Chapter 1
“I got this,” A slim, dark-haired girl pushed the other people aside, and pressed the earpiece she had on. “Hari to the Tower, requesting backup over at 76th. I don’t know what those people are doing, but it looks something straight out of the Doc’s magic,” She paused, presumably listening to whoever was on the other side while keeping an eye on the green lights bouncing off the walls. She nodded. “ ‘k, thanks Doc. Oh, and Bruce? Yours might not be affected. Get your green butt over here,” She nodded again after a pause. “Right. Let’s do this. Everyone, stay away. Those lights can kill,” And before anyone could say anything, she summoned a pair of long, curved swords, and jumped up just in time for Doctor Strange to open up a portal for her.

Hari jumped through, landing and almost falling off on the beam beside Strange’s. “This your magic, or Wanda’s?” she inquired once she regained balance, deflecting one of those lights back at the shadow. A human-shaped thing fell to the ground and made a sizable dent in the road. The Supreme Sorcerer shook his head, frowning. “Wrong colors and Portal magic don't do that sort of killing. Not America’s either; as far as we all know, her magic can only split between the multiverses,” She groaned. “Great. Unknown magic. You ready Doc?” Strange smirked, holding up his hands. “As ever,”

2 hours and one lost sword later, Hari was sitting on Hulk’s shoulder, panting heavily. Wanda and Strange floated after her, conversing in quiet tones. Down below, Wong and America were combining their powers to fix up the wreckage left over from the fight. Tony was somewhere between the buildings, looking for survivors, while Natasha, Clint, Logan, and five of the Seniors from Xavier’s rounded up the remaining bad guys. She twisted around, waving away her remaining sword. “Hey, Doc? What was that? It didn’t look like any magic I know. It almost looked like my own abilities,” she called out. The two magic users paused their conversation and floated closer to her. Strange looked at Wanda first, who sighed. “As far as I can tell, it was similar to the magic you usually see in movies. They used wands, brooms, said some things and their magic would conduct through the wands,” Strange nodded. “Harri, remember our lessons on the different types of powers?” Hari nodded, gripping Hulk’s shoulder more tightly so as to not fall off. Hills were the worst when you were hitching a ride on a green monster. “Yeah. Wanda’s magic is considered Omnikinesis, or the ability to control anything within the realm of chaos. Portal magic is a sub-sector mix of Pýlikinesis and Mystokinesis. I have a mix between omni and Mystokinesis, and America’s magic is considered Multikinesis. Why?” Strange sighed, alighting next to her. “It appears that these people have your abilities, but because of their training, it’s much weaker because even as they transmit it through those wands of theirs, the wand also picks up half of it, depleting their magical sources much faster,”
Hari paused, then proceeded to fall off as Hulk started to turn back into Bruce Banner. A flash of red light, and a few moments later Wanda was holding her up, looking at her expectantly. “What?” the 11 year old asked, confused. “Well?” she prompted, making little waving motions. Hari groaned. “Just because I scored a 203 on the IQ scale doesn’t mean I can think of solutions faster than The Flash can steal a donut from Tony,” The witch rolled her eyes. “Yes, I know. But currently you’re the smartest of us currently here, so I need your brain cells in order to figure this out,” “Hopefully not actually steal your brain cells,” Strange joked. The two females giggled before quieting down. “From that little tidbit of information, plus the fact that Logan or Natasha still hasn’t told me who the group were, I think we might have a world living within our world,” All three beings stopped, with Wanda turning the youngest around to face her. “A world within a world? What do you mean?” she asked, Strange floated behind her as Hari shrugged. “Like…” she trailed off, eyes tracking Iron Man as he flew around. “Like a secret society nobody knows about, but it’s an entire race of humans… or whatever they were,” “Humans,” both Strange and Wanda said at the same time. Hari nodded. “Right. So then it’s a society of humans, with my abilities but more focused and less powerful,” Strange frowned. “That makes sense, I guess. But why the attack? And we should have been able to source them, right? If not us, then at least the S.H.I.E.L.D or Tony. Even you transmit enough power to power everyone in New York,” Another shrug from Harri. “Dunno. Maybe they have advanced tech? I know me, Peter and Bruce were working on transferring some of my power into Spidey’s webs to create better ones,” Wanda shook her head. “Even then, I should have sensed it, or at least the Doctor should have,” Hari fell flat onto her back, groaning. “I don’t know. I’m too tired for this,”

Wanda went into Mom Mode almost immediately. Ever since Hari had shown up in the Stark Towers at the Age of 7, showing signs of abuse and magic, she’d stepped in as a surrogate aunt/mother, despite Hari being Tony’s daughter. So the moment Hari showed signs of exhaustion, Wanda gathered her up in her arms. She turned to her friend. “I’ll take her back to Tony’s. Will you find her other sword?” Stephen nodded. “Good. Tell Tony where I’ve gone to spare him the confusion. Let’s go, Hari,”
By the time Wanda alighted in front of May, Pepper and America, Hari was asleep and was curled into the witch’s chest. Her arms were wrapped around her neck. Pepper cooed, brushing the girl’s wild hair out of her closed eyes, while May’s eyes snapped up to her. Apparently, she hadn’t forgotten what Wanda used to be. America hastily stepped in, taking the ring that held Hari’s remaining sword. She frowned when she saw the other one missing from her left hand. Wanda saw her look, and elaborated. “She lost it when one of those light things hit the sword. Must have gotten lost somewhere in the rubble. Strange and Tony stayed behind to find it,” America nodded, fiddling with the silver ring and its intricate snake design. The ruby eyes looked as if it was staring into May. “Peter’s inside,” she started, fiddling even more. “And uhm…” Wanda’s eyes narrowed at her averted eyes. “America? What happened?” The Dimension-hopper sighed. “The Professor came in just as you left with a letter. Came in by owl, he said? And uh… the locations are scarily accurate. It said ‘Hari Vision Rogers, Stark Industries, Stark Mansion, New York, USA,”
