"Care to explain what the hell that was?" Sirius asked abrasively.
"What what was?" Peter said as he came in with Remus, Marlene, and Mary.
"Jams over here decided to not only bring my Death Eater brother and his cronies to dinner, he also brought them here so he could wrongly yell at me." Sirius said. Remus looked at James and raised one eyebrow.
"In my defense, I don't think they've taken the mark yet." James said cautiously.
"They have. Oliver told me." Marlene responded.
"Well... Everyone likes a bad boy, I guess." James joked. "Even if that was true, I'm still going on that second date Friday."

A place in the house I wasn't supposed to go" Regulus sang as they saw James, Peter, Remus, and Sirius come into the bar.
"My father fancied himself a sailor

And it shattered on the ground when I slammed the door" Regulus made eye contact with Sirius and held it.
"I told my mother everything

This is all we have to say'" Sirius looked away guiltily as James looked entranced.
"'We don't remember a boat in a bottle
It must've fallen off its shelf alone
We know you loved it, we're so sad it's broken
But neither one of us was even home" Regulus spared a glance at Evan, who was there when this happened.

Against his" Sirius scoffed and went to head out of the bar.
"So I hid screw-ups from my father
Made up school awards to please my mom
Whatever made the steak taste better
Whatever kept the waters calm" Regulus kept his eyes trained on the group of older Gryffindors that had now gathered.
"I was told to keep their secrets
And in turn, they'd keep mine
As I got older I got dumber"
"Hell yeah, you did!" Sirius yelled, clearly tipsy.
"I couldn't help but cross the line."
"Being a Death Eater might've helped!" Peter shouted.
"Three times I nearly wreaked my life
Three times went crying to my parents
Who said they'd make it go away
Yes, this is all we had to say" Regulus looked meaningfully at Sirius before continuing.
"'We never rented a house in Sedona
We didn't see Camille the day she died
We haven't been on our boat in some years now
So we don't care what you found inside.'" Regulus held up a finger for each thing and looked at James. Sirius walked up to Regulus and slapped them.
"Fuck you! You're the reason I almost died!" Marlene yanked him off the stage as Barty and Evan ran towards him. James saw a brief hint of black in on their left forearm before they were hidden from site by their caring friends crowded around them.
