Poor ‘boys’
Izuku- widowed foster child mother. Forced to move to a cheaper neighbourhood while she goes out to work. Far less safe.
Ochako- parents own a small building business and were doing okay… until their partner, a person they’d grown up with, whom she’d called ‘Uncle’ and from the same small village their family was, had embezzled their money and taken off. Live in the same poor neighbourhood now that Izuku does.
Tsuna - Nana receives Iemitsu’s death notice and the funds he sends them were cut off. Although it wasn’t long, she and Tsuna were invited to come and live with a foster brother both women had lived with during their time in the system. Ironically, Tsuna is actually better for it.
The influence of his Flames are far less effective on the Quirked and those around him are far too busy trying to live to bother with picking on one small boy for whatever.
Naruto- raised an orphan no one cares for or about. He was snatched up by child traders at four but that was okay. At least here no one hates him personally. It’s a bit weird actually. Tired as they are, Inko and Nana, who end up rooming together, take him in anyway. He’s a literal ball of sunshine and good for their boys.
The three boys keep finding strays. Normally those are Quirked animals but one time it was a rock hided animal speaker who was mostly mute and very timid.
Runaways
Harry Potter- dragged along to be the Dursley’s baggage handler he would have been left behind anyway, but he doesn’t have a choice now, since he got a front row seat to watching the adult Dursleys have building rubble fall on them by way of Villain Fight collateral damage.
Daisy was only half-buried because he managed to tackle her out of the way. She was carted away for treatment and shipped back to England where she had a relative.
HIs last remaining blood family is Yakuza… and so he is, reluctantly, given to the man who is part of Overhaul’s crew.
He becomes Eri’s carer and when Overhaul tries to use his Quirk on the boy (despite appearing Quirkless, reason B why the police hadn’t cared what happened to him.) to punish the girl, his Magic and the Horcrux strike back, lashing out even as they fight to maintain Harry’s bodily integrity.
The Magic fed back through Overhaul’s hand, disrupting everything.
Overhaul managed to reassemble himself but he was a wiped slated, with no memory of pretty much anything beyond his foster father getting sick.
The feedback had also brought down a generous chunk of the base they were in. His relative just happened to be one of those under the pile.
Harry took what money he could, along with food and water and ran, taking Eri with him.
Tenko Shimura- His Quirk activated traumatically and killed his family, pet included.
He panicked, ran and found himself alone on the streets with massive trauma, a destructive Quirk and with no adult who would help him.
Harry isn’t an Adult and didn't realize he 'should leave it to the Heroes'.
It’s Tenko who drags the orphaned, panicked and angry Kota home. He watched his parents die on public television lost track of things and woke up here. Dissociation is rough.
Himiko Toga- ran because her parents were starving her even as they fed her. Her Quirk needed, NEEDED blood… and they wouldn’t let her have it. They wanted normal and she couldn’t do that. Just like she couldn’t help her Quirk.
Touya Todoroki. - Father is an obsessive flaming bag of dicks. ‘Trained’ Touya until he found something better in his youngest son (neither of them realized he had the ability to light fires at a distance, the way his mother could with ice) the training stopped and he was discarded.
Then he was handed off to the Commission.
He lasted half a year and then he torched the place on the way out taking with him a broody little brat who was also an orphan from the Elemental Countries.
Sasuke Uchiha had tremendous potential… if he wasn’t traumatized as shit.
Hawks went feral at the same time though they separated shortly after.
They keep track of each other and check in from time to time but that’s all.
The six connected with Harry as a nominal leader and Dabi as a second. Kota was found after they formed a group.
Harry, Izuku and Tsuna met at a soup kitchen. Things spiral from there.
