Rekindling

Albus stared at Minerva as if she had gone insane or something. "Minerva, I'm flattered really, but you know I don't swing that way," he said.

"Oh for...! This is for you, Albus! An anonymous delivery sent this to me with a letter saying to give it to you," Minerva explained, huffing.

"Do you still have the letter?" Albus asked.

Minerva nodded as she handed Albus two letters. "It was on my desk this morning before I arrived," she explained, "it got through the wards at Hogwarts."

Albus knew who it was from without looking at the letter. "No need in alerting Headmaster Dippet on this, Minerva. I know who sent it," he said looking at the box of chocolate he held.

"Why send it to me and how did he past it through the wards? Newt is always welcome here," Minerva said.

Albus was actually thinking about Gellert and not Newt. "I am still a wanted man, Minerva. The aurors are watching our move," Albus explained slowly, "thank you for bringing me this. I'll be in my office," he said turning away from Minerva.

"Send him my love," Minerva said quickly before Albus left. He didn't say anything as he walked back to his office.

Once in his office, Albus put down the box of chocolates on his desk as he sat down on his chair to read the letters.

He read the short letter of Minerva and it was indeed anonymous.

Minerva,

Please give this to Albus. I was thinking of him when I saw it.

Albus raised an eyebrow at the 'XOXO' and he was sure that Newt wouldn't put that in a letter for him.

He looked at the other letter and knew that he was right on who it was from.

Albus, my love:

It's too risky of me on giving this gift to you and I decided to be anonymous to Minerva. I am sure you'll know who it is from right away and Minerva would think the complete opposite.

I am ready to make my move against your 'ex-boyfriend'. You have to decide on who you want, love.

The next time you'll see your ex, it may not be in this world.

Albus puts down the letter as he sighed worriedly. He wants Newt no matter what people say, he will have him this time.

(Inside the Underground Amphitheater)

"No! You want me, don't you? Fight me instead!" Newt snapped angrily at Grindelwald who had tried to attack Theseus but Newt have blocked it.

"Do you really think Dumbledore will mourn for you?" Gellert asked huffing who stared at Newt, "he didn't made his choice yet, did he?" He asked.

Newt didn't say anything and he wasn't sure what happened next, but a green light was coming towards him as he reacted fast to block it with his wand.

The wands were against each other as Newt have used Expelliarmus on instinct.

"You think you can use that spell on me?" Grindelwald asked with a sneer as he pushes more of his magic to his wand.

"You can do it, buddy!"

"We believe in you!"

Newt gripped his wand tightly as he pushes back against the attack. He was getting tired and knows that he wasn't strong enough against Grindelwald.

If he dies here, he won't ever see....

"THAT'S ENOUGH!"

The spells on each wand were disconnected from each other and were pushed up against the ceiling.

The impact made the ceiling start to crumble as Newt heard a scream from behind.

"All of you, disapparate out from here! I was able to take out the wards!"

Newt knew that voice as he looks and saw Nicolas Flamel standing across from him.

"Jacob, come here! Newt, quickly!" Nicolas snapped at him as he disapparate with Jacob and was gone.

"This isn't over yet, Scamander!"

Newt looks at Grindelwald who was looking at him. "You may have won for now, but he will never love you!" Grindelwald exclaimed as he disapparated.

Newt looks around as the Amphitheater was slowly being destroyed. He disapparate as he joined the others outside from danger.

Once outside he sees everyone gathering around Nicolas Flamel who was sitting down on the ground, tiredly.

"Is he alright?" Newt asked Tina.

Tina shook her head, "he lost a lot of magic as he disarm the wards and the spells," she explained.

"Mr. Flamel, should we take you to St. Mungo's?" Newt asked worriedly.

"No, I'll be alright," Nicolas said, "Nagini could bring me back home," he added.

"Are you sure that's wise?" Theseus asked.

"She's all alone now, dear boy. I'm sure she won't do anything to me," Nicolas said looking at Nagini who nodded.

"Oh, before I leave," Nicolas said looking at Newt, "Albus was the one who sent me here, Newt. He is waiting for you back at Hogwarts," he explained.

Newt nodded as he watches Nagini go to him, "where to sir?" She asked.

"Safe house," Nicolas replied and the both of them disapparated.

Once gone, Jacob couldn't help but give a little cheer even after losing Queenie. "I can't believe we're going to Hogwarts," he said standing beside Newt, "I'll be seeing a real Wizarding school!"

Newt nodded, "You'll be the first Muggle to see it, Jacob," he said as he was happy for his friend who was a bit excited.

He, however, wasn't happy about seeing Albus again as he was sure who Albus had chosen.

He took a deep breath as he got ready to disapparate. He just hoped that the vial that he got was worth it.
