I will be skipping episodes, I don’t want to seem like our dimensional travelers will get involved with every single thing in Mystic Falls. They will be brought into the supernatural mess that is the Scooby Gang after the Founder’s Day celebrations when Fenrir is affected by the Gilbert Device. So, there may be some time skips.
As of right now, I am not sure if I want to pair Leilani with anyone. She will be developing a sort of sibling kinship with Jeremy. Damon and Lei will end up frenemies. Death is like a father figure. That leaves a few choices:
