Quirks appear much earlier
Quirks arrived much, much earlier in the time line. In the middle ages in fact.
Though such individuals were thought God/Demon touched depending on the Quirk and either became massiers or were killed so it took a while for the population to build.
People just DIDN’T MENTION it as it was safer not to.
Different countries developed different Quirks as different things are acceptable in different cultures and so most indiginous peoples developed more mutant Quirks as those made it easier to adapt and survive.
More isolated peoples were Quirkless as Quirks seemed to lead to people being more aggressive and so it was thought various conquerors were carriers and so were their peoples.
After several plagues that developed with and targetted Quirks, Quirkless people became valuable because they either developed resistance quickly or were immune.
Things sputtered, staggered and stumbled along, with conflict, plagues, world wars, climate shifts until modern times evetually began happening.
It was later in development but tech still developed.
The two thousands was were things really began to pick up.
The internet fully became a thing about two thousand and five, with Q joining MI6 about two thousand twenty six odd.
The 00 program is still running.
Q’s Quirk is Suspend Belief which gives him half an hour were literally anything is possible within his area of focus and the range of his territory. With his already high IQ and computing skills, it makes him absolutely terrifying in his chosen domain.
It takes about a month to charge and Q dislikes using it. It’s CHEATING. He saves it for world ending style of emergencies when he’s well and truely stuck, running on a clock and lives are depending on his efforts.
