The Boy-Who-Lived ?
The streetlights and porch lights all along Privet Drive, flicked off one by one, until the street was coated in mostly darkness. Soft light of a full moon mostly hidden by the clouds as the night ticked on. “I should have known I'd see you here Minerva” Spoke a voice hidden mostly in the darkness by a lamppost and moss covered stone half wall. When the light of the moon peeked out from behind the clouds it revealed a really elderly man. He stared at a tabby, perched on the stone half-wall. The tabby gave a shrug as they slunk down the wall and hopped down , tiny body morphing into that of a stern middleaged woman. She raised an eyebrow before it relaxed. “Albus please tell me its not true. I've been watching these muggles and they are absolutely the worse....”she trailed off as the man nodded ”I'm afraid so....” their small talk continued in soft exchanged words before it faded into a weird silence.
The only other sounds would be traffic miles away, the gentle wind through the trees and the sound of a motorcycle approaching from the sky.”What is that?”She spoke however as it drew closer it was fairly safe to say that she recognized it as one Sirius Blacks Motorcycle, but what was even more concerning was the one driving . Moments passed and minor conversation before one Rubeus Hagrid flew away again on the blasted motorbike, Minerva was glad that she had the forsight to plant some silencing wards along the street so no muggles got to curious. She waited silent as she watch Albus Dumbledore wrap the child back up, tightly and place him in a basket with nothing but a note. Minerva followed Dumbledore as he walked away, silently seething that he didn't even knock. Her scowl getting warped by asoft yawn “It is probably best for me to be headin' home now Albus,”She paused with another feigned yawn “Poppy is probably up and still waiting for my return since my quick departure and is no doubt anxious for the news” she finished as she pulled her robes tighter as a particularly cold gust blew through the trees.
Albus with an annoying twinkle in his blue eyes nodded and vanished after bidding Minerva a safe travel. It was then Minervas scowl returned tenfold as she rushed back to the baby boy laying on privet fours doorstep asleep. She cast a spell on a rock, and with a soft apology, plucked a strand of hair from the sleeping babe ,watching the boys expression change momentarily as the sensation. Placing the hair on the rock and with a flick of the wand in her hand, promptly transfigured a golem. The hair causing the rock baby to match the boy who lived. She shoved a bit of her magic into the golem and was mildly surprised when a small whirlwind of wild magic stirred the dirt around her feet and around the golem. Mother Magic seemed to have agreed with her idea and gently pulled some of the boys own magic into the golem .
She craddled the real boy to lived to her bosom wrapping her cloak around them both as she promptly reached up to push the button that was a doorbell. For as soon as it rang, she vanished and the lights along the whole street flared back to life, as lights flicked on inside of Number 4 Privet Drive.
