Intervention Vs

Intervention Vs…
Only the squishier spiecies have made it to space. Most of the tougher racers have had on planet issues that distract them from space.
Take the Saiyajin for instance. Before their clashes with the Poffles could come to any satisfactory result, their sun tipped into self destruction and their moon was destroyed triggering a series of natural catalysms on the planet.
The Poffles turned their efforts from wrestling with the Saiyans for their world to getting off their world and out of their system asap.
The Saiyans WEREN’T stupid… but they were warlike and so regularly attacked the Poffles trying to get their ships… except for a rare few of the third classes who were more interested in ensuring their mates and young survived. The Poffles were very intelligent… but they weren’t very strong. Saiyans were intelligent enough but their culture was warrior based and focused more on martial pride than valuing intelligence.
The third classes KNEW the Poffles planned to take advantage… but so were they.
They only needed away from their solar system after all. They didn’t need to STAY with the Poffles. Staging raids on the natal wards to grab as many children as they could, tuck them away in pods and scatter them among the stars wasn’t easy but it WAS necessary if their race was to survive.
Those few Saiyan scientists LEARNED from their temporary allies.
Learned enough, since the Poffles regarded them as ignorant savages, to ‘borrow’ and tweak ship designs so they could act as creches to the stolen younglings. Saiyajin WERE aggressive, but that could be channeled into drive, to self-improvement.
The creche ships/ pods would find a suitable planet, drop a small group and encourage them to live native when the young Saiyans were four or five.
Saiyan’s were hardy. They’d be fine.
Despite this, the majority of BOTH races died. The Poffle leadership was to entrenched in hatred of the Saiyans and the Saiyan majority fell to their savage instincts, attacking in rage and desperation. Only the more open-minded, the renegades of both species were able to get into space…but that wasn’t the end of things.
The ships were hasty constructions, built on the sly under building attacks. They weren’t particularly sturdy or well-stocked.
The creche ships were at least away safe. Two thousand infants and children, stolen away, had been already sent into space.
Of adults, a little over thirty Saiyans and seventy Poffles escaped.

Again and again, over the universe, this pattern continued. Were a war like race was getting to strong and looked like they might reach the stars, something happened to nobble them.
Either they couldn’t leave the planet, the planet was destroyed and most of them with it or their attentions turned away from space for one reason or another.

Thus species that would have normally be conquered or wiped out, were allowed to thrive, grow and make their way into space.

King Cold’s species were to busy coping with a planet that was turning into a hot desert to worry about space, digging down into the ground and living in underground bunkers, the surface being abandoned near completely.

Death Worlds, all over the cosmos, turned lethal to their inhabitants.

Earth was no different… only, Earth had a number of sentient species on it. Animals that had achieved sentient intelligence, artificial life forms… and a few aliens who had landed and blended with the locals.
The wars for independence and recognition had been fought in the distant past already and all types of people on Earth were citizens of Earth… only, somehting changed. It wasn’t just the ability to use Ki. People began developing powers seemingly out of nowhere and, some of them developing traits of the animal peoples.

Truely, the inhabitants of Earth were a mongrel species, but, on the other hand, they KNEW there were other life forms and beings out there and lost some of that innate arrogance that was so common in worlds were there were a single dominant species…

Even so, despite dinosaurs and people who occasionnaly changed and rampaged on the full moon, most of the inhabitants of Earth weren’t interested in leaving it.

Things would have remained that way… if only the interplanitary visitors would stop.

So many bloody kids in pods… still, Earth had plent of room still even if Dr Briefs of the Capsul Corp was talking about building a space station simply so they would stop dropping out of the bloody sky. Interception and then induction. To date there were a dozen or so different species to be integrated but most of their needs were no stranger than some of the Quirked so it was manageable and, on Earth, you generally made your own way as best you could.

Being contacted by the space alliance was… different.
Most of the aliens in it were pretty squishy but the people of Earth weren’t particularly fussed or in any rush to step out into space. They WOULD very much like to know where all these younglings were coming from and WHY it was Earth they were heading for. Surely there were other planets they could adapt to…

True, and many have, but Earth is one of a few that seems to have several different species on it getting along in relative harmony… more or less, and seemingly unfussed in integrating other sorts rather than fearing them and attempting to drive them away. There are less then thirty all across space and that’s a stupidly low number. The other planets, also marked as potential ‘Death Worlds’ have lots of pods arriving too so it’s NOT just an Earth problem.

In fact, any who wanted, alien or otherwise, were invited to compete in the international Martial Arts competition if they wanted.

And then some idiot tried to snatch some of the kids and bit off more than he could chew.

Tapyoka, daughter of Dekon, might not have ever met her sire, but she was a proud Saiyajin and fighting was in her blood… and this butt munch had just snatcher her, Nana and Koichi.
She wasn’t standing for that! Not now, not EVER.

Koichi’s Quirk wasn’t much help but he was sensible and smart.
Nana had her Quirk Float, that let her navigate in zero G easily and Yoka was Saiyajin, she might only be seven, but she was well trained with her Ki and in a variety of martial art styles.
She also had a Poffle dna in her mix so she was more of a thinker than most straight Saiyans.

More than her cousins, Kakarot and Raditz anyway, who were near straight Saiyan and pretty much meat heads… at least Kakarot was easy going to make up for it.
They and their guardian were travelling the world learning different forms of martial arts and how to control their instincts.
Kakarot even had a girlfriend of sorts. Chi Chi was the daughter of the Ox King and despite her questionable taste in costumes, she was pretty tough from someone who didn’t enjoy fighting but she’d beaten Kaka and he’d agreed to a betrothal… (She was pretty sure he didn’t even know what that meant.)
Raditz though, he was just a fight nut.
He kept getting into fights with this Japanese fire using girl who had Magma for hair and her best friend, Rei, who had a really strong Ice Quirk.
According to Raditz, Quirks were cheating. He hadn’t taken her mention of the idea the using Ki was cheating for those who didn’t know how to use it well at all.
He was a butt.

The Kami of Earth was still there and keeping an eye on his planet and the Dragon Balls were still a wild card…but most people couldn’t be bothered putting in the effort of finding them all.
The only other planet that had such a thing was Namek and it’s colonies.
Apparently, they mostly stayed on their own world but in the distant past there were renegades who had left before the species achieved enlightenment and began to leave more peacefully as different lines clashed to see who would be the one allowed to reproduce.
As such, Earth had at least seven different lineages of Namekian in residence while Namek and it’s two colony world had only one bloodline each.
The strength of the Dragon Balls depended on who was acting Kami of Earth at the time.

The current Kami of Earth had split himself but the bad side was killed and his Jr Self had been subdued and raised by Grandma and her Brief’s linage husband.
Grandpa made them THE best toys and training stuff and, he was part of the Brief’s family, who ran and created for Capsul corp.

OH… she’d forgotten about that.
She dug out her Capsul Corp fridge stored with food. Saiyajin ate a LOT… like a LOT a lot.
Grandpa had made she and her cousins fridges to take with them, along with anti grav bikes because they still weren’t that good at Ki flying yet.

While Nana was calming Koichi down, Yoka sat down and went through her Capsul collection.
YES, she did have the proto type space pod (What? She liked the feeling of zero gravity) so they could get home again if they couldn’t figure things out here…
She knew how to use it… sort of.
ANYway, it had a homing beacon for Earth so is should be fine, right?

Never mind that though, there were just SO many different types of aliens in this ship! She was going to meet ALL of them.

Well, they made it home. She didn’t MEAN to break the ship… or the guards… or that guy in charge it was just… they were all so squishy and delicate.
And she’d thought she was pretty good at controlling her strength too. (She wasn’t pouting. She WASN’T. Anyone who said otherwise were lying liars who LIED.)

She hadn’t meant to break the ship, but at least she could sort of talk to the other aliens now… even if it was through a translator.

At least they weren’t scared of her anymore. Anyone who’d laugh at her when she’d accidentally walked into a door (even if she’d accidentally dented it with her face) couldn’t be scared of her right?

Koichi needed to take a chill pill. NANA was fine with it so he could just calm the heck down!
Really, it couldn’t be healthy to be that high-strung… They’d gotten to meet SO many interesting new people and see so many different species and she’d been so, SO careful so that she wouldn’t hurt them after learning from the incident with the guards about how breakable they were. They DID have a Hero system on Earth but they had stringent guidelines before they qualified and they HAD to compete in the World Martial Art Tournement to qualify as a Capture Hero. Rescue Hero’s didn’t have to as they were more about rescue and helping, but they had to know SOME form of at least self defense too.

Apparently, the Hero system was MUCH more prevalent in space and Principal Nedzu of U.A. was an actual ALIEN. How EXCITING!
She promised to keep it secret though cause that was an AWESOME prank and it wasn’t like he was hurting Earth at all.
She wondered how many of him there were around.

When Terrans (she LIKED that. It was a collective term for ALL of the people of Earth) were officially allowed to come back she would TOTALLY be open to learning at Nedzu san’s school out here. She didn’t want to be a Hero exactly but NANA did and she’d be happy to support her. Yoka was more interested in becoming a teacher or personal trainer.
It seemed not many people able to use their Ki would wanted to come out into space for some reason. That was a SHAME and she wanted to fix it.
Ki could do so much to HELP people out here. Maybe make ‘em a bit less squishy.
