Chapter Fifteen
Shoyo's
We just finished our 8th set for today, and I'm here at the bench with Kageyama leaning on me because of the exhaustion of the drills we made for losing the game.
"You okay, bakayama?" I asked worriedly.
"Hmm yea, Boke, just let me lean on you for a while," Kags said, I just nodded, and then, without thinking, I caressed his sweaty hair
"Hmm, what are you doing, Boke?" Kags asked, sleepily.
"Oh, sorry, it's just your hair looks so soft even if it's sweaty," I said, removing my hand from his hair, but he stopped me.
"No, don't, continue," Kags said, leaning more on my hand.
"All right," I said, continuing to play with his hair.
Tsukishima's
I was sitting beside Yams, who was drinking his water when I caught a glimpse of Hinata and Kageyama, and again I felt a pang of jealousy in my chest.
'I see the King is finally making his move' I thought, then let out a sigh. Even if I wanted to be close to Hinata like that, I wouldn't know what to do.
"You know Tsuki, if looks could kill Kageyama, he'd be dead by now," Yams said, pausing to laugh.
"Shut up, Yams, why don't you just leave me here and go to your boyfriend?" I said, rolling my eyes at him.
"Nah, I'd rather be here and see you getting jealous," he teased. I glared at him, but he just laughed at me.
"Whatever, anyway, tell the captain that I'll just lay there in the shade of the tree for a bit," I said, and he just nodded, so I lay under the tree for a quick nap, hoping to forget the jealousy I'm feeling.
Third person's
This is the last day of the camp, and the players are exhausted because of the games and punishments they're receiving.
In the gym, there's an ongoing game between the Inarizaki and Nekoma, with the Inarizaki on their set point.
"Aran-kun!" Atsumu shouted while setting the ball to Aran, who spiked it but was blocked by Kuroo, which was saved by Akagi, who sent the ball again to Atsumu.
"Samu!" Atsumu throws the ball to Osamu, and all of Nekoma's blockers rush at him, but Osamu throws it to the left, where Suna is waiting to spike it. Yaku desperately tries to save the ball, but he is too late. Inarizaki won the set.
"Yosh!" Atsumu and Osamu shouted in delight while the Nekoma prepared for their diving drills.
"Stop that Osamu, Atsumu, and get some rest," Kita said. The twins immediately obliged. Suna immediately lays in a corner to sleep, which receives a scolding from Kita, while the rest of the Inarizaki sit on the floor, sipping their water and wiping their sweat.
On the other court, the game just finished with Aoba Johsai winning against Johjenzi.
"Iwa-chan, I wanna go to Chibi-chan, but Tobio-chan is keeping him to himself," Oikawa whined. He just received a smack from Iwaizumi.
"Shut up, Shittykawa, stop your stupid whining, and get some rest," said Iwaizumi, who doesn't appear upset but is extremely jealous.
"But Iwa-chan 😭" Oikawa whined, pouting at his best friend.
"I said shut up, Shittykawa. Do you want me to spike a ball into your face so you shut up?" Iwaizumi asked, irritated; Oikawa just pouted and kept whining; their teammates didn't pay attention to him, minding their own business; Kunimi was with Kindaichi.
Kunimi appears to be about to fall asleep on the bench.
"Kunimi, change your clothes before dozing off there," Iwaizumi, the team mom, said as expected.
Outside the gym, there's also chaos brought to you by Tendou, who teamed up with Noya and Tanaka.
"Oh God, Noya, and Tanaka ISTG, if you both don't stop right this instant, I'll make you run 50 laps around this campus!" Daichi shouted, he was so stressed. Suga stood by his side, silently giggling at his boyfriend's situation.
"Suga, help me here. I think I'll go bald like Tanaka if they continue being like this," Daichi said, which earned a whiney "Hey" from Tanaka. Suga just laughed, then decided to help his boyfriend.
"Nishinoya, Tanaka, if you don't stop right now, you'll never see the sunlight again." Suga said with his most innocent but deadly smile, which brought shivers to Noya and Tanaka, who immediately stopped and walked toward their "boyfriends."
"Yeah, Suga-san," they both said.
"That's what I thought. Hmm, now, Daichi, let's go. I wanna find our first years." Suga said, holding Daichi's hand, but before they went, he looked back at Tanaka and Noya. "Don't cause a ruckus again, or else you'll know what will happen, hmm?" The two chaotic duos immediately gave him a continuous nod.
"Good," Suga says as he grabs Daichi and walks away.
In the Fukurodani group
"Bokuto-san, please stop crying," Akaashi said, looking at his teammates and asking for help, but they just looked away, not wanting to deal with an extremely emo-mode Bokuto. Akaashi sighed as he could feel the headache coming.
"No, that's unfair, Agaashi. I want to stay with my student too; why can't I stay with him and you can?" Bokuto said while crying that it brought so much stress to Akaashi.
This is why he does not want to tell Bokuto about, him staying at Hinata's place for tonight before shopping for their things.
"Okay, please stop crying first, then I'll ask my dad if you can come with me," Akaashi said desperately, and Bokuto just peeked at Akaashi, still crying with snot and tears on his face.
"R-really A-agaashi?" He asked; he stopped crying, but he was still sniffing. The setter nodded and handed him his handkerchief to wipe his face.
"Y-you're not kidding me, right?" Once again, the setter just sighed, nodded, and fished his phone out of his pocket to call his father and ask if Bokuto could stay with him.
While in Shiratorizawa, Semi is scolding Tendou for starting chaos with the two idiots of Karasuno.
"Tendou... I swear to God, the coach is going to reprimand us again because you guys are always causing problems."
"Oh, come on, where's the fun in here if we can't pull a little prank, you know?" Tendou said as he let out a shrill laugh.
"Right Wakatoshi-kun?" Tendou put his arm around Ushijima's shoulder, who only hummed in response.
"You know what? Just do what you want," Semi said tiredly, while Tendou simply laughed at him.
"Why are you still trying to scold him when it's clear that he will never listen to you?" Shirabu rolled his eyes at Semi while Goshiki was hugging him, or should I say sleeping on him, and Shirabu was softly caressing Goshiki's hand, not wanting to wake him.
Meanwhile, in Itachiyama's game, is still playing against Date Tech, the score is 23-21 in favor of Itachiyama.
"Nice serve!" Sakusa's teammates shouted when Sakusa went for a serve. Sakusa spins the ball twice before throwing it upward to do his jump serve. He hits the ball with force and adds spin to it, which earns him a service ace.
"One more!" His teammates yelled as he did the same thing, and he hit the ball again, but unfortunately, it went out because of too much force, and now the score is 24-22, still a set point for Itachiyama. Futakuchi is serving.
"Nice serve!" Fukutakuchi did a jump serve, but it was easily received by Komori, who sent the ball to Izuna, their setter, who set the ball for Sakusa, but the Iron Wall immediately blocked him, but it was too late, concluding the match with Itachiyama winning 25-22.
"I'll go to my room first," Sakusa said. Their coach and captain just nodded, and Sakusa immediately ran outside the gym to only see Hinata with Kageyama. He felt so jealous that he immediately ran toward the dorm building to take a shower.
Then let's go back to our sunshine boy, who's still with Kageyama. Shoyo realized that Tobio had fallen asleep on him, but he didn't mind, and he looked around the area to see Tanaka with Ennoshita and the other second-year students talking.
Noya is sleeping on Asahi's shoulder, which makes him smile, while at the entrance of the gym, there's Tadashi, who's waiting for his boyfriend to finish their drills with Nekoma, and in the corner, with the tree, there is Tsukishima, who is peacefully sleeping with his arms covering his eyes.
"Tsukishima looks so uncomfortable laying there with no cushion for his head," he thought before having an epiphany and gently stirring Tobio.
"Kags, it looks uncomfortable here; let's go to that tree there, where you can lay more comfortably on me," Hinata said softly, earning a hum from Kageyama, who was half asleep, and carefully sitting down, lifting Tsukishima's head slowly, not wanting to wake him.
Tsukishima stirs a little, but when his head is placed on a soft thing, he immediately dozes off while Kags sits beside Shoyo, placing his head comfortably on Shoyo's shoulder.
Shoyo hums a soft song, caressing Tsuki's hair and patting Kageyama's head in his other hand, eventually falling asleep with Kageyama and Tsukishima.
After Nekoma finished their drill, they went out of the gym to breathe some fresh air, but they were greeted by a lot of chaos, mainly by Yamaguchi, Suga, and Kiyoko, who looked like she was fangirling or something.
"What's happening?" Kuroo asked the person next to him, which is Ennoshita.
"Ah, they're taking pictures of Shoyo with Tsukishima and Kageyama under that tree." Ennoshita's words elicit a scowl from Kenma and an upset look from Kuroo, who walks towards the tree to find a peacefully sleeping TsukiKageHina beneath the tree, and the two, like the other people who like Hinata, feel jealousy once more.
'I wish I were Kageyama or Tsukishima right now," they thought with envy and jealousy.
---Time Skip---
Tsukishima's
I felt someone shake me lightly when I felt his hand again. I quickly swatted it away and am now relaxing on my sweet and citrus-scented futon. I remembered sleeping under the tree, then what's this soft cushion I was sleeping on?
"Come on, Tsuki, wake up. The coaches want to announce something. You guys need to wake up now." He jumps up from the ground as soon as he hears Yamaguchi's voice.
"What? What time is it?" As he sat up slowly, he inquired.
"It's already 4 p.m., and you guys already slept for an hour," Yamaguchi said. Wait, guys? I looked behind me and saw Hinata and Kageyama still sleeping. I turned red when I realized I had been sleeping on Hinata's lap a while ago.
"Oh, is someone flustered? Nice one, Tsuki. You're upping your game, eh? 😏😏😉" Yamaguchi teased me, causing me to blush profusely.
"Oh, god, you look like a tomato right now," he giggled.
"Shut up," I said, glaring at him, still flustered.
"Okay, okay, anyway, you need to wake them up, okay? We'll meet you at the gym," Yamaguchi says, winking at me.
I looked at Shoyo and Kageyama again.
'It will be a perfect moment when Kageyama is not here and I get to have Shoyo all by myself," I thought, but I'm happy I get to have a moment with him.
After a few moments, I decide to wake both of them, shoving Kageyama off Hinata.
"What the fuck?" Kageyama suddenly yelled, and I just rolled my eyes at him.
"The fuck is your problem, you beanpole?!" Kageyama yelled, looking murderous at me.
"Shut up, King, Yamaguchi asked me to wake you both up; the coaches have some announcements," I retorted, rolling my eyes at him.
"You should've woken me properly, you know." Kageyama as he frowned at me.
"Whatever," I replied, turning to face Hinata, who was rubbing his eyes.
'Dang, he looks so cute,' I thought.
"Moe." I blurted it out without thinking.
"What was that, Tsuki?" Hinata asked
"Nothing; let's go. The coaches want to announce something." I immediately stood up to hide my blushing face.
"All right, Bakayama, let's go," Hinata said.
"Don't call me that boke," Kageyama says, then we proceed to the gym. All the players are already there, waiting for us, and we bow and apologize for being late.
"It's fine, just come and sit here already, and we just wanted to congratulate you on finishing this training camp. We all know that you guys are tired, so we decided to treat you to some barbeque for dinner." Inarizaki's coach said I saw Hinata's face light up when the barbeque was mentioned, and the players celebrated.
"The dinner is at 7, and you guys have some free time to do whatever you want, that's all." Then they left the gym; the gym started to get noisy, which irritated me, so I decided to go to my dorm.
"Where are you going, Tsuki?" Yams asked, seeing Terushima by his side, holding his hand.
"Dorm, my head is aching here," I just said, then walked away. When I got back to my dorm, I remembered the feel of Shoyo's lap beneath my head.
"Argh, Kei, stop thinking about that!" I mentally cursed and decided to take a shower.
Shoyo's
After the barbeque announcement, I was so excited to eat some meat.😍
Me, Kags, Noya, and Tanaka Senpai dance our meat celebration dance when we're interrupted by Suga-san.
"Guys, calm down. Why don't you guys freshen up first, hmm? Especially you, Shoyo, Yams, and Yachi, this day is tiring, so go to your dorms and freshen up, okay?" Suga-san said, which we immediately did.
We get back to the dorm, and I take a bath when I remember that I need to buy a switch and games for Draco, Pansy, and Blaise, and there's only one person who can help me:
I get my phone, wallet, the small bag that I always carry, and my wand, then go to a room and knock. Narita-senpai opens the door.
"Hello Narita-senpai, is Kenma there?" I asked, smiling brightly at him.
"Hey Shoyo, yep, in his room with Kuroo-san," he answered, letting me in. I saw Kino-senpai. I waved at him before knocking on Kenma's door.
"Who's that?" Kenma asked from the other side of the door.
"It's me, Kenma," I said. I heard a loud thud, and then suddenly the door opened.
"Shoyo! What are you doing here?" Kenma said I peeked behind him and saw Kuroo-san laughing at the back.
"Are you guys okay? I heard a loud thud; what happened?" I worriedly asked before going inside.
"Oh, nothing, Chibi-chan," Kuroo-san said, motioning for me to sit with him.
"Nothing, Sho," Kenma said while closing the door. "So what brings you here, Sho?"
"Ah, right, Kenken. Can you accompany me to the mall? I'm going to get new games and switches for Draco and the others," I said as I clung to him, causing him to freeze.
"Can I come, Chibi-chan?" Kuroo-san asked pleadingly.
"Sure, Kuroo-san, that would be fun," I said and smiled at him.
"Okay Sho, ahm, can you give me 10 minutes? I'll just take a bath," Kenma hesitantly said.
"No problem, Ken, take your time; we still have plenty of time," I said, and he nodded, got some clothes, and went to the bathroom, leaving me and Kuroo-san alone. I was lying on Kenma's bed, playing on my phone, when Kuroo-san called.
"Chibi-chan," Kuroo-san said.
"Yes, Kuroo-san?" I answered as I looked over at him.
"I heard from Akaashi that he will stay in your house tonight." He said.
"Ah, yes, apparently both of our dads are in Slytherin, and they're best friends. My parents are more than happy to let him and some of my team stay." I continued scrolling through my phone.
"Well, I just have a favor to ask, but not the one you're giving me, okay? I want to keep that." Kuroo-san said I just laughed at him.
"Okay, so what is it?" I said this while staring at him.
"My mom said we don't have that floo channel or something that I can use to go in Diagon Alley; I'm wondering if I can stay with you too." Kuroo-san said hesitantly, "It's fine if you already have many people coming over; I'm not forcing you." he added before I could even answer him.
"What are you guys up to?" Kenma said he just opened the door while drying his hair. I muttered a spell, then his hair was dry already, and they looked shocked at me.
"Shoyo! Did you do that?!" Kenma asked, shocked, and I just laughed at him.
"Cool, you really need to teach me some spells, Chibi-chan," Kuroo said in awe.
"I'm going to teach you guys some spells when we get to Hogwarts," I said excitedly.
"Anyway, what are you guys talking about?" Kenma asked while hanging his towel on the rack behind the door.
"Oh, Kuroo-san said there's no floo channel on their house, so he asked if he could stay over tonight, I don't mind, and some of my teammates will stay over except Suga-san, Daichi, Asahi, and Noya because they'll stay at Suga-san's place, while Tanaka-senpai will stay at Enno-senpai, so it'll just be Yams, Kags, Tsuki, Kaashi-san, and Teru-san," I responded.
"Oh, can I stay too?" Kenma spoke almost in hushed tones.
"Sure, but we need to go now. I don't want to miss dinner later!" I exclaimed. They just nodded and got their things.
We ask our coaches for permission, which they grant, and then we rush to the mall to visit the game store.
"Let's go out and buy all these games, Kenma." I pointed at the whole rack of new-release games in every genre, and he widened his eyes, but you can see the sparkles on them.
"Chibi-chan Is that a bit too much? I mean, I don't even know if we can afford those." Kuroo-san said, looking at the prices.
"Oh, don't worry, Kuroo-san, we'll be fine," I said before they could argue. I called the attendant to give us each piece of the game in five separate bags: for me, Draco, Pansy, Blaise, and Kenma.
"Wait for five? Wait a minute, Sho! That's too much, and I don't need new games yet," Kenma exclaimed as he panicked.
"Ah, no, it's not, and it's fine Ken; it's my treat. Also, you can tell me if you want something, especially you, Kuroo-san; I haven't given you anything yet; don't worry, it's not the wish, so feel free to tell me what you guys want," I said, smiling at them and turning to the cashier, who was scanning the games and switches we bought.
"That would be ____.__$ sir" the cashier said, Kenma and Kuroo-san looked like an owl in surprise when they heard the price.
"Sho let's split up the payment" Kenma attempted to give me his card I just stopped him and got my wallet just to pull out the card that I rarely used.
"Here," I said as I handed it to the cashier. I heard the two gasps.
"C-chibi-chan, that's a black card, right? Wha-how, What?" Kuroo-san can't even form a sentence while Kenma is still shocked. I laughed at them and pinched their cheeks; they were so red.
"Secret," I said teasingly to them.
"Here, sir," the cashier said, giving me my card and the five big paper bags with the three properly sealed boxes of switches.
Kuroo grabbed the two big paper bags, as did Kenma, while I just carried one paper bag and the switch.
"Can we go to the restroom, guys?" They just went and proceeded to the nearest restroom, and fortunately, there was no one in there after they went inside. Shoyo locked the door and opened his bag.
"What are you doing, Chibi-chan?" Kuroo asked curiously; he seemed to have recovered from seeing my card.
"Oh, I don't really want to carry these around, so we can just put them here in my bag," I said, opening my bag widely.
"That's too small, Shou," Kenma said. I winked at him and carefully put the switches away from the heavy thing in my bag, and then they looked at me with awe in their eyes again.
"That's so cool, Chibi-chan, can you put Noya or Yaku there?" Kuroo's question makes me laugh.
"Rude," I said, then got the bags from them. He just laughed at me, while Kenma didn't say anything but stare at me.
"You okay there, Ken?" I said this while putting the last paper bag away.
"Ahm yea," he quickly said.
"Done, where do you guys want to go? Want some ice cream or something?" I asked. We exit the restroom to roam around in the meantime.
"Wait, you haven't answered me yet. Chibi-chan, how come you have a black card?" Kuroo-san asked.
"Haha, fine, my dad gave me that, but I rarely use it because I have my own savings and credit card." I looked around for something interesting to buy.
"Who's your dad?" Kenma asked curiously.
"Hinata Hiroto," I simply said, and then they looked frozen.
"What?!" I hold my ears because of the yell.
"Hey, calm down, guys; it's not even a big deal," I said, nonchalantly.
"What the heck, Chibi-chan, your dad is Hinata freaking Hiroto, and it's not a big deal? Dang, he has been the most powerful businessman for a decade now." Kuroo-san is in complete shock and awe.
"Well, my mom is managing the business now because Dad is focusing on other stuff," I said, then shrugged. "Come on, guys, you don't need to freak out about that; let's go; I want some dark chocolate ice cream," I said, then pulled them to BR to buy some ice cream.
"After this, let's go shopping for a while. Is that okay?" I asked, looking over at them.
"It's fine," they both said.
After finishing our ice creams, we went to a clothing store.
"I'm going to go there, you can roam around if you want, get something you like, and give it to me, okay?" I then proceeded to walk toward the hoodie section. I actually planned on buying numbered hoodies in different colors. I called the store attendant and told them what size and colors I wanted.
After paying, I came back to Kenma and Kuroo, who were looking at the shirts with cute cat designs.
"Do you guys want that?" When I asked, they were taken aback.
"Chibi-chan, don't sneak at us like that," Kuroo-san said, I just giggled, then gave him a soft hug.
"Sorry, anyway, do you want to buy those? I can include them in my bill if you want," I said.
"No shoyo, those games are enough. I should be the one spoiling you, not the other way around, you know," Kenma said as he pulled me away from Kuroo.
"It's fine, Kenken; I just told the attendant to include yours with the clothes I bought," I explained.
"And exactly how many did you buy?" Kenma asked.
"Ah, about 20 with different colors and numbers," I giggled.
"That's too much. How can you wear all those?" Kenma asked, confused.
"You guys can get one if you want; it's all in super big sizes because I love oversized hoodies, and besides, it's cold in Hogwarts, so you guys will need them," I explained to them.
"All right, come on, we need to come back before you buy the whole mall," Kuroo teased me.
"Bold of you to assume that this isn't ours," I teased back.
"Seriously?" He asked in complete shock.
"That's for me to know and for you to find out; let me just ring that up too, and we can go; I'm excited to eat dinner now," I exclaimed and gently grabbed the clothes they'd been eyeing since we got there and my hoodies. They tried to argue that I didn't have to buy those for them, but I insisted, so they caved. After that, we return to the camp, where the barbeque party has already begun.
'Yosh 🤤🤤 meat! Meat! Meat!' I thought excitedly.
"Okay, so once more, I want to thank you guys for participating and cooperating to make this camp successful. You guys can start eating now," the coaches said. We immediately devoured the meat and vegetables.
Akaashi's
"Shoyo! My disciple! Agaashi said I can stay at your house too; your parents said yes, and I hope they also say yes when I ask for your hand in marriage." Bokuto-san yelled while eating, which earned a lot of glare from the other players. I saw Shoyo turn bright red, and I was about to shut him up when Suga walked towards us.
"Bold of you to assume I'll hand my son to you, you owl! Shoyo will never have a husband until he is 30! He's too young for that yet!" Suga yelled and held Shoyo protectively. Shoyo just laughed at him.
"Suga-san, it's okay; anyway, it's so cool Bokuto-san, I'll show you guys my pets. "Shoyo exclaimed, and when Shoyo's pet was mentioned, Suga and Yamaguchi paled, and I now wonder what his pets are like.
"Unfair! Why can't we stay over at your house too, Sho-kun?" Atsumu whined.
"Because you guys need to pack your things, you can see him in the morning," Kita said. That made Atsumu pout, and I just sighed.
"Well, Shoyo, we'll see you too in the morning. My mom said she knows where you guys are, so she'll take us along with Shirabu and Tendou." Ushijima said seriously.
"That's cool, Toshi-senpai," Shoyo answered, smiling brightly. "We're still able to see each other tomorrow then!" he added excitedly.
"Sure, we'll just meet you guys there, okay?" Suga-san said, and Shoyo just nodded. Aone also stated the same thing.
"How about you, Haji-chan, and Oikawa-san? I know Kira will just meet us there, so I don't need to worry about him." Shoyo said, then patted Kunimi-kun's head on his side.
"Me and Oinkawa here will just meet you guys at the place too. My dad said he knows someone with the floo channel," Iwaizumi-san said.
"Oh, okay, see you tomorrow then," Shoyo answered, beaming at Iwaizumi-san.
"What about you, Rintarou?" Kita asks Suna.
"Hmm, I'll stay at my mom's friend's house," Suna answered shortly, to which Kita just nodded.
"Kenma where are you guys gonna stay?" I asked Kenma beside me, who I believe is playing a new game.
"At Shoyo's too," he answered shortly.
"Broo," Bokuto and Kuroo said in unison. I just nodded and looked around at our table.
"Shoyo, I want to see your pets too!" Nishinoya and Tanaka yelled at the same time.
I face-palmed because we're the loudest group in here. Bokuto and Kuroo-san are having their own bromance, and Tanaka and Noya are both yelling. Tendou-san is just laughing at how chaotic our group is.
"Don't worry, senpai, you'll see them; I'm even bringing them, along with Chummy, the twins, and Blacky." Shoyo then smiled sweetly, making Suga and Yamaguchi even paler. I think Shoyo is talking about puppies or cats.
"Cool! There are even twins. I'm excited," Tanaka exclaimed.
"You'll take that back," Suga mumbled in a low voice, which made my brows furrow, making me more curious about Shoyo's pets.
After that, we proceeded to eat while talking about volleyball and other stuff and the continuous chaos they were creating.
'Can I really survive this year with them? I think they're going to kill me from stress,' I thought to myself, then sighed.
