A bonding experience George called it, as if Percy cared for such frivolity. Alas, they’d traveled the world, exploring every wonder on Angelina’s list.
Finally, they’d reached their last destination. One final overrated wonder to coo over, then he could return home. Back to his comfortable office and suits and battered sausages.
Adjusting his sun hat, Percy stared down into the gaping cavern. “I don’t see what’s so grand about it.”
It was just a massive chasm in the middle of a sweltering desert.
Angelina sighed, rolling her eyes. “They’re not going to call it “The Okay Canyon”, are they?”
