Idea: Luz is half cybertronian
In this Luz would be Like canon Luz until weird things start happening to her like insane reaction times a HUD, like in the duel between Amity and Luz, Luz starts moving faster than anyone could move (I can't really put my thoughts into text) anyways she eventually finds out that she is half machine after Boscha hits her with a fireball.
Luz would have the pathblaster and the plasma axe for weapons, and warp for her ability. As for how she's have cybertronian, I'd say she has a similar origin story to Sari Sumdac from the transformers animated series, and as such could transform from her human form to her cybertronian form. Whenever Luz brings out her armor, she could slow or speed up how fast it deploys, so if she is just trying to scare someone it would deploy slower but if she was fighting Belos or an actual threat she could speed up its deployment.
