Who?
Aquila trembled as she came down for breakfast. She wanted re-assurance that whatever she was thinking was false. She noticed her sister already half done with her breakfast. "Delphini," she hissed in Parceltongue, her voice getting thicker with the lump in her throat, "Something is wrong with me." Delphini rose up and rushed to her sister. Enveloping her in a hug. Aquila tilted her head up, "Am I a Horcrux," she asked. "Why would you think that?" Delphini asked. She was surprised at her question. It came out of now where. That's when Aquila broke down. Harry, who had been listening to the conversation, stood and helped Delphini bring Aquila to her seat. Both their scars had stung at the contact which only made Aquila sob harder. Albus rushed to her side and brought her into his own embrace.
"What makes you think you are a horcrux?" Harry hissed. Albus rubbed the girl's back as she spoke, "I'm getting weird dreams from Voldemort's perspective and my head hurts every time when you're around." Hermione tried to rush the others out succeeding in doing so. Only Ron and Her stayed while the other Adults were shooed out. "Harry, what is she saying?" Hermione asked as she put a silencing charm in the kitchen. "She's having weird dreams. Like the one I had when we were at Hogwarts," Harry whispered, "she thinks she is his horcrux." Harry put a comforting hand on her shoulder but Aquila flinched away and further into Albus at the contact. Harry placed a hand on his scar. "She also says her scar (I assume) hurts whenever I touch her."
"Did he commit a murder with her around?" Ron asked. Delphini racked her brain to think when her face lit up in realisation. "Yes," she breath out, "A Carrow brother, I think. He was trying to do Godric knows what in Aquila's room when she was one. Voldemort killed him and was so in rage that he accidentally cast a killing curse on Aquila too. Her caretaker at the time had stepped in the way. I was there, watching from the creak in the door. He turned to black smoke but I assumed he Disapparated." Hermione furrowed her brows at the younger girl and then looked worryingly at Harry. "She-" Harry started but stopped when Hermione nodded, "Yes." Delphini's eyes glossed over and Aquila's sobs grew harder. She was Horcrux. "I don't wanna die," she said, her voice muffled from Albus's clothes' fabric.
"You won't," Albus whispered with a shaky breath in her ear, "My dad survived didn't he? You'll too." Albus lightly kissed her hair, out of consciousness and blushed when he realised what he did. Aquila didn't mind and just buried herself impossibly close too him, loving his warmth. "I'll go tell Draco," Delphini said as she stood up. She glanced at the couple with a small smile. Albus was on Aquila's chair and Aquila was straddling his lap with her hand around his neck. 'They're cute together,' Delphini thought before heading out.

Albus held the crying girl protectively into his chest. He felt helpless and numb. He didn't know how to react lest know how to comfort the girl. After deciding that she needed space, Albus helped her up to his room and placed her onto his bed. Aquila had immediately drifted to sleep. Albus lifted his hand to her face and lightly brushed some of her hair away. 'How did she maintain such curly hair?' he wondered. It wasn't long until he noticed the new scar that decorated her head. It wasn't has prominent has his father's. It was hardly noticeable. Just a thin silvery line that contrasted slightly to her tan skin, dragging in a zig zag pattern forming a lightning bolt. Her features were relaxed, as if the hysterics she had performed just a few minutes prior had ceased to exist. Minutes before.... Hours before now.
He had gotten up. He looked like a creep. He instead stared at himself in the mirror, slightly shattered. He examined his healing wounds. The black eye he had received just weeks ago were gone. There was a fading silver line across his cheek. That didn't bother him anymore, he had received it in his fourth year. Fourth year. He glanced at Aquila's sleeping form then back at himself through the mirror. A sense of insecurity hit him. He stared at one of his scars, above it left eyebrow, another one of Zabini's handiwork. 'She wouldn't like an ugly git like me,' he thought bitterly. He wrapped his arms around his sickly thin body as realisation dawned on him. Like a thunder cloud waiting to strike. 'She would never love a thin freakshow like me,' He thought again.
Purposeless Squib. A voice inside his head said. More like echoed Zabini's words again. At the time he had ignored it but now he realised that perhaps Zabini's words had truth to them. He was nothing but a Purposeless Squib. He had no chance with Aquila. Then a rush of angry fire went through him. He gritted his teeth, 'are you kidding me,' he thought angrily, 'Aquila has practically broken down and your worried about her not liking you?'
"Albus," he heard a mutter. He turned his head towards Aquila. He eyes were half open. Her body was half limp, probably from exhaustion. Aquila used her left hand to make 'grabby hands' signaling him to come beside her. Albus followed in suit as she shifted away, to make space for him. He crawled under the blanket and merely watched at Aquila curled into him and started to drift back to sleep again. He knew very well she could here his racing heart because she had whispered a quiet, "Calm down Juliet." Juliet? But Albus let that slide, focusing on calming his heart. "Do you know who or what is Voldemort's last Horcrux?" Aquila asked suddenly.
"If I had to guess, perhaps a pet or a death eater," Albus muttered. Aquila tilted her head up to face him, "Why?" "Seems like something he would do."
"Voldemort doesn't have a pet. Although I do remember Lucius suffering from a snake bite. Nagini was it. Yes it was Nagini." Albus pondered on it for a while before asking, "Where you that snake when it bit Lucius?" Aquila furrowed her brows in confusion before nodding. Albus's eyes shot up before he gasped in realisation. "What?" Aquila asked worried. Albus shook his head and hurriedly got up, immediately missing the warmth, "I've just realised something. Follow me."
