It’s like that girl’s Quirk in Class B… only it does organics up to and including living beings.
Izuku saw it happen and, despite his protests, picks up his volatile classmate and takes him to school.
He hadn’t a chance to talk to the kid as he ran away and making sure kacchan didn’t get crushed was more important.
While he could carry Kacchan under an arm at full size, carrying him like this was so much easier… even if the other demanded to be hidden.
Katsuki rather shoot himself with his own blasts than let the extras, particularly the ones who hung around him, see him like this if it could be avoided. He was just lucky Deku was a push over.
