Freak out in a moonage daydream

Potter was always superior. Not that Draco wasn’t good, mind you. Potter was just always … better. In Quidditch; whilst sneaking around in the castle at midnight; hell, even in writing his essays! (Though Draco could imagine him asking Granger about that) (Didn’t matter anyway, because the brat just got the good grades.) Draco hated Harry Potter. And he hated that he was always better at doing literally everything. Draco knew, he himself was playing the antihero and that included being better at other things: dark magic, calling students names, etc, but why couldn’t he be good at something others respected too? No, not good. Better. Better than Harry-stupid-Potter. This a story about how Draco Malfoy overcomes his self-doubts, discovers the real face of Harry Potter and ends up singing karaoke. (Okay, to be honest, I was joking about the last one…..Or was I?)

Most of the mentioned songs/artists didn’t exist at the time the fanfic plays. And I know that.
