As Tom fed Alya her breakfast of homemade oatmeal topped with a light drizzle of organic honey and small square pieces of banana - Lucius was reading The Daily Prophet out loud.

Yesterday night (October 31, 1981) He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named entered the Potter house after receiving the location from the Potter's secret keeper - Sirius Black.
James Fleamont Potter and his wife Lily Jean Potter nee Evans were killed while trying to protect their children.
THE-BOY-WHO-LIVED & THE-GIRL-WHO-DISAPPEARED
Their son, Harry James Potter, miraculously survived the killing-curse. He is currently in the custody and care of Albus Dumbledore.

Tom smiled, Dumbledore hadn't been able to tell that Lily Potter was a fake.
Alya smiled up at Tom, she liked being around him.
Alya: "Mavo," she called for him telepathically through their soulbond, waving her small arms in the air - the light baby blue polish on her nails sparkling in the light.
Tom: "Yes, Darling?" he said, tuning out Lucius and focusing on Alya. "What would you like?"
Alya: "Up wit chu."
Tom: "Alright," he said, picking her up out of her high-chair and sitting her on his lap, one arm wrapped around her - ensuring she wouldn't fall.
Alya: "Tanks," she mumbled… "Wead it?" she asked, pointing to the newspaper Lucius was holding.
Tom: "You want to read it?" he asked.
She nodded enthusiastically.
Tom: "Lucius, please pass the newspaper, Alya wants to read it."
Lucius didn't question it and simply handed over the paper. Once Alya had it in her hands, she turned it upside-down and looked at the moving pictures - which caused Tom to laugh.
~ She was quite adorable, especially wearing the outfit Narcissa had picked out for her - an light ice blue dress with a matching hair ribbon, white knee-socks and black mary-jane style shoes. ~
Alya: "What funny?" she asked, tilting her head to the side.
Tom: "Nothing, Sweetheart. You're just so cute."
Alya: "Chu kwet to."
After breakfast, Tom, Alya, Narcissa, and Lilith traveled to Gringotts. Tom adopted a new alias, Thomas Marvolo Peverell, while Lily Potter officially became Lilith Jasmine Evanston. Before leaving, Narcissa opened a vault in Alya's name.

The exhaustive search for Sirius Black and Hanna Potter was officially over - the pair had disappeared without a trace.
Unbeknownst to the majority of the magical world, with the exception of Marvolo's trusted inner circle, Sirius Black had been killed on November 2nd of 1981, Marvolo's familiar Nagini had eaten Sirius whole, wand and all, so no evidence was left behind.
