Slytherin's Storm
Summary
Lord Slytherin, his heir, and their shared confidant take the wizarding political world by storm, in a particularly Slytherin fashion, of course. This is but a small snippet of what Slytherin's Storm was originally meant to be, featuring the aforementioned Slytherins discussing the Ministry's rumoured talks of banning homosexuality.
Note
Lord Slytherin is called Vincent Thomas Slytherin, previously Tom Marvolo Riddle, Jr. In the political world, Heir Slytherin (Harry Potter) is known as Hydrus C. Slytherin.

"Now what's this I hear about banning homosexuality?"

Alden jumped and whirled around, startled, "H-Heir Slytherin, L-Lord Malfoy," he shakily acknowledged.

"Well," the minister began, "look at the facts. Most, if not all Dark Wizards have practised homosexuality. Simply put, it-"

"Happens to be a mere coincidence, I'm sure you've realised?"

"L-Lord Slytherin! Well, I..." The minister trailed off, momentarily subdued by Slytherin's presence.

However, Slytherin was not quite done. "You know, most, if not all well-known Light Wizards practise homosexuality as well, correct? Furthermore, going along with your logic, you should dispose of children without mothers, yes? As statistics show most Dark Wizards have lost their mothers and had a previously strong connection with them."

Higgins piped up now, appearing beside Alden. "Really? Who? I'm afraid I don't know much about such subjects."

The minister's face grew red, either in anger at his employee's incompetence or in embarrassment from Slytherin's talking to. "Now Higgins, I'm sure Lord Slytherin has better things to do than engage in such conversation. Am I correct, Lord Slytherin?"

The little Slytherin smirked at Lucius, whose own eyes shone with mirth. The two already knew what Vincent would say in response. Sure enough, Lord Slytherin informed the group that he did not mind at all, and continued to name off figures such as Albus Dumbledore and Harry Potter. Though none of the group (except maybe a few gathering employees) were fond of Dumbledore, he was still a well-known Light Wizard and Light enforcer. As for Harry Potter, the now sixteen-year-old had been declared missing for months, but it wasn't too suspicious to mention the boy's apparent same-sex attraction. The Slytherins and Lucius were quite well acquainted with the boy, Heir Slytherin in particular, though it was not publicly known. Therefore, they were aware first-hand of his orientation.

However, on their way out, the authenticity of Lord Slytherin's claim was brought into question. The minister led the three to his personal floo, but before dismissing them he asked, "How did you know that bit, milord? Such a personal fact about Harry Potter?"

Luckily, the Slytherins had already established a story, regarding their personal involvement with Harry Potter. "Well Minister, I'm glad you've asked. My heir here was very close with Mister Potter. Though he was home-schooled rather than an attendee of Hogwarts, the two met over the summer one year and became close. They were nearly unattachable, and my heir was most upset over Mister Potter's disappearance. My heir had actually planned on attending Hogwarts this year, to spend more time with his friend. Alas, it was not to be."

The minister flustered, seemingly feeling foolish, and rightfully so, for alluding to such an accusation. "Ah, yes, of course. My apologies, Lord Slytherin, Heir Slytherin. Lord Malfoy," he said dismissively, stepping aside and allowing the three entrance to the floo. The lords nodded in response, while the younger Slytherin merely looked on. With their dismissal returned, the three returned to Malfoy Manner, Heir Slytherin leaning against Lucius to remain upright.
