The potter twins were popular.
Well Harry was, not so much Emily.
Emily was content with her little nook in her corner in the library with characters in books she calls friends.
She was happy with the life her brother would have. Letting him the life that both of them could have and let him live both of them.
She was happy to let him be the child of the prophesy. To have the action filled life to be in his but not Emily’s.
She loved her quiet life she had.
Had.
Her last name came out. People swarmed her, trying to get close to the famous brother of hers.
Her very first so called friend stabbed her in the back to hang out with the younger twin.
The friend group she was in wanted to only talk about the famous boy in their grade with a lightning scar on his forehead.
The boyfriend she used to date was scared off by the brother after being threatened by many threats.
Her life was ruined by her brother.
She allowed her brother to take the life she could’ve had for a steep price.
Emily was finished. Finished by being on the sidelines every game. Finished having her brother in newspapers. Finished only her brother having fanclubs.
So for the first time ever, Emily was proactive.
Skipping transfiguration to walk to the large bridge connecting to one side of the school to another.
Sliding off her shoes, putting an envelope underneath them. Adding her wand inside the shoes. The small girl step towards the ledge.
There was no fear in her body. No nervousness.
Nothing.
She left numb.
And so she step another step off the ledge.
Free.
Emily Lily Potter left free.
The wind passing through her hair. The small smile creeping up on her face. The chill going through her body.
She felt happy for the first time in her life.
She left the world with happiness running through her body.
