus was outgoing, social and very brave.
And Newt.... well wasnt.
Meanwhile, Dumbledore was in a hurry to prepare for the new Hogwarts year.
He was cleaning up the DADA classroom.
While the the professor did enjoy the break, he missed teaching.
Looking at all the now dusty instruments and books, Albus remembered just how much he missed it.
He missed his students too, of course.
He missed watching them grow, aiding them in becoming the best versions of themselves.
Albus watched out of the window as the boats filled with first years swam across the lake. It was easily his favourite view ever.
Watching boats swim across the dark lake, the stars reflecting in the water as well as lanters on each boat glowing.
There was more then that to the sight of course.
After all, the best things arent seen with our two eyes.
The professor watched as the lights approached Hogwarts. Every boat carried its light, and it also carried so much potential.
