Harry trial was yesterday and everyone seemed to be a little more relaxed now, so much that he could here a cheerful melody being hummed by someone almost everytime he encountered someone.
This melody,this dammed melody was driving him nuts he never heard it before but everytime he heard it everything seemed so much happier and easier as if someone was standing next to him and giving him a helping hand. And he loved this feeling but why now and why this melody?
So he started to search for the source of the melody, who came up with it and who brought it into the house. So he started with questioning Hermione and Ron, so that they could help him search if the didn't know anything. Sadly both of them knew nothing, "Sorry Harry, but I know this melody as long as you do but I'm pretty sure that the happy feeling comes from you and not a charm of some sort because Ron and I don't experience these feelings." Hermione said while Ton exclaimed that they will definitely help him search and maybe start with questioning the others in the order.
And as they promised they started questioning the others on the same day. At first there didn't come anything helpful but when the asked Molly about it she knew a bit more about it, " Well I don't know much but I think Sirius and Remus first started humming it when they where concentrating on something, why do you even want to know that" "Just out of boredom" Ron quickly answered not knowing if Harry wanted anyone else to know the real reason.
Sirius and Remus this was the first helpful tip anyone gave them, since Remus wasn't in the house so Harry went up to search Sirius. Hermione and Ron wanted to come too but Harry said, that this felt really personal to him and that he will tell them everything he finds out but thinks that he has to do this alone. Hesitantly the gave in and now Harry here in front of Sirius and really nervous.
"So Ahm... Molly said that this melody that is heard around the house sometimes is something you and Remus started?" Harry asked mumbling into his non existing beard. Sirius lit up as some as the melody was mentioned "Oh yeah we learnt it in our school time and it was always something special and soothing so it became a habit for us to humm it sometimes." he answered and then with curiosity asked " Why do you have an interest in it.".
And with this simple little question Harry's nervousity vanished and he told Sirius about these Happy feelings and the positiv energy he felt everytime he heard it. And Sirius just started to laugh a little while simultaneously his eyes began to fill up with water " Of course I should have know, this little melody was something your parents, Remus and I always hummed to you to cheer you up or calm you down sometimes just to entertain you. I fought you forgot it completely you were so young and I don't know." He explained shakingly "I can teach to you if you want, you know Lily came up with it somewhere around our fourth year and it nearly snowballed into the Gryffindor anthem if Minnie hadn't stopped it from escalating" he exclaimed cheerful his mind fully in these happy memories nearly forgetting everything around himself.
Harry wasn't as naive to get in out of this state so he went back down, slightly happier than before knowing that not everything about his parents was lost to him.
