Enki was born sometime long before 6500BCE and was gifted immortality and invincibility by the goddess Enki for which she was named after.
At first it felt like a "gift" from the gods, but soon it would prove to be more of a curse; once everyone she knew and loved passed away, she realized just how much of a curse she really had.
She saw the rise of the great city Eridu where she was thought to be a goddess, despite her insistence on being treated like everyone else, they revered her.
But as the years went by her people started to fear her.
In 5,000BCE Enki is forced into exile spending over 5,000 years traveling the world learning every languages known to man, Enki returns home in the year 116CE only to be captured and tortured by the romans calling her a "false god".
The romans soon trap her in a stone sarcophagus and threw it in the dead sea...

After Centuries of drowning but unable to die, Enki felt her stone sarcophagus get hoisted up, slowly making its way to the surface, through all the pain she was ecstatic, however unbeknownst to Enki, she might be in a worse situation; for who was fishing her out of the sea, was none other than Johann Shmidt or as most people know him, The Red Skull.
Red skull heard stories of a powerful immortal being, imprisoned in a stone sarcophagus.
After months researching the whereabouts of her stone prison, he finally located it in the dead sea.
Scouring the dead sea, red skull finally found Enki's prison on the sea floor.
After hulling her out of the water, he hands over the stone casket to his scientists to have them study and experiment on her, as well as see if they can harness her powers.
The scientists left Enki in her Sarcophagus, afraid of her power and instead drilled holes in her coffin to experiment, torture, and study her.
Enki laid in her stone prison being tortured relentlessly. So she stayed there hoping beyond hope to be free or at least die, but freedom will not come for a long time...

Enki was in agony, the only change Hydra was able to do to her powers were making her be able to give someone else the same powers, Hydra tried to make her give their leaders the same powers, but she refused.
Hydra gave up torturing Enki into giving them her powers a while ago. Now for the past 30 years they have been testing to see if anything they can think of will kill her and has been TORTURE.
Now the Avengers are raiding a Hydra base, what happens when a certain witch finds a stone sarcophagus with an unfathomable amount of pain and agony radiating of of it...
