This story is written in its entirety.Anyone familiar with my work already knows I'm an avid drabbler, so I was naturally drawn to a challenge that encourages authors to write one 50-word drabble a day during the month of May. I'd already decided to participate when I started wondering how hard could it be to write an entire fic by linking 50-word drabbles together. It turns out it's hard indeed. But I'm incredibly proud of the result. I hope you all enjoy the fruit of my labor as much as I relished the challenge of creating this series. :)Prompt #1: Ignite. Days 1-7 ‘Say” Challenge: Don’t use the verb ‘to say’ or any conjugation of it in your microfic. This includes the words say, says, said, and saying.

Severus naps wand-in-hand, especially when he’s out in the forest. If he’s startled awake, Severus hexes first and blinks owlishly later. In his rush to play tiresome hero, Savior-boy never expected the ferocity of Severus’s flawlessly cast Incarcerous and thus falls, trussed up like a squawking turkey, at Severus’s feet.
