I wish I could understand how I get to these situations.

After I had opened my eyes, I found myself in a place I was not familiar of. The room was smaller than that of Grimmauld Place. The walls were old and gray with some of the bricks cut off to make windows. I sneered at the green coloured banner which had an S, clearly stating that a Slytherin lived here. I frowned. If this was my room, then did that mean I was a Slytherin. This didn't make any sense. Unless I was in a friend's house. But then that meant that I had Slytherins as friends.

Before I could think any longer, i heard a pop. In front of me was an elf who said, "Master Hadrian must come for dinner." Then she paused and looked at my face for a long time and I began to feel uncomfortable. "Master Hadrian looks different."

At this i frowned. How did Voldemort not existing affect my looks. To the house elf, i asked "In what way do I look different?"

"Master Hadrian looks very different. His eyes are the same but his hair and face are different."

Well at least I had the same mother. But this didn't make any sense whatsoever. Who was my father?

When I went downstairs for dinner, the first thing I noticed was a banner with The Noble House of the Prince written. The Prince!? I didn't know anyone who was a Prince and now I was pretty sure that he was my father. At least that explained my different name.

 "Hadrian?"

Uh oh. In front of me was one of the most beautiful person I had ever seen. Shoulder length auburn hair and vivid green eyes not unlike mine.

"Mother?"

She frowned at me, looking at me up and down. "Why do you look so different, honey?"

Oh right. This other me had different hair and face. And now I needed to find an excuse. "I...was messing around with some potions."

At this her eyes softened and she gave me a small smile. "Exactly like your father. Now I really need you to turn back to what you looked like. I guess you don't know how to, do you?" I shook my head, and she stated that my father would turn me back. Again I wondered just who my father was.

"Hadrian," came a familiar voice behind me.

I turned around quickly to come face to face with my least favorite professor. Professor Snape. I began to have a bad feeling about this. It only became worse. Mother looked at him and said,

"Oh honey, I see you have noticed Hadrian's....change."

That's it. My mother just confirmed that Snape was my father. I didn't know whether to feel curious or aghast.

Snape frowned. "And why does he look like yours and Potter's love child.

I looked at mother and was surprised to see her look so disgusted. "Sev." I gagged at the nickname. "You know I would never do that to you, let alone with Potter."

One look at Snape and you could see he wasn't completely convinced.

Now I was at a crossroad. I could either tell the truth and let them mourn about their lost son, or I could lie and let them fight. Okay, the answer was pretty obvious. Even if I absolutely loathed Snape, he was my father in this world and I didn't want my parents to get divorced.Taking a deep breath, I said,

 "I am not your son."

Both Snape and my mom looked at me startled and wary. I began,

"I am from a different world...."

Half an hour later, both my parents were shocked. I had explained about the Alternis and Mom told that she had read about it.

Snape looked at Mum and remarked, "So he really is yours and Potter's love child."

I saw Mum smile and say, "But from another dimension." Suddenly turning at me, she asked, "Dear, did you say that you had to live with Tuney?"

It took me a while to understand that Tuney meant Aunt Petunia, and I proceeded to tell them of her treatment of me.  Needless to say, both Mum and Snape were angry and horrified.

I then continued on to my first, second, third and fourth and fifth year with many interruptions. (You actually killed your professor, Hadrian! - Lily) (Did you really think that I would steal the Stone? - Snape) (Life debt to Potter? Merlin forbid that happens. - Snape) (I would bet my life Dumbledore actually wanted you to fight Voldemort. - Lily) (You are a parselmouth?! How could that have happened? Potter is not a Slytherin. - Snape) (There was a Basilik in the girls bathroom?! - Lily) (Black was a traitor and murderer! - Snape) (I always knew that Peter would be a coward. He literally ratted them out. - Lily) (The Triwizard Tournament! - Lily) (Wait was that the Regeneration potion?! - Snape) (Did that pink toad use a Blood Quill on you? - Lily) (Seriously, the DA? - Snape)

Then both of them proceeded to scold me. I wondered if this was how Ron felt whenever we risked our lives. Wait Ron!

"Mother, can you tell me about my friends? And which house I am?" Mother looked uncomfortable. "Look dear, from what you have told me, it seems that you have a dislike for Slytherin."

I immediately knew which house I was in. "And my friends?"

This time Snape answered. "Draco Malfoy is your best friend." I really wasn't surprised.

Dinner was an awkward affair with Mom asking questions (most of them were about my health) and Snape asking about Voldemort. I had to tell them about Lily and James Potter's deaths and they were shocked. They asked about how I survived and I told about my mother's sacrifice. Snape looked doubtful at that. At last I had to go to bed. I remembered that I had to go to Hogwarts the next day. This was really an adventure and for the first time I was looking forward to the Chirstmas holidays.
