Kids

Meriam and James; In order of maturity, but not age.

Born two months premature, Meriam is two hours younger than James, she nearly didn't survive the birth. Since the moment their mother went into labor, James was leading Meriam headlong into adventures neither were prepared for. They've made it this far and they have no intention of stopping any time soon.

Meriam is bad with directions. She’s mischievous and very clever; she always getting away with her pranks. She plays the violin. Her favorite subject is history, especially historical fashion. She wants to be a cultural anthropologist. She can sew and makes all her own clothes. She’s incredibly clumsy, and cannot be trusted in a kitchen or with potions. She’s a vicious duelist and not an opponent you want to cross. She’s petrified of water and cannot swim. When she was eight she nearly drowned in a river while trying to catch more frogs than James. She has a congenital heart condition and her life expectancy without medical intervention was six months. Her father's treatment only bought her a decade and she was living on borrowed time until Tony invented her pacer, based on his own Arc Reactor.

James has worse eyesight than Meriam. He’s extremely stubborn and hates backing down. His favorite pastime is pranking people. He thinks he’s stupid and the only thing he can do for his friends is protect them and make them laugh. He’s loyal to a fault, a feature that makes him the best friend anyone could ask for but also leaves him more vulnerable to betrayal than others. Since he believes he has little to offer in the brains department, he goes a little bit too much into athleticism. His goal is to be team captain of Midtown’s Soccer team, if only they had one. He will never admit just how much he looks up to and respects Tony and Steve, because he thinks it would be betraying his father’s memory. James is a little insecure about being the youngest in his friend group, only older than Meriam by two hours.

Lily Evans; Not Amused

Lily is from a small town in the midlands of England. Her father worked in the coke factory before it closed, where he suffered from asbestos poisoning. He died when she was little of mesothelioma, and always get sad when one of those commercials plays. She grew up with just her mother, who was ill ever since the funeral, and her sister, who wants nothing more than to be a house wife in a good neighborhood.

Lily is stubborn, competitive, and has the shortest fuse of the children. She tolerates no bullshit, especially from James. Ever since she and Sirius were kidnapped together, she's been a bit more lenient with him than James, but only marginally. She is the only muggleborn in their group, and while she knew about magic through her childhood friend, she still feels like she's out of her depth. Traveling to a new world full of superheroes and chaos certainly didn't help. She is determined to proof herself worthy of her powers, her position, and her friends. She tries a bit too hard, and tends to try for perfectionism, often ruining something that was good trying to make it the best that she can. All her life, she's been on the outskirts, and all she's ever wanted is a place to belong, surrounded by people like her.

Remus Lupin; Nervous Mess

Remus was born in Wales and contented himself to spend the rest of his life there. Never in his wildest dreams did he think he'd end up going to Hogwarts. It's safe to say he never even thought about Manhattan.

Remus is a werewolf. He wears exclusively big frumpy sweaters and the softest trousers he can find. He’s a big fan of poetry and literature. His favorite genre is sci-fi, but fantasy is a close second. He’s also a huge math geek and child math prodigy. He speaks four languages, English, Welsh, French, and Latin. His favorite pass times are reading, knitting, and doing extra credit. He’s very shy and stutters when he’s nervous and forced to speak. He can’t eat when he’s nervous, which is why he’s so skinny. He also cries when he’s overwhelmed. He loves his friends more than anything in the world. They’re his pack. He’s afraid he’s a monster because of his condition, and this drives him to be as gentle as possible, to the point where he doesn’t stand up for himself if he’s been wronged.

Sirius Anthony Stark; Living Up to His Name

Born into high class and large fortune, Sirius felt like he was in the wrong place, with the wrong people. The moment he got sorted into Gryffindor, he knew he would fail to meet a single expectation his family had for him, and he couldn't have been happier.

Sirius is a lover of good music, good cars, and good company. He loves his friends more than anything except maybe Iron Man, who he thinks is the coolest man to every walk the earth or fly the skies. He wants nothing more than Tony's approval and is surprised every time he realizes he's got it and more. He's prone to emotional outbursts, followed often by a long bout of sulking. He doesn't want to be moody, but it's hard for him to resist. The moment he met James, he knew that he would die for him. His life was nothing but the expectations of his family and all he knew was what they told him. He feels guilty for believing his mother's bigotry when he was small and didn't know any better. He wants desperately to apologize to Lily and Remus for thinking they could ever be less than him, when he knows they're so much better. His favorite band is Queen, his dream is to ride the Liberator by himself, and he wishes he had the courage to ask Tony if he could call him Dad.
