Sirius
Sirius stormed into his house and sat on the sofa, picking up his laptop. He pulled up google and started his search. Spider-Man- face reveal ? Spider-Man unmasked. Who is Spider-Man.
He wanted to find out who Spider-Man was, he was bugging him with the saving all the time plus he sounded very familiar. Google however was no help, just stupid theories about random teenage boys and younger celebs.
He was still on his laptop when he heard a knock on his door, he got up and opened it.
”Marlene ?” He said, looking at the short blonde girl infront of him.
”Hey Sirius” she said, pulling him into a hug, “sorry I showed up unannounced I was around here and thought why not”
”No no- that’s fine I missed you come inside” he said stepping sideways and shutting the door when she entered.
She sat down and looked at his laptop “Um- why are you trying to find out the indentity of Spider-Man”
Sirius ran over and shut the laptop before sitting, “James wanted to know”
”Bullshit- James and Mary told me you have some gruge against him”
”It’s hardly a gruge”
”that’s exactly what it is”
”No he seems like a nice guy just curious”
“Oh you are so obsessed”
Sirius rolled his eyes and leaned back. Marlene looked at him and leaned foward “what’s wrong with you”
”I cancelled a date to try and find out who he was and the research is getting me nowhere”
”So- call whoever it is back up and tell them you wanna go out”
”But I’m doing this I mean I’ve barley even started”
”Oh who cares you can do that when you get home- who is he” she said smiling.
Sirius perked up and smiled “His name is Remus”
”Actually- I think Dorcas has mentioned him”
”Ah- how are things with her”
”I’m gunna marry her so hard Sirius”
Sirius laughed “How hard”
”Oh concrete hard” Marlene said holding back her own laugh.
It didn’t work though, her and Sirius burst into a fit of laughter.
“James seems chirpy lately have you spoken to him” Sirius asked after a while.
”Yeah he does- maybe he’s met a person”
”Good that will keep him of my baby brother”
”Regylus is hardly a baby Sirius- what is your brother is the person he’s met”
Sirius gagged and pretended to throw up, being his usual dramatic self, “that has to be breaking some sort of law right”
”Unfortunately I don’t think it is”
Sirius and Marlene chatted for about another hour before she had to go. She got up and walked to the door hugging Sirius before she left.
”Text Remus okay”
Sirius nodded and shut the door, pulling out his phone.
Okay so maybe he could find out who Spider-Man was AND go on a date. Remus was really cool and not to mention extremely handsome. So he decided to text him.
He needed to firstly apologise for cancelling originally, he couldn’t just tell Remus he changed his mind and to meet him.
He wasn’t very good at apologising though so he opened his and Remus’ chat and kept it short but sweet
Hey so sorry for cancelling, something came up but the crisis has been averted if your not to busy I was really hoping we could meet.
The reply came almost immediately,
Sure, meet you at the cafe in an hour ?
Sirius smiled and went to get changed. He wasn’t going to mess it up this time.
Sirius arrived early to the cafe, he thought it would be a good gesture after cancelling. And though it may have been cliche he had brought a box of chocolates and prayed Remus liked that stuff.
He sat nervously and glanced at the door just as Remus was walking in. He got up and hugged him when he got closer. ’god was that to desperate’ he thought to himself until Remus started hugging back.
Remus sat down and so did Sirius “hey I am so so sorry about cancelling earlier”
Remus smiled “no it’s fine I get it”
”I feel horrible blowing you off like that”
Remus snorted and looked down,
”Oh god- no no I didn’t mean blowing off like that way I meant ignoring you- not that I would mind blowing you off but not that I’m sexualising you- fuck”
Remus was laughing by this point and took Sirius’ hand, giving it a small squeeze. “Relax we’ve done this a few times before”
Sirius nodded and looked down blushing. Remus has some nice hands- not that Sirius has a hand thing- definitely not.
Remus moved his hand and ordered himself coffee and Sirius tea.He also smiled like a madman when Sirius gave him the chocolates- turns out he did like that stuff a lot.
”So” Remus started “how have you been”
”Pretty good yeah you ?”
”Ive been great”
”How’s work” It was simple chit chat but it broke the ice.
”Unbearable can’t deal with Mary and Lily eye fucking all the time”
Sirius laughed “I’m surprised Mary hasn’t gone for it yet she’s usually really good at shooting her shot”
”And what about you- any good at shooting your shot” Remus asked sipping his drink.
”oh I haven’t really tried lately I’m more of a- one night kinda guy this is my first date in a while”
”Should I feel privileged”
”Oh yeah anyone on a date with me should feel lucky- how are you not dying at the taste of that coffee you put no milk or sugar in it”
”It’s the way I’ve always had it don’t judge”
”My little brother has it the same way”
”How is Regulus”
”Happy lately- bit stressed with his roommate”
”What’s he like”
“Think off Regylus but ten times moodier” Sirius answered smiling.
”Oh sounds like a lot of fun up there”
”Hm- hey you mentioned you was from Wales before tell me more”
”Oh yeah well I was born in Cardiff in wales and lived there until I was about eleven when my dad passed we decided it would be a good idea to move up here”
”Know any Welsh ?”
”Fluent in it but I won’t tell you any til you tell me some French”
”Sorry can’t I save that for the second or third date at least”
”Like your favourite queen song”
”Damn right”
”Does that mean there’s gunna be a second date then”
Sirius leaned back and looked at him. He was attractive, funny and super smart.
”Yeah there will be if your down” Sirius said smiling.
”Yeah sure- can I ask a kinda personal question”
”Yeah sure go for it”
“What’s the deal with your parents”
Sirius froze, the dreaded parent talk, “I rather not talk about that right now”
Remus nodded and took his hand again, course take your time.
Sirius nodded and they started talking again, about Sirius taking Remus to work, about movies and books all sorts.
Sirius found Remus so easy to talk to and he was likeable his accent was also wildly attractive.
“Okay” Sirius said laughing “Team Jacob of Edward”
Remus groaned and rolled his eyes “Oh out of all the movies Sirius- it’s so bad”
”Oh come on it’s so bad it’s good now answer this could be a deal breaker”
”Team Alice” he said
”That’s cheating”
”Okay what about you”
”None but I do think Jacob is hot- there’s something sexy about being a werewolf”
Remus laughed loudly “Are you into that shit Sirius”
”Oh I’m into whatever you want me to be Remus”
“What if I was into tops- you would be lost then”
”Oi I’m very much a top thank you”
”This is my first time with you all day completely alone- and I already know you are”
Sirius tried to look offended but smiled “Stop flirting with me were on the first date”
”Oh are you saving for marriage then”
Sirius smiled and looked up to meet his eyes “no not really why is this you asking”
Remus smiled and shook his head “nice try Black”
’God’ Sirius thought ’Remus lupin would be the death of him”
