'Whispered' and Quirk/less
Izuku is six when he ends up staying home from school with a terrible fever.
He recovers but with memories of another life.
Memories of a girl called Kaname Chidori who was something called a ‘whispered’. A person with plans for certain types of technology hiding in their subconscious. Hers was never awakened because she was rescued before it could be kicked awake.
Then he discovers Kacchan was also sick.
He’s NOT okay.
Where Izuku was curious, Kacchan was just freaked out.
Why does he have memories of a GIRL? A high-born NERD girl at that!
He still blows up at Izuku but he’s glad he’s not the only one.
Izuku does some research.
There are nearly thirty kids around the same age that have all fallen ill at once.
All of them were boys and all of them had the memories of girls. Each and every one of them have the memories of one of these ‘whispered’.
Hadn’t there been boy Whispered too though?
At least he’d thought so.
Tessa san’s twin had been one. A bad one but still a Whispered.
Someone is looking for ‘Whispered’, maybe even a specific Whispered and used a boosted Quirk (maybe through Trigger, maybe through something else) to kick those who had been Whispered several lifetimes ago awake once more.
The effects were patchy, the memories coming back in bits and chunks and with big gaps missing.
Their Whispered knowledge has yet to resurface in even a single one yet.
Kacchan with his ‘Tessa’ knowledge is the closest but Izuku was careful not to ask as himself.
Kacchan isn’t stupid and he knows this isn’t normal but if someone’s looking for them, it’s better not to be found… at all.
Izu being Izu though, he wants to make sure the others are also safe and taking steps.
