Innocent ( POV Piers Polkiss )
Harry couldn't say a word.
The taller boy could only be allowed to carry out the immediate aftermath work.
Piers crouched in front of the green-eyed boy, diligently wiping the floor.
And habitually put detergent in the bucket.
There was some citrus mixed with the smell of grass in the detergent, and he remembered very well that Harry liked the smell.
Right after he kissed Harry.
"Piers , I love the smell of citrus mixed with grass on you."
The green-eyed boy stood there, seemingly not caring that his clothes were covered in blood.
Harry tried to keep the blood on his clothes from falling to the floor.
Harry looked more vulnerable and innocent than ever.
It's not the first time.
Definitely not the last time.
"Piers, what should I do?" the green-eyed boy asked timidly.
The boy's emerald green eyes seemed to contain countless innocence.
It was all so fast for the boy, he didn't even notice the screaming, he was just angry, very, very angry.
Piers stopped what he was doing when he saw a flash of panic in the boy's eyes.
Nothing was more important to him than comforting the boy.
"Don't worry, everything will be fine." Piers stood up. He was taller than Harry at the same age.
Harry is still a boy in his eyes.
It was the boy he had kissed passionately on the sand.
They had made an eternal vow on the sand.
"Does it hurt? My little squirrel." Piers asked the boy.
He kissed the boy's hair with a soothing and gentle expression.
The boy could only nod.
Harry could only let Piers do whatever he wanted.
Piers skillfully removed Harry's blood-stained clothes.
It didn't take long, and in a blink of an eye, all Harry was wearing was a pair of dark gray briefs.
The bruises from the past on the boy's body did not fade away with time, but became darker.
Without a moment's hesitation, Piers knelt down and kissed the bruises of various sizes.
He remembered one of the bruises.
The one on Harry's chest.
Piers kissed that spot gently.
"Only in this way will the pain disappear, Harry." Piers lowered his voice to a whisper.
I'm the prince who saved you, Harry.
The green-eyed boy looked straight ahead. There was a man lying there, silently.
The color of the sweater on the man's body is no longer distinguishable.
"Look at me, everything will be better, remember? My little squirrel." Piers raised his head and stared closely into Harry's green eyes, a pair of sea-blue eyes full of love.
Piers didn't know when he was, he could only see Harry.
Maybe it was the day at the zoo when he heard Harry whisper to the snake.
Harry never knew how much he loved him.
Yes, love.
Piers never found love from his alcoholic mother.
She always brought home one man after another, with no time to care about her son who was forgotten in the corner.
Every time she woke up, she would throw the ashtray on Piers' head and scold the man she brought home again and again.
One day, she saw one of the men she brought home trying to rape him.
She calls him a monster.
Yes, a monster.
Just like Dudley called Harry.
When he saw Harry being abused by Vernon and Dudley, his heart seemed to be called by something.
He felt like this family, how could they deserve to live, just like his drunkard mother.
When he tried to push his mother down the stairs, he felt no shame in that moment.
He just resented that his mother did not fall to death because of this.
"But, he... died... I killed... Uncle Vernon." Tears gathered in Harry's eyes.
Vernon Dursley's body fell there, with a look of horror on his face, his hands twisted, his neck broken, and a large wound on his chest, but Piers was sure that Vernon looked better than ever at this time.
Piers pulled Harry into his arms.
He promised Harry that he would be the Knight of the Rose forever.
and Prince of the Dunes.
"Harry, this was all an accident, remember?" Piers hugged Harry tightly.
His eyes were full of tenderness, something he had learned from watching TV for Harry.
Twelve-year-old Harry killed Vernon Dursley with his own hands.
"He saw us together, Piers, he saw us kissing, and he said he was going to tell Ms. Polkiss." Harry pushed Piers away slightly and told him the truth.
This is not the first time.
"I'm just mad." Harry's innocent eyes seemed like he was a born victim.
When Harry was nine years old, the girl who falsely accused Harry of cheating was bitten to death by a venomous snake.
"I believe you." Without any doubts, Piers believed Harry completely, and Vernon needed to keep his mouth shut forever.
When Harry was ten years old, both Petunia and Dudley died in a horrific car accident, with Dudley's head being severed and dropped on the side of the road.
"Really?" Harry looked at him with wide green eyes, like a squirrel.
When Harry was eleven years old, the old woman Figg hanged herself by a street lamp in front of her door.
"It was all just an accident, like I told you, an accident." Piers carefully wiped the glasses that Harry had accidentally dropped next to Vernon's body.
His Harry was innocent.
