Chapter 10
Sirius POV
The next morning, he cracked his eye open, he tried to turn over but something was making him stuck. He looked around for a second before registering that this wasn't his bed. He looked down to find what had him captured, only to see a mass of curly hair.
It all came flooding back, the memories of Remus's nightmare, the talking, and the almost kiss.
He slowly tried to remove himself from under Remus who was half on top of him with his arm around his torso. As he moved Remus only held him tighter and pushed his face into Sirius's neck, grunting in protest.
He could feel Remus's small puffs of air on his neck, sending shivers down his spine and blood rushing to places he didn't need it at the moment.
"Remus?" He placed his hand on his shoulder a shook him a bit, "Remus?" He grunted again in response and somehow tightened his hold, "Remus?" He shook him harder.
Remus' eyes fluttered open, his long eyelashes brushing his cheek. It took him a minute to register what had happened and once he did he quickly shot up and climbed out of bed, "I'm so sorry!"
His eyes were wide and his whole face turned red, he ignored the little pain in his chest and laughed hoping it sounded believable, "It's fine Remus, really. James and I cuddle all the time."
Remus looked slightly relieved but the heat in his face stayed, "Yeah but I was basically half on top of you. I'm sorry. Did you at least sleep well?" Remus rubbed the back of his looking worried.
What for?
Sirius smiled and stood up himself, missing the warmth of Remus' body, "Yeah I did. How about you?"
Remus smiled sheepishly, "Yeah I did. Thank you for, um helping me last night. It truly helped a lot."
Sirius shrugged willing the butterflies in his stomach to disappear, "No worries, I'm glad I could help. Want to go down for breakfast?"
Remus nodded not meeting his eye, "Yeah let me just get changed."
Sirius nodded and did the same.
On the way to breakfast, he couldn't stop his mind from drifting back to this morning. He should have let Remus stay there, why did he wake him up? His body fit so perfectly against his, fitting like puzzle pieces.
Did Remus feel the same way? He can't say for sure but based on his reaction he would say no. He seemed more embarrassed rather than anything else. He looked up towards Remus as they walked silently. The sunlight on his face brought out the freckles scattered across his nose and cheeks, his eyelashes were long and delicate. The type that would make any girl jealous. The white scars stood out against his warm skin. He wants to reach up and touch his cheek, feel the scars, memorize the feeling and count every freckle on his face.
Remus always gives off a safe and warm aura, like he has a fire in him that constantly keeps the air around him warm and comfortable. Which matched the jumpers he wore all the time.
He's also always full of surprises, you learn something new every day. From the outside, he blends in, with his warm jumpers, cuffed jeans, and books under his arm. He's ordinary until you get to know him, then he becomes so much more. Remus himself is a book, every time you turn a page you discover something new that slowly helps you understand him more and more. He hopes this book never ends.

Sirius and Remus arrive at breakfast quickly eating as much as they can waiting for James and Peter to join them.
By the time their friends all make it down Sirius and Remus have finished their breakfast, and they all came crawling in looking like walking zombies. Somehow Remus and he hadn't gotten a hangover.
Once they made their way over they all started discussing their plans for Halloween and where exactly they were gonna have the party.
"The common room is too boring. We need to do it somewhere else." James whines while gulping down a cup of coffee.
"How about the black lake, we can make it creepy and add a bunch of decorations, while staying away from the castle," Lily asks.
"Oh yeah let's do that." Marlene agrees, clapping her hands excitedly.
"We can set up a-" Lucius Malfoy cuts off Dorcas as he passes by the table with Bellatrix.
"Fucking faggots." He grumbles, making Bellatrix snicker.
"What did you just say!" Sirius slams his hands against the table and stands turning to face them.
Lucius rolls his eyes, "He's not only the broken one but also the dumb one. I called you a fucking faggot."
Sirius clenched his fist, "Just leave before I punch you."
Lucius scoffed, "I'd like to see you try."
Before he could, Remus grabbed his arm, "Leave it."
"Oh, so you're a dog now, if he tells you to sit will you listen?" Bellatrix taunts.
Sirius tugged his arm trying to remove it from Remus's grip, but it wouldn't budge.
"Oh by the way Siri, little Reggie says hi."
Sirius felt Remus let go of his hand allowing him free rain. Knowing he can't hit Bellatrix he aims for the next best thing, Lucius. Not expecting it he has no time to react letting Sirius sock him in the nose.
Bellatrix screeched beside him in outrage. Before he could hit him again Remus had stood up and held him back, "Let me go!" He pushed against Remus' hold but he wouldn't budge.
"Sirius come on, you had your fun." Remus tried to get him away but he kept pushing.
Remus sighed deeply before he felt hands on his waist and himself being lifted off the ground. Remus flung him over his shoulder like he was a sack of potatoes. Sirius kicked and hit his back trying to get him to put him back down.
"Put me down!"
"No." Remus started walking leaving the great hall. Sirius gave up kicking and lifted his head looking through his hair the best he could and saw his friends walking behind them trying to keep their laughs in. He humphed and crossed his arms, pouting.
It took him a minute before realized exactly what this position gave him. A great view of Remus' arse. And a great view it was.
His jeans hugged it perfectly making it round and plump, perfect for squeezing. Sirius had to resist the urge to just bite his arse the whole way to the common room. It was torture, but everything he could have asked for.
Once they entered the common room Remus dropped him on the couch making him yelp in surprise. He sat up quickly making sure to put on his best pouting face.
"C'mon Pads stop pouting." Remus nudged his shoulder.
Sirius sneered and turned his head away from him in defiance.
He heard a sigh and shuffling before there was a dip next to him, he assumed Remus sat down next to him. "Pads mate, he did the right thing. You got your punch in." James says sitting down in the seat across from him. The rest follow his leading scattering around on the floor and on various chairs.
"He's being a hypocrite! Why can't I fight but he can?!" Sirius exclaimed, waving his hands in outrage.
Remus groans beside him. Sirius' head spins to glare at him, "First of all, you don't know how to actually fight. Unlike you, I've been in actual fights before and can easily avoid being hurt in a fight with those fuckers. And second of all, you were in front of all the teachers. If you really want to fight them just don't do it in the Great Hall. Hell, I'll help you. But you do not need any more detentions." Remus reprimands him.
Sirius deflates looking at his hand in his lap, knowing he was right. "Fine. But I'm keeping you up on that offer."
Remus nods smiling, "Good. Now I need to shower, I haven't lifted that much weight in a while." With that, he gets up waving, and climbs the stairs to the dorm.
Sirius looks up after a minute when no one starts talking. They're all staring at him. "What?"
Merlene rolls her eyes, "I think we have multiple things to address. First, how much weight can Remus actually lift? Sirius may be tiny but he's not light."
"Hey!"
"second, what else is Remus hiding under those jumpers. And lastly, why Sirius was staring at his ass the whole way up here.
Sirius's eyes go wide, face flushing, "I wa- wha- I have no idea what you're talking about!"
Lily giggles, "Sirius honey, it was obvious. Even under all that hair, I could practically see you drooling."
He hides his face in his hands pouting, "was not!"
"You were Pads," James says between laughs.
Sirius lowers his hands glaring at James, who glares right back. They glare at each other until Sirius groans and throws his head back on the couch in frustration.
"Fine, I was." He grumbles, "But how can u not! Did you see his ass! It's perfect! But it's not only his ass. Those jumpers and freckles, he looks so cute! And when the sun hits his face more seem to appear. And his hair! God his hair! It's so curly and fluffy, and I want to run my hands through it! His voice too, it's deep and soft, I could listen to him all day. And with those eyes! Did you know they have little gold flecks in them? You can just stare and get lost in them, they're the color of coffee, especially at night. And during the day when he's in the sun, they lighten a little like someone adds a dash of milk to them. Ughhhhhhhh. Then when he laughs there's always a little blush that appears on his nose and cheeks giving him that sunkissed look. And it doesn't hurt that he's so strong. He probably has abs!" He rants, unable to stop. He groans again before falling into the pillow next to him.
"You are so whipped." He hears James say.
