The family

All this time, Lyall had lived alone on the Isle of Enys, away from the public eye, away from Wizengamot, let alone from the Order of the Phoenix and Albus Dumbledore.

Although Lupine's family is still there, enough to keep him a decent life, for Lyall, all sacrifices are necessary and worthwhile.

However, Sunday morning broke all the tranquility.

When he returned home from the orchard, an uninvited guest was already at home.

Beside the fireplace in the living room, a tall and straight man stood there, with short black hair and a meticulous look, and a pair of deep gray-blue eyes covered with a thin layer of silver light.

The man doesn't look old at all, except for the silver-gray tint at the end of his beard. And wears impressive long coat of Verdigris, and on his finger is a Tsavorite ring.

He couldn't help but think of twenty years ago.

"Orion." Lyall's voice trembled.

Orion is indeed able to completely break through the protective spell he has placed.

"You seem to be doing well, Lyall." The low but magnetic voice filled the living room at once, without even hiding the bewitchment hidden in the tone.

Orion has always been a demagogue, like he was born to be.

"What brought you here, what are you trying to get ? " Lyall tried to steady the panic in his voice, he must not show weakness in Orion's eyes.

He once escaped from Orion's grasp, and he believed that he could completely deny Orion what he wanted.

"Didn't Alphard tell you ?  Lyall." When Orion uttered Alphard's name, Lyall's determination disappeared immediately.

He knows everything.

Fear quickly occupied Lyall's mind, and the suffocation that should have been sealed up twenty years ago broke Lyall's longing for a peaceful life again.

"I don't know what you mean." Lyall knew how shaky his tone was, he tried to steady his thoughts, but it didn't help, the fear of Orion Black lurking in his heart overcame reason so easily.

"You've never been a good liar, Lyall." Orion's eyes flickered, and as the tone deepened, the thin silver light became more obvious.

"Tell me, Lyall, that kid, is he like Horus ? Like my dearest twin brother ? " There was a more bewitching tinge in Orion's deep voice.

Lyall's eyes tightened quickly, and he never told anyone but Alphard.

When Lyall was at Hogwarts, like every pure-blood kid, there was no doubt that he had a crush on Orion, who had been handsome and tall since his youth.

This obsessive infatuation not only allowed Lyall to step into the social circle of the Slytherin House as a teenager, but also gained him attention.

He was bright, and Slytherin always liked smart people.

However, his obsession clearly didn't win Orion's favor, so he turned his head and made his way to the Greenhouse.

There, he met Horus Arcturus Black.

"Or, The Muggle woman named Hope has made you forget that your son has Horus' blood on his body." Orion looked at him like a falcon, and a feeling of discomfort swept over him immediately.

This thing is absolutely not allowed!!!

Lyall was never a warlike wizard, but his abilities were never questioned, especially Defense Against the Dark Arts.

However, Orion's next move overwhelmed Lyall.

Orion raised his left hand, wearing the Tsavorite ring, to himself, murmured some ancient phrases, and waved his palm.

Lyall fell to the ground almost as soon as he waved his palm away, and felt huge and invisible pressure.

"Tell me, Lyall, that kid, is he like Horus? Like my beloved twin brother ? " Orion asked softly to Lyall, who was lying on the ground, walking so lightly.

Unlike Orion's very lilting tone, Lyall felt like something was strangling her neck.

He could feel a squeeze in his lungs, the force of the squeeze almost made him unable to breathe, and even the scene in front of him gradually blurred.

"I think you need to answer the question, Lyall." There was a touch of compassion in Orion's tone.

Immediately, there was an almost crazy squeeze on the lungs.

Lyall's face was almost blue.

It was as if his body was entangled by a giant beast, and the beast with a cruel character clutched his chest tightly with its palm.

He could feel his breathing rate drop.

Unlike Orion, who was at the peak of his magic, Lyall knew his magic was not what it used to be, and all the Defense Against the Dark Arts he was familiar with would certainly not work against Orion.

However, he has always been a man of tenacity.

Seeing Lyall's stoic expression, Orion's eyes became more gentle.

Instantly, Lyall felt as though his lungs were opening again.

"Horus once told me that he thought he had children who would continue the bloodline." Orion's tone was reminiscent.

We all know that Orion and Horus are inseparable twins in the classroom, but in other occasions, they always have their own social circles, plus as twins, they are not very similar, whether it is personality and appearance

Horus's smile is bright and his eyes are soulful.

Just as Lyall was just remembering Horus' face, the squeeze on his lungs came again.

"J'ai vu le regard dans tes yeux, Lyall, il te manque aussi, n'est-ce pas ?"

"Tu as toujours su que tu l'avais volé, n'est-ce pas ? "

The squeeze caused severe pain in his lower back, and he almost began to clench his palms, sweating profusely.

"Lyall, you have to answer the questions well."

Orion muttered again, followed by a pull that forced Lyall's palms open and his legs pinned.

Lyall, who could not bear the excruciating pain, almost lost consciousness.

"...he's like Horus..." Lyall responded with all his might.

Yes, his Remus almost resembles Horus Arcturus Black.

Although Horus Black and Orion Black are quite different looking twins, his Remus, has the same features as Orion Black, with a thin silver light covering the eyes, and a six foot two inch stature.

"Let's just jump right to the chase, I figured you wouldn't mind, Lyall."

Just like twenty years ago, Orion's silver eyes were shining.

On the other hand, Hariwald has returned to Wool's Orphanage, and in what can be called a spacious room, he sorts out the clothes and books he needs to bring into the wizarding world.

Although he doesn't have many clothes, he doesn't panic about it.

There was an urgent knock on the door while Hariwald was still adjusting his underwear.

"Come in," Hariwald said without hesitation.

There are only three people who can do this, except for one who is the dean and another child who has been adopted. At this point in time, there is only this one left.

A skinny blond boy walked in, and without hesitation, he clung and hugged Hariwald.

"You rejected the adoption again, didn't you? Mark." Hariwald was a little helpless. He really liked Mark, and he really regarded him as an important friend.

However, Mark's constant refusal of adoptions from others could easily leave the future in the dark.

Mark didn't answer, just muttered softly, and Hariwald, already used to Mark's behavior, turned around and wrapped Mark in his arms.

"If you say no again, you will most likely have to live with me, and I have an estranged distant relative."

Hariwald's words were both a notification and a promise. He believed that it would not be difficult for the Potter family to adopt a child, not to mention that Mark was not a Muggle.

Hariwald was there when Mark showed his magic for the first time, and because of this, they are the only family in the orphanage, and they are monsters in the mouth of other children.

Mark hears Hariwald's promise and lets out a brief chuckle, though briefly, Hariwald can sense Mark's pleasure.

"Want to hear about my journey today ? Mark."

For Hariwald, the image of his family was too vague. Although he was known to be the only child of James Potter and Rabastan Lestrange, one was declared dead by Dumbledore and the other was still imprisoned in Azkaban, so he basically had no chance to get to know them better.

As for, Dursley, it's not really family.

Mark nodded cheerfully.
