1. Master of Death

Disclaimer - (Cause fanfiction is tricky ground and I hope not to offend the creator of the original story and get sued)

I do not own "Harry Potter", it belongs to its original creator J.K. Rowling. THis story is also based off of Marvel's Cinema Universe, which belongs to the Walt Disney Company and Stan Lee. This is only a fanfiction, it is a piece of nonprofit work - that I was inspired to write by the original work. Please support the official release of "Harry Potter" and MCU. All of the characters come from the original works, a lot of the lines/text/scenes come from it as well. Most of the media - such as the art and illustrations, gifs, video's, etc. used in this fanfiction - are from the internet/web/online. To fit the story, images can/are also edited (usually by me) using various apps and websites. So these images aren't mine; just edited a lot of the time.

Also if you own a picture or Video that I found online, and you either want your name added, or me to take it down. Please contact me and we can talk it out. P.s. I do not give permission to copy (and/or translate) my fanfiction (/work - call it what you want) and publish it onto any other website.

Warings: DeathΒ Β―\_(ツ)_/Β―

Today's Special

"You are the true master of death, because the true master does not seek to run away from Death. He accepts that he must die, and understands that there are far, far worse things in the living world than dying."

~J.K. Rowling

Bruce opened his eyes to a bright light. His body felt like it was made up of lead.

Fighting the weakness that consumed his body, he sat up.

Looking around him, all he could see was a bright white. It looked like it went on for miles and miles.

"Where the hell am I?" He asked out loud, not expecting an answer.

"You're currently in what mortals call Leibro. Or a better description of this would be the asterial place between life and death." A voice spoke from behind Bruce.

Bruce spun around to see a man in a pitch black cloak answered. He had a long dark brown staff in his hand. Bruce stared closely at the staff for some reason it seemed familiar to him. But he just couldn't place it.

"The asterial place between life and death…" Bruce muttered. His head pounded, as he tried to process the information. And then it all came rushing back to him, Thanos, the Infinity Stones, and Toni. God was she ok. The last he'd seen her they had been fighting the people that came out of the large donut in the sky. The Children of Thanos, they had called themselves.

"Oh God. No. He won. He snapped his fingers!" Bruce shouted, jumping up, despite the fact that his legs felt like jelly.

"That he did." The man nodded.

"Wait, if this is supposed to be the place between life and death. Then did I die?" He asked.

"Yes you did."

"Then why am I the only one here? Who the hell are you?"

The man's hand came out of his sleeves, of his bones did at least. He waved it in the air, causing 2 chairs to appear out of nowhere. "You may want to sit down for this one."

Bruce was tempted to deny the man, but his weak body protested. So he reluctantly sat down.

"I am the personification of Death. And as for why you're the only one here. You should know the answer to that already. Shouldn't you, Harry James Potter. You are the Master of Death."

That's when it hit Bruce. The staff, it seemed to be made out of the same wood as the elder wand.

Bruce glared at the creature in front of him. "Don't call me that. My name is Bruce. Bruce Banner."

"That may be true. But that makes no difference to me. No matter what you call yourself. You are still the Master of Death." Death answered.

"So if I'm dead. Then why am I here?" Bruce asked, clasping his hands together.

"Because you aren't meant to die yet. The Infinity Stones may have killed you. Taken your life before it was time. But they have no power over Death. That is my domain. And since you are my Master. I refuse to allow you to die in such a way. This death wasn't worthy of you."

"Oh, and what do you intend to do about it?" Bruce asked, raising an eyebrow. Once someone died. They tend to stay dead.

"I intend to send you back in time. Back to when you were eleven. When you first got your letter. The hulk will also be there with you. I'm sure in your battles you realized that there is more to him and your relationship. I'm sure that you will have more than enough time to figure out how to get along." Death answered bluntly.

"Wait! Hold it! What if I don't want to go back in time! What if I just want to rest in peace!" Bruce yelled, not at all on board for Death's plan for him.

"Well then", Death answered "As my Master, you could simply order me not to do it."

Bruce liked the sound of that, but too bad for him. Death still had one more ace up his long sleeve.

"But, I feel as if I should tell you this. Many people died. Toni, she may be alive right now. But she won't live much longer. If you go back in time. You can prevent all this. You can save her." Death said, shooting his final arrow.

Bruce chuckled. "You're trying to manipulate me. Aren't you? Using my feelings to try and get what you want."

This pushed Death to the edge of his seat. This honestly wouldn't be the first time his Master had said no just to spite someone. To prove them wrong.

Bruce stood up, determination coursing through his vines, and his will showing clearly in his eyes. "Death. As your Master. I hereby order you to send me back in time."

Death smiled, "Then just snap your fingers. My Master."

I know this isn't exactly him getting snapped to the past, but I really wanted to do this. So don't come at me with comments saying he wasn't snapped to the past, during the snap.

But I kinda like to think of it as a nice contrast. Because in life, the infinity stones and their wielder hold all the power. But in death, it's Death and its master. So by having Bruce snap his fingers, it means that he is death's master and thus has power over Death, and death itself.

Another thing. Notice how when I write 'death' with a lowercase, I am usually referring to actually death. Like dying. But if it's uppercase, then I am referring to the personification of death. The reason I also say usually, is because if the word 'death' starts off a sentence. Then it will be capitalized either way. In that case, you'll just have to tell by the context.

I say this because you guys have seen nothing of death yet. Literally. All you guys saw was a robe and a skeleton hand.

I've also decided to change something up. There will only be mild Molly bashing. So for all you Molly lovers. Relax. There is hope. You'll understand why in a couple of chapters.
