Out of the Darkness, Comes a New Life
Vi will feel out of place in both the undercity and Piltover. She’ll try staying with the firelights, but missing caitlyn and a number of other reasons will make her return. However, up top she faces persecution from the citizens, especially the enforcers, who are becoming little more than an armed mob.
Jinx is not going to be kind in this fic. She is mentally unstable and has a nasty vendetta against both Vi and Caitlyn. While she could get better in the future, right now she is in a very dark place, and she is extremely dangerous to both of them.
Caitlyn is trying to figure out where to go in her life. She’s currently taking her mother’s place on the council, but she hates it. However she’s wondering if she should stay to make things better from there or do something else. She’s also struggling to keep Ambessa from riling up the council into a blood frenzy and keep Noxus out of Piltover.
Vi meets Ren a little after one of Jinx’ attacks on Piltover. She’s feeling depressed, and goes to the river to think. That’s where she finds Ren, who had run away from the orphanage where she was being mistreated because of what her father did. They talk, Vi sees the bruises, and immediately just takes her back to the Kirraman mansion.
