Albus and Gellert were having a nice time.
The sun was shining, birds were singing.
They were lying in a field, flowers growing
here and there. The clouds above them
were passing by, slowly.
Every now and again, one of them would point out a certain cloud and how it looked like something they thought was funny.
All in all, they were relaxed and happy.
Right now, there was nothing else pestering them. No little inconveniences or problems nudging at their brains,
distracting them from the present.
Neither one of them said a word for a while.
That wasn't an issue though, they both thoroughly enjoyed the silence as they just lay there.
After a while of a comfortable, relaxing silence, Gellert rolled onto his side to face Albus, who perked up at the sound of movement and rustling of the blanket they lay on.
Gellert had a look of uncertainty on his face, Albus noticed.
"Go on", Albus murmured, smiling softly.
A few seconds passed, these seconds felt like they could have been minutes, hours,
days even, Albus wasn't sure.
All of a sudden, Gellert pulled a weird face.
He took a deep breath…
"Ey Bro lass ma' figgen"
It took Albus' brain a few seconds to register that Gellert was, in fact, not speaking English and he realised he had
absolutely no clue what his friend? had just said.
To feed Albus' confusion, Gellert scrunched up his face and bit his bottom lip.
“…I can’t tell if that was an insult or quite what.."
At Albus' look of utter bewilderment, Gellert burst out laughing.
In the end, he had to sit up, clutching his stomach which had begun to cramp
from how hard he was laughing.
He wheezed out a few more laughs and wiped his tears away, before turning back to a very, very perplexed Albus.
“Do not worry about it, my dear friend. You shall find out one day… or not”, Gellert reassured Albus contently, biting back the grin that was threatening to creep onto his face.
Their little 'hangout session' (as one may call it) was filled with Gellert constantly giggling, after a few minutes saying something his friend? couldn’t understand and looks of utter puzzlement from Albus.
As funny as he would have found it, Gellert didn’t dare telling Albus what the phrases "Ey Bro lass ma’ figgen", "Nur der Charakter zählt- Was soll der Quatsch? Dein Arsch ist was zählt", "Macht und so ist ja super, aber weißt du was besser is’? Mein Pimmel" and "Oof, Digga, wüsstest du nur wie nice dein Allerwertester is’…" meant.
If Albus were to ever find out, well, Gellert was sure his reaction would be fantastic.
