Leon was forced to capture the humans. “Why?” Leon demanded. “They did nothing to us!” The humans were knocked out, so they didn’t hear this and when they regained consciousness, they assumed the ‘purple giant’ as they deemed Leon, had actually had wanted to kidnap them. The humans’ conversation (argument) is what we’re going to zoom in on.
“What do you mean, ‘we’ve been kidnapped’?!” River (the blue haired one) demanded. “We haven’t been bound! Any kidnapper worth their shit would bind the people they kidnapped!” Leon depressedly checked on his ‘prizes.’ They yelled at him in their language that Leon had just learned. They were yelling things like, “Let us go you asshole!” and “I hate you, you bitch!” “I’m sorry,” Leon whispered, then shut the cupboard he’d been forced to trap them in.
The giants’ plan was pretty simple for a giants’ plan. Leon would kidnap those humans and then disguise himself as a human and help them to escape. So basically, Leon would be a spy for the giants.
The plan was going smoothly. Leon had been thrown into the cupboard, AND the humans (except for the black haired one) weren’t even the tiniest bit suspicious about him. “Are you okay?” Lilian (the white haired one) asked. “Yeah, I’m used to it,” Leon replied and his answer wasn’t actually a lie. He was used to being thrown around by the adults. “How long have you been here?” River asked. “Ever since I was a baby,” Leon said, and still, it’s still not a lie. “What’s your name?” Sebastian (the brown haired one) asked. “I’m Leon. What are your guys’ names?” Leon said. “I’m Sebastian, she’s River, that’s Lilian, they’re Alex, he’s-” Sebastian was cut off. “Stop it, he could be a spy for the giants,” the black haired one muttered. “And Mr Grouchypants over there is Astro,” Lilian pitched in. “I’m sorry about Astro-” Sebastian started. “No, it’s completely fine. You have no reason to trust me,” Leon said. “For all you know, I could be a spy.” ‘‘Well that played out differently in my mind,’’ Astro said. ‘‘I thought that he would deny it.’’ “Well I’m sorry that you are suspicious of me,” Leon said.
Leon’s POV
It’s true, I was sorry Astro was wary of me. I was hoping I could actually make some friends. Just then, Sapphire checked up on us. She is the absolute worst. I heard her speaking in the most well-known tongue. “So these are the humans Leon captured.” I huffed and laid back against the cupboard wall. Sapphire shut the door. “So Leon, Do you know what kind of trap we’re in?” Sebastian asked. “A cupboard looking thing,” I replied. “Well that’s not surprising. Giants are idiots, so it would be obvious giants would put us here,” Sebastian said. I bristled. Welp, now I know that humans think giants are idiots. That’s quite rude. Sebastian walked back over to the other humans. With my wonderful hearing (giants have extremely good hearing), I listened into their conversation. “Do you really think Leon’s a spy?” A moment's pause. “Maybe.” Another pause. “Well I’m going to sleep. Anyone else want to join me?” “Sure.” I tuned them out. I checked the watch on my wrist. Five minutes before someone checked up on the humans again. I sighed, trying to doze off. A couple minutes later, there was a creak. I jerked up. “God dammit, it’s just Harrah,” I muttered. Harrah is my eleventh cousin removed twelve times. Giants usually have quite a few children, but I’m an orphan. I was raised by the catalogist of the First Library. “Wow, these humans are incredibly boring, except for that black haired one over there who’s giving a death glare,” Harrah said.
Astro POV
I really don’t trust this ‘Leon’ guy, even if he looks nice. I started when a giant opened the place we’re in. I heard Leon curse something unintelligible from the distance I’m at. Or at least I think it’s the distance… The giant said something and shut the door. I leaned back, trying to go to sleep, but apparently sleeping was beyond me. Eventually, I must have fallen asleep, as I woke up to the sound of pacing. It was Leon who’s pacing. “What are you thinking about?” I asked. “I am coming up with a plan to get out of here. This is the least surveillance they’ve ever given me, so I am taking my chance,” Leon replied. “Why so early though?” I replied. “It’s five ten a.m., so it’s not early,” Leon defended himself. “And how do you know this?” I asked. “I have a watch,” Leon replied. I blinked. “You have watches all the way out here?” I asked. “It’s my mother’s,” Leon defended. The watch itself was a barely noticeable traditional watch, with hands and everything. It must be pretty old. Most watches these days are analog. Leon turns his back to me and continues pacing. Lilian mutters something along the lines of; “Get away from the rhinoceros, you hideous dumbfuck!” Eventually I fell back to sleep. I had nightmares about how my parents died two years ago. That rekindled my hate of giants. A giant had picked my parents up and thrown them into the trees. I’m glad that giant had been hit by that bomb.
Leon’s POV
It’s been two days since I joined the humans in the cupboard. I’ve come up with a pretty good plan to get out. As far as I know, no one’s locked the cupboard. I shove my body against the cupboard door and push. The door gives way and I tumble out. The humans rush over to the ledge.
“Leon, that was awesome!” Lilian exclaimed.
“I guess so,” Astro admitted. I blushed.
“It was the simple matter of if the door was locked or not,” I said. Just then, I heard footsteps. “Hide!” I whispered urgently.
“Why?” Sebastian asked.
“Don’t question me!” I said. Lilian sighed and hid within my collection of cat carvings. A couple moments later, Fiona (Harrah’s girlfriend) walked up to my desktop.
“Why does Leon even need to be so organized?”
Thankfully, she didn’t break anything. She shuffled through some of my paperwork. How annoying. She messed up the pile! If- no, when I get back, it will be a pain in the ass to reorganize all the paperwork. River almost sneezed, and she was pulled back by Sebastian.
Fiona’s head whipped around, and she squinted, suspiciously.
“What the fuck was that?”
