It's Just a Kiss
Hermione spun around quickly as she dodged a curse flying from behind. It was all a dance, a perfectly fluid, improvised dance. And it was always done best with a partner who knew your style as well as you.
Draco was already bringing his wand up to block as she turned and cast her next spell. He dodge dit and side stepped, Hermione followed but he was two steps ahead.
As soon as Hermione matched his movements he shot forward and for a split second pressed his lips to hers.
She instinctively responded, her lips matching his before her brain caught up with her body and she stumbled back. Draco immediately hit her with a binding jinx, effectively winning the practice round.
“What was that!” She shrieked, jerking against the body bind.
Draco brushed past her. He didn’t release the jink until he had his back to her.
“It was just a kiss, Granger.”
“That’s cheating!”
“Is not.”
He could hear Hermione huffing in dissent as he left the practice room. His hear was hammering in his chest.
As soon as the door shut behind him he took off into a jog.
What the hell had he been thinking?
