First Year-Full moon
Remus Lupin
Its the day before the full moon. Remus cant hep but feel anxious for tonight. Hes hoping the wolf will adjust alright to the new placement to transform. His mood swings have gotten worse over the years. But hes trying to contain it. Especially around Sirius, James, and Peter. He thinks they've noticed Hes more of a twat now than the other day, but nobody's asked him anything. Remus has been trying to avoid them as much as possible. They seem to be leaving him alone lately over the past few days . He wake up in the morning with a killing headache . His whole body is aching.
He sigha and sits. Rubbing his head with his hands trying to calm down the headache. He wonders if madam Promfrey has anything to help his head. Remus is in a magical school might as well take advantage well he can. Hell ask Madam Promfrey after breakfast .
He gets up to see that all of the boys have already left for breakfast . They must've not wanted to wake him. Remus doesnt blame them, he has been an twat these past couple of days. He goes to grab his uniform, when he can feel a rumble from his stomach. Whenever the full moon is around hes a lot hungrier than usual. He rushes to put his uniform and robes on . When he gets to the great hall he sees all the food on the table, his mouth instantly waters.
He sits next to Sirius and grab a plate and start piling food onto his plate.
"Hi Remus" Peter waves to me.
Remus wave back gently for a second and doesn't say anything, one because he has a mouth full a food, and two because he doesn't have the energy.
After finishing my plate hes about to get up. Then he hears someone talk.
"Lupin is it? Hm?" Remus turns around to see the greasy-haired kid that talks to Lily every day at breakfast.
Remus nod in response . Please get me out of this conversation.
"You look like shit" he says with a blank face. The people around him laugh.
"Severus dont" Lily says smacking his arm.
" Its true, I mean look at a those scars, I've heard your a Half blood are ya? the greasy-haired kid says.
"Severus Snape!! stop it!!" Lily says again with more worry in her voice
Remus can feel the anger bubbling inside him.
"Lupin? more like Loony, cause you look like you come from the loony bin"
Remus cant breath he can't see and he can't hear anything. The next thing he knows my fist colliding with his jaw.
Remus can feel him punch me back in the nose
"Fuck you, don't you dare call me loony" Remus yells
"Your crazy!" Severus says
Remus can feel someone pulling him back. "Hey, hey don't worry about him lets just go"
Its james
He can feel everyone staring at him. Remus feels sick to my stomach.
"Wow Loony Lupin is actually a Loony" Severus says when Remus turns around.
Remus puts my hand back into a fist.
"C'mon lets go Remus " Sirius says putting a hand on my shoulder
The four of us go into the corridor .
"Don't worry about him Remus, Snapes an ass and deserved what he got" James says
"Yeah, and that was pretty badass Remus" Sirius says
Peter laughs "That was so cool Remus, and he had no right talking to you like that"
Remus likes that they think it was cool but his body hurts too much to laugh along with them "I just want to go to go to the infirmary"
"Okay , do you want us to go? or no?" Peter says in a worried voice.
Blood is dripping out of my nose. "I don't care , I just want to go"
"Alright come on boys"
Once the boys get to the infirmary Madam Promfrey looks at Remus in shock.
"Remus! Heaven's what happened " she looks to the boys next to him.
"It's my fault " Remus says " I got in a fight " he look down to his shoes
"Oh my Remus , you boys should go , he' will be out in a while"
"Okay come on lads, Remus you'll be alright?"
Remus nods . He hates that they're worried about him. Cant everyone just let him be I'm fine, I'm fine Remus thinks
"Bye Remus " they all say in unison.
They leave in a hurry, probably rushing to class.
Remus almost feels like crying, his whole body aches . But he still has some dignity to not cry in front of somebody. Just build it up Remus you're fine, this is fine. This isn't your first full moon.
"Remus, are you aright?" Madam Promfrey asks
He nod. I'm fine, I'm just fine.
"Do you mind telling me what happened?" she says concerned about what happened. Giving Remus and ice pack and tissue for the blood.
He might as well her , shes doesnt seem like the gossip type
"Well, I was going to come down here after break feast, because my head hurt then, Severus Snape stated saying rude things about my scars and that I'm a half-blood, then I guess I just punched him and he punched me back"
a frown deepens on Madam Promfrey face. "Oh Remus, I know these days must be hard for you, I've read books on werewolves and it said that you can be short-tempered around the time of the transition , I'm so very sorry you have to go through stuff like this"
"You have books? about people like me?" he asks, why wouldn't he think of this, of course, they have books about wear wolfs. this is a magical school for Christs sake.
"Oh yes, I have a few , you should have them, really" She says walking over to her desk to grab them.
"here you go" She says passing me the books .
"And here's something for your headache" She hands him a tiny bottle of liquid.
Remus drinks it and scrunches up his face with disgust. Madam Pomfrey rubs his back .
"Don't worry you'll get used to it, hun" She gives Remus a soft warm smile.
She goes back to her desk when suddenly the phone on her desk rings.
Remus looks at the books she gave him . Ones called The guide to Werewolves, Werewolf study book, and The story of Fenrir Greyback. Remus can feel his chest tighten. The mention of Grey backs name shocks him, he puts the book down.
Deep breaths Remus, Deep Breaths. Just don't think about him

"Yes I have him here with me" She says "I think I'll just keep him here for a while then et him go to supper and he can come back for the rest of the day and he can rest tomorrow" she must be talking about me, I mean who ese could she be possibly taking about
It must be around ten in the mornig by now so that means just seven more hours till the sun goes down.
Seven more hours, that's enough time
"Yes Minny, he explained to me what happened earlier, Its hard on him right now, if you could just please let it slide around this one time" she's taking about the fight.
"I'm aware, but you must know Mr. Snape contributed just as much to the incident, he was being very rude to him and I don't find it fair to Remus that's all" she say determined to make her point across.
It almost warms Remus's heart that someone it defending him for once. But its not like he deserves to be defended in this situation. He just a disgusting werewolf that cant keep his anger under control.
he cant bother on listening to the rest of the phone call.
"I have to go do an errand, will you be okay here by yourself ?" Madam Promfrey asks
"Yeah , I'll be just fine, thank you" he gives a fake smile.
"Its really no problem Remus" she say leaving the room.
He lays down on the infirmary bed picking up the book next to him.
Fenrir Greyback, his Mum never really knew how to tell Remus about him.
He's the person , well I wouldn't say person, more like monster.

Greybacks the monster that bitRemus when he was just four years old. His Mum doesn't like talking about when it happened. She has told Remus bits and pieces of it because she thinks he deserve to know. All Remus remembers from it was him biting him and screaming.
So with my knowledge of what his Mum has told him. Remus's Father , Lyall spoke ill of the werewolf community and Greyback came back for revenge and bit me. Then Lyall couldn't "handle" the guilt of Remus being a werewolf so he just left , no note no nothing. He just packed his bags and left. Remus started reading .After a few hours of reading he comes across a line that caches his eye and it says. "Fenrir Greyback, has been noticed to have a pack of over 30 werewolves he has bitten and forced to join his pack." Oh god. The knot in Remus's stomach tightnes, there are over 30 of them?
He cant breath
"In and out Remus, In and out , Just breath" Remus sas to himself trying to calm him down.
It takes a few minutes to steady hid breathing . He decides to put the book down and just close his eyes for a while. Just trying to think of anything else
When he open my eyes , he look at the clock on the wall see it's almost supper time. He hope madam Promfrey back soon its almost dark.He hears the door open and Madam Promfrey walks through .
"Remus!" She looks down at her hand watch. "Its nearly supper!"
He jumps up, and takes a deep breath, it almost time.
"Okay, you rush to supper grab some exra clothes from your dorm and come straight back here, okay" She says in a rushed voice.
"Okay, see ya"
Remus runn to supper. And plops down next to Sirius. The boys all turn there heads to look at me. "Remus!" Peter says excitedly, Is he that happy hes back? "Are you alright?" .
What should he say he has to make up an excuse to not show up until tomorrow .
Then it hits him, That's it! Il tell them
"Madam Promfrey told me I have a fever and have to stay in the infirmary until I'm all better so I just have to eat dinner and go back" He lies well sorta. It's like half a lie.
"Oh no, Remus I'm so sorry" Peter frowns
"I hope you feel better in the morning mate" James says
"Yeah, and Remus when you get back, were totally planning revenge on Snape" Sirius whispers quiet enough so just the for of us hear.
The boys all laugh
Remus gives a weak smile, this is really draining his energy, He tries to eat as much food as possible.
He hear a soft clear of some ones through in front of him.He looks up to see Lily Evans looking at him with deep frown "Look Remus I'm really sorry about Severus he not usually like that"
Remus scoffs and gets up "I don't need your apology Evans" She frowns. Remus can see James look at her then at him. With worry written all over his face.
"I'll see you guys tomorrow, bye"
"Bye Remus, I hope you feel better in the morning " Peter says
he'll most likely be feeling a lot worse in the morning.
"Hey Remus, do you want me to walk you?" Sirius say
"I'm fully capable of walking for myself, so no" .
"Okay, bye" Sirius waves bye
"Feel better soon, see you tomorrow!" James shouts
He hurrys to the dorm and grabs Pajamas that he can change into in the morning.
He get back to the infirmary and madam Promfrey is all ready to go. "lets go, dear" She says putting a hand on my back.
The suns already going down.
They walk to this shack . There waits Professor McGonagall.
They walk into the shack there lays a bed with a bunch of blankets and pillows, and stairs into the next floor, it looks all old and abandoned . It still looks a lot more decent then the one at home
"Were going to put a safety lock spell around the shack so you can escape during your transition' McGonagall says
"I'll be here at eight in the morning to help you, I put a first aid kit under the bed " Madam Promfrey says with a soft frown.
"Okay"
"Bye now" They both say frowning and leaving
Remus can hear the door click then I see a gold sparkle go around the shack making him incapable of leaving. Remus places his pajamas at the end of the bed, he takes off his unifrom so it doesnt get ruined from this. IHethrow my clothes on the bed and wrap myself in a blanket, waiting for the transformation to start.
He feels his whole body start to hurt then it goes blank .

He wakes up in the morning shivering, and his hand directly goes to my chest, a big cut drags across it. He reach under the bed and grab the first aid kit and wrap his chest in bandage's. He puts on my pajamas and lies in the bed covering himself in blankets, his body hurts. Ihes just going to stay in bed until Madam Pomfrey comes in.
A whle later he heara a knock at the door "Remus, its me Madam Promfrey , can I come in?" he hears the windows clatter and the door unlock.
"Yes, you can come in " He says with a soft voice since my throat hurts from howling .
Which makes him squirm at the thought of him holwing last night.
"Sweetie ,are you alright?" Madam Promfrey asks.
"I think so" he saya
"Can you get up?" She asks
she's trying to be as gentle as possible .
"I don't think so"
"Okay, let me help you" she lays her medical suitcase on the ground, putting a gentle arm on his shoulder and lifts Remus up until I'm sitting . His chest stings and he start to feel more cuts on his body.
"Where are you hurt?" she says with a worried look.
My hand goes to my chest to let her know without taking. He can feel the blood already seeping through the bandage.
"May, I?" she asks so she can lift up my shirt to see my chest.
He nods in response. She lifts up his shirt and a gasp escaped her lips. Looking at all my cuts and scrapes "Oh dear" she grabs her wand and at the flick of it she heals it .
"Do you want to go to classes today, I can call you in sick" she asks
"No, I want to go" He gets up and grabs his clothes . "Can weleave?"
He asks, wanting to get out of this shack.
"Yes you can, but if you want to come by the infirmary for any reason you come, aright?" she says with a soft smile
He nods and they leave.
